        갈색날개매미충 성충을 유인하여 방제할 수 있는 트랩식물로서 선발한 해바라기는 갈색날개매미충의 산란전기간에 대하여 가장 높은 유인 력을 보였다. 갈색날개매미충의 생태학적 특성을 고려할 때 성충단계에서 산란전기간과 산란기간으로 구별되며 갈색날개매미충이 선호하는 블루 베리와 비교하였을 때 산란전기간에 91.4~95.2%의 높은 유인력을 보였다. 갈색날개매미충이 산란에 접어드는 8월 20일에는 산란기주를 선호하 는 특성 때문에 해바라기로의 유인률이 9.8~11.6%로 낮았다. 해바라기와 동시에 사용할 수 있는 침투이행성 약제를 선발한 결과, Etofenprox를 제외한 모든 약제가 90% 이상의 우수한 방제효과를 보였고, 방제효과가 우수한 살충제 중 Dinotefuran 은 95.8%로 가장 높은 살충률을 보였다. 방제효과가 우수한 살충제인 Acetamiprid, Dinotefuran, Thiametoxam, Imidacloprid의 약효지속기간은 조시기간인 13일 동안 지속되었다. 따라서, 해바라기와 방제효과가 우수한 침투이행성 약제를 동시에 활용할 경우 농경지내로 유인되는 밀도와 주변 생태계내 개체를 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 생각되며 장기적으로 생태계 안정화에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

        경남과 전남지역의 단감원에서 밤알락명나방의 발생소장과 성페로몬샘의 성분별 및 트랩 종류별 유인력을 조사하였다. 2014년부터 2016 년까지 발생소장을 조사한 결과, 밤알락명나방은 년 3회 발생하는 것으로 조사되었다. 각 세대 성충의 발생시기는 월동세대는 4월 상순-5월 하순, 제1세대는 6월 상순-7월 하순, 제2세대는 8월 상순-10월 중순이었다. 성페로몬샘 성분별 유인력은 (Z9,E12)-tetradeca-9,12-dien-1-ol (Z9, E12-14OH) 단독 루어가 (Z)-tetradec-9-en-1-ol (Z9-14OH) 단독 루어보다 유인력이 뛰어났으며, 두 물질을 9:1로 혼합한 루어와 차이가 없었 다. 깔대기 트랩과 흰색 및 붉은색 트랩을 비교해 본 결과 트랩 종류 간에는 유인수의 차이가 없었다.

        The female azuki bean beetle, Callosobruchus chinensis L., a worldwide notorious pest of azuki beans produces sex pheromone having two isomer compounds; (2Z,6E)-7-ethyl-3,11-dimethyl-2,6,10-dodecatrienals (2Z-homofarnesal) and (2E,6E)-7-ethyl-3,11-dimethyl-2,6,10-dodecatrienals (2E-homofarnesal). We synthesized and evaluated the attractiveness of different blends of the two isomeric compounds using Y-olfactometry in laboratory and rocket traps in the field. The attractiveness pattern of the tested blends in Y-olfactometry was found as 1:9≥6:4>9:1 of 2E-:2Z-homofarnesal. Under field condition also, the 6:4 blend was more attractive than 9:1 blend. The result ascertained the enhanced pheromonal activity of homofarnesal with the increased ratio of Z-component in the blend. This provides an opportunity to synthesize Z-rich homofarnresal with less sophisticated and economically feasible Z-selective method.

        Euzophera batangensis (Lepidotera: Pyralidae) is seriously damaging trunks or branches of persimmon tree (Diospyros sp.). We tested the attractiveness of (Z)-9-tetradecen-1-ol (Z9-14OH) and (Z9,E12)-tetradeca- 9,12-dien-1-ol (Z9,E12-14OH) with single or blended baits at southern parts of Korea in 2014 and 2015. The monoene was not attractive at all at three places during the two years. In 2014, diene was equally or more attractive than the mixture in Jinju and Suncheon, respectively. In 2015 too, the attractiveness of diene and mixture was not different in Jinju and Munsan. Monitoring of the seasonal occurrence of E. batangesis with the sex pheromone components revealed that it occurred three times a year; the first occurrence from early April to mid May, the second from early Jun to mid July, and the third from late August to late September.

        Many corporate brands are strongly associated with the person the companies are headed by (Argenti & Druckenmiller, 2004). Attention for corporate psychopaths (CPs), defined as individuals who show psychopathic traits and work successfully in corporations, has been growing lately (Boddy, 2005). Psychopathic traits (e.g. charm, lack of remorse and empathy) can easily be interpreted as leadership characteristics (e.g. charisma and decisiveness) and therefore boost the career of the psychopath allowing him/her to climb up the corporate ladder (Boddy, 2011). Empirical evidence—although limited—supports this assumption. It has been found that CPs more frequently have senior level positions in organizations than junior ones (Boddy, Ladyshewsky, &Galvin, 2010b) and that the chances of finding a psychopath among CEOs is four times higher than in the general population (Bercovici, 2011). A CP in a high level position (e.g. a CEO) can not only be assumed to have the largest leverage on how the company’s resources are deployed, but the way s/he is perceived by others also has a great impact on the company’s image (McGrath, 1995). The willingness to trust an entity is “based on the expectation that the other party will perform a particular action important to the trustor, irrespective of the ability to monitor or control that other party” (Mayer, Davis, & Schoorman, 1995). Therefore, the perception of negative/psychopathic traits in a CEO is of considerable importance to organizations because it influences the CEO’s public image and subsequently the level of trust placed in the top manager. This, in turn, can have far-reaching consequences for the company he works for because an executive’s greatest capital consists in the trust placed in him/her and a company cannot be successful in the long run without the trust from stakeholder groups (Hage, 2012). The perception of psychopathic traits can thus have severe consequences for the company’s attractiveness to its stakeholders. The current research investigates the effects of perceived psychopathy of CEOs for the attractiveness of any form of interaction with the company. Results of a structural equation model based on a survey among 670 participants show that perceived corporate psychopathy negatively influences perceived trust in the CEO. Perceived trust in the CEO, in turn, has a positive effect on perceived attractiveness of products, of shares, and of perceived employer attractiveness. Furthermore, if an individual considers sustainability to be of high importance, the ethical standards concerning sustainable behavior seem to be stricter because the trustor cares about them more than the economic aspects of how the CEO manages the company. Therefore, it was found that attitude toward sustainability moderates the relationship between perceived corporate psychopathy and perceived trust in the CEO.

        본 연구는 성별과 연령, 감성차원(날카롭다/부드럽다, 앳되다/성숙하다)에 따라 얼굴매력에 대한 평가가 달라지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 각 참가자들에게 60개의 여성 얼굴 사진에 대하여 9점 척도로 이루어진 세 차원(‘날카롭다/부드럽다’, ‘앳되다/성숙하다’, ‘전혀 매력적이지 않다/매력적이다’)에 평정하도록 제시하였고, 총 131명이 참가하였다(초등학생: 48명, 중학생: 44명, 대학생: 39명; 남자: 60명, 여자: 71명). 연구 결과를 알아보기 위하여 다층분석을 실시하였다. 성별과 세 연령집단 모두 얼굴이 앳될수록, 부드러울수록 매력적으로 평가하였다. 한편 성별과 연령에 따른 매력 정도의 차이가 있었다. 대학생이 초등학생과 중학생보다 매력을 더 높게 평가하였고 남자보다 여자가 동일한 사진을 더 매력적으로 평가하였다. 또한 대학생과 초등학생 간의 ‘날카롭다/부드럽다’ 차원의 평가가 유의미하게 달랐으며, 이는 대학생보다 초등학생에게 ‘날카롭다/부드럽다’ 차원이 얼굴매력 평정에 더 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석된다. 본 연구 결과는 얼굴이 앳될수록, 부드러울수록 얼굴을 매력적이라고 판단하지만, 감성차원이 매력에 미치는 효과가 성별과 연령에 따라 차이가 있음을 시사한다.

        Studies have reported differential attractiveness of yellow, white or blue sticky cards to greenhouse pests, especially to Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) and Trialeurodes vaporariorum Westwood (Homoptera: Alyerodidae). The main aim of this study was to determine whether yellow or blue sticky card offers a better option in monitoring or mass trapping these sympatric greenhouse pests. Laboratory study that included a multiple choice and no-choice tests to observe the attractiveness of blue, yellow, white or green sticky card to F. occidentalis and T. vaporariorum was conducted. Also, a glasshouse study was conducted to determine better composite attractiveness of yellow or blue sticky card. F. occidentalis showed higher preference to blue and yellow sticky cards in laboratory study and blue captured the highest number of F. occidentalis in glasshouse followed by the yellow. However, while the blue sticky card captured few T. vaporariorum, the yellow sticky card captured the highest number of T. vaporariorum in both laboratory and glasshouse tests. Since yellow sticky card received composite affinity of both F. occidentalis and T. vaporariorum, placement of yellow sticky card for the greenhouse pests, rather than blue or yellow targeted to individual species, is recommended for economical and optimal monitoring and/or mass trapping success of the tested greenhouse pests.

        This research is aiming to develop generic attractants for lepidopteran pests that can be used as a control tool for environmentally friendly management against the lepidopteran pests in orchards. During the first year of this research we carried out various trapping experiments in apple orchards in Korea. Field trapping experiments were carried out at two apple orchards in UaiSung-Gun, GyungBuk Province during May – September 2010, using different rice wines and fruit-based fermenting baits. Overall, when six major moth pest species(Grapholita molesta, Carposina sasakii, Adoxophyes orana, Choristoneura longicellana, Archippus breviplicanus, Phyllonorycter ringoniella) in apple orchards were counted, 445 moths were captured in raw material-baited traps and 1,566 moths in sex pheromone-baited traps. There were no clear differences in the attractiveness to the moths between different kinds of rice wines and fruit baits when the attractiveness of fifteen different rice wines and seven fermenting fruit baits were compared in the apple orchards. One rice wine (‘Chung-ju’ rice wine) and fermenting pineapple showed somewhat higher attractiveness to G. molesta than other raw baits, which will be re-examined in 2011 – 2012 periods.

        Attractiveness of stink bugs to various colors, heights and locations of fish-net traps incorporated with aggregation pheromones was determined. Bean bug, Riptortus pedestris Fabricius, was most attracted to yellow color trap, followed by white, black, green, blue and brown. R. pedestris and one-banded stink bug, Piezodorus hybneri Gmelin, were most attracted to fish-net traps placed 80 ㎝ above the ground regardless of sexes of two species of stink bugs. Between the sexes, however, R. pedestris females were more attracted to 40 and 80 ㎝ above the ground than the males at those heights although the attraction was not significantly different at 120 and 160 ㎝ heights. P. hybneri females tended to be attracted to 40 and 80 ㎝ height traps but the attraction was the opposite at 120 and 160 ㎝ heights. The highest attraction of R. pedestris was observed in a perilla field with no significant difference in the soybean field and border area in which no crop were cultivated between the perilla and soybean fields. R. pedestris was also more attracted to the sweet persimmon orchard than the soybean and medicinal crops fields, which was a significant difference between the two fields.

        본 연구는 사회적 상호작용에서 필수적인 얼굴 인상형성 과정 중 가장 대표적이라고 할 수 있는 매력도와 신뢰성을 평가할 때 시각적 주의에서의 차이가 나타나는지를 관찰하기 위해 고안되었다. 실험 1에서는 참가자들이 얼굴 신뢰성과 매력도를 평가하는 동안 안구추적기(eye-tracker)를 사용하여 사람들의 시선움직임을 측정하고, 이 후 히트맵(heatmap) 분석을 통해 평가과제 간 차이를 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 사람들은 매력도를 평가할 때와 비교하여 신뢰성을 평가할 때, 얼굴의 주요요소라 할 수 있는 눈과 코 부위에서 더 많은 시선응시가 일어나는 것을 관찰하였다. 또한, 실험 2에서는 참가자들이 실험 1과 동일한 얼굴 평가과제를 수행하는 동안 얼굴의 각 요소에 단어를 짧게 제시하였다. 실험종료 후 실시된 회상검사 결과, 신뢰성 평가과제 시 코부위에 제시되었던 단어의 회상률이 매력도 평가과제 시와 비교하여 유의미하게 높은 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얼굴 신뢰성 판단은 시각적인 주의적 자원(attentional resources)의 할당과 관련된 측면에서 얼굴 매력도와는 구분되는 정보처리과정을 거치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

        The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of hotel employees’ physical attractiveness on person-job fit and to empirically analyze whether self-esteem and self-efficacy play a mediating role in the causality between an employee’s physical attractiveness and person-job fit. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 345 employees and the data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The primary results were as follows: Multiple regression analysis showed that hotel employee physical attractiveness had a positive significant influence on self-esteem (β=.504, p<.001) and self-efficacy (β=.441, p<.001). Also, employee selfesteem (β=.281, p<.001) and self-efficacy (β=.478, p<.001) each had a positive significant influence on person-job fit. As a result of analyzing the mediating role, the effect of hotel employees' physical attractiveness on person-job fit was partially mediated by self-esteem and self-efficacy.

        The purpose of this study is to categorize the dimensions of the visual evaluation of the costume details of the retro romantic fashion and to research on the costume details and the visual evaluation by evaluators’ gender, age, and major, and on their preferences. Quantitative research were conducted for this study. Based on the pictures, 10 costume details were selected for the survey questions and data were collected. All 446 subjects who participated in this research were college students(males and females) residing in or near Seoul. Data were collected in September, 2008. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS which included: factor analysis, Cronbach’s α reliability analysis, three-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, one-way ANOVA, Duncan’s multiple range tests, and the t-test. The results of visual evaluation of retro romantic fashion are as follows: First, as a result of the factor analysis of the costume detail evaluation, five factors including attractiveness, decorativeness, cuteness, retro, and femininity surfaced. Second, the gender difference in the results of the research revealed that women rated decorative, cute, retro, and feminine characteristics higher than men did. Third, there were significant interactive effects in attractiveness and femininity depending on costume details and evaluators’ gender. Fourth, subjects majoring in fashion valued attractiveness and femininity of the stimulus over non-fashion majoring subjects. Fifth, there were significant differences in the preferences of costume details depending on gender.

        한 시대나 사회의 얼굴매력에 대한 관점을 영화배우 등 인기연예인의 얼굴분석을 통해 알 수 있다는 가정 하에 물리적 특징에 기반 한 한국 및 외국 연예인 얼굴 의 교차 문화적 특징 및 추세를 알아보았다. 얼굴인상감성모형을 이용하여 각 연예인얼굴의 물리적 특징을 측정하고 얼굴유형을 분류하였다. 분석대상은 한국의 여자연예인 47명, 남자연예인 47명, 외국 여자연예인 116명과 남자연예인 87명으로 총 297명이었다. 교차문화적인 분석에서 나타난 한국과 외국의 남녀 연예인 얼굴의 공통적인 특징은 날카로운 인상이었다.

        Male adults of bean bug, Riptortus clavatus Thunberg (Heteroptera: Alydidae), release aggregation pheromone (AP) attracting both sexes of adult and nymphs, which its egg parasite, Ooencyrtus nezarae (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) exploits the pheromone to find host. The AP consists of three components, (E)-2-hexenyl (Z)-3-hexenoate (E2HZ3H), (E)-2-hexenyl (E)-2-hexenoate (E2HE2H), and tetradecyl isobutyrate (TI). We analyzed composition of the pheromone components of bean bugs from different geographical locations of Korea and Japan. The attractiveness of different blends of AP components to R. clavatus was also tested in the fields in Jinju, Korea and in Kumamoto, Japan. Composition ratios (E2HZ3H: E2HE2H:TI) of the AP of Jinju and Iksan populations were 1:1.4:0.2 and 1:0.8:0.2, and those of Tsukuba and Kumamoto populations were 1:2.8:0.2 and 1:1.5:0.1, respectively. In field tests, traps baited with ratio of 1:1:1 (E2HZ3H:E2HE2H:TI = 16.7:16.7:16.7 ㎎/rubber septum) and 1:1:0.5 (E2HZ3H:E2HE2H:TI = 20:20:10 ㎎/rubber septum) attracted significantly greater number of adult bugs than that of 1:5:1 (E2HZ3H:E2HE2H:TI = 7.1:35.7:7.1 ㎎/rubber septum).

        대부분의 경영분석가들은 뷰티산업이 미래의 주요산업의 하나가 될 것이라고 예견하고 있다. 뷰티산업은 뷰티에 관련된 서비스와 상품을 포함하고 있는데, 이 시장에서의 경쟁은 더욱 치열해지고 있다. 뷰티 서비스와 뷰티 상품을 마케팅하기 위해서는 뷰티가 측정될 수 있어야 하지만, 실제적으로 뷰티를 측정할 수 있는 수단은 사실상 개발되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 Langmeyer and Shank(1994)의 연구를 바탕으로 인물의 매력을 단일의 차원이 아닌 다차원으로 규명하고자 하였다. 총 258명의 대학생 응답자를 대상으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원에 관련된 설문을 실시했고, 이를 바탕으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원을 도출하고, 뷰티 측정에 대한 관리적 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 수행된 정량적 분석에 기초하여 최종적으로 인물 매력에 관련된 4가지 뷰티 차원을 도출하였는데, 2개 차원은 인물의 내면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(역동적 성격, 배려)이었고, 나머지 2개 차원은 인물의 외면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(형상, 스타일)이었다. 또한 본 연구에서는 추가적으로 응답자 특성에 따라 아름다움 인식에 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 응답자 특성으로는 성별, 외적 아름다움의 인식 차이, 자신의 외모 만족도가 고려되었다. 분석결과는 자신의 외모 만족도와 아름다움의 인식 가치가 본 연구에서 도출된 아름다움 차원에 있어서 아름다움 인식에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주고 있다: 1)자신의 외모 만족도가 높은 경우 전반적으로 외모차원과 심성차원의 아름다움을 모두 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다, 2)아름다움의 인식 가치가 높은 경우 외면의 아름다움 차원을 내면의 아름다움 차원보다 상대적으로 더 긍정적으로 평가하는 것으로 나타났다.

        Sex pheromone blends of large black chafer, Holotrichia parallela (Motschulasky), which consist of a major component L-isoleucine methyl ester (LIME) and a minor component (R)-(-)-linalool, showed different attractiveness depending on the mixing ratios of the two components in potato fields in South Korea. The best ratio for H. parallela attraction was 2.5:1 of LIME and (R)-(-)-linalool. The attraction ability of pheromone traps bated with 2.5:1 ratio did not drop up to 14m, but significantly decreased at 21m from H. parallela release point. Korean population of H. parallela showed almost same periodical activity to sex pheromone with that reported in Japan, which showing a circabidian periodicity of 48h cycle.

        The effect of food source in aggregation pheromone trap of bean bug, Riptortus clavatus, was evaluated in terms of the trap attractiveness using water-pan and cylinder-type traps. Water-pan trap baited with pheromone+food (dried soybean+dried peanut+water) attracted significantly more number of females and males than those with pheromone or control trap. Although cylinder-type trap baited with pheromone+food did not show significantly higher attractiveness, it attracted more adults and nymphs than the pheromone and control traps. Further research on the effect of trap types on attractiveness is needed.
