본 연구에서는 울릉도 온실기체 관측장비(CRDS)에서 관측된 CO2와 CH4 농도를 정형화된 QA·QC 처리절차를 통해 온실기체 평균 배경대기 농도값으로 활용하기 위한 정확도를 향상시켰다. QA·QC 처리절차는 총 3단계로 구성되었다. 첫 번째는 관측자료의 시간별 평균값을 구하기 위한 물리적 한계검사, 기후범위 검사 및 1시간 측정 자료수가 50% 이하인 자료는 제외시키는 과정으로 이루어져 있다. 두 번째는 일평균자료 산출을 위한 단계검사, 앞뒤로 같은 값일 경우는 제외, 하루 중 관측횟수가 15회 이상 및 일관측 자료의 표준편차가 일표준편차 평균의 3배 이하인 자료만 허용하는 과정이다. 세 번째는 기후적 특성분석 활용을 위한 Curve-fitting methods를 이용한 FFT 적용단계이다. 이상의 QA·QC 절차에 의한 CO2 및 CH4의 월평균농도 값을 안면도 지구대기감시센터 자료와 일본 료리 관측자료와 비교 분석한 결과 CO2에 있어서는 울릉도 관측자료 누락에 의한 영향이 다소 크게 나타나 안면도 관측값이 배경대기 평균농도 값으로 유효하였고, CH4는 안면도 보다 오히려 울릉도 관측값이 한반도 배경대기 평균농도 값으로 더 적절한 것으로 추정되었다.

1980년대 이후 국내 하 폐수 처리시설에 대한 지속적인 투자로 하수도 보급률이 90%에 이를 만큼 비약적으로 확충되었다. 21세기 들어 물 부족에 대비한 대체수자원 확보, 기후변화 등 지구환경문제에 대비한 에너지 절감 및 생산, 하천 호소의 지속적인 수질개선 요구 등 사회적 환경적 영향 요소를 감안할 때 더욱 고도화된 선진 하 폐수 처리기술이 필수적이다. 신개념 처리기술은 수질유해물질 및 독성관리기술 등 초고도 처리기술, 맞춤형 재이용기술, 에너지 절감 회수 활용 기술을 유기적으로 조합 연계하는 기술이다. 이러한 선진 처리기술은 국내 수질환경개선은 물론 개도국을 중심으로 급성장세를 보이는 국제 환경시장에서의 경쟁력 확보의 토대가 될 것이므로 글로벌 탑 수준을 지향하는 하 폐수 고도처리 기술개발 사업에서는 상기 기술 분야를 중점 개발하고자 한다. 본 사업단은 방류수 고품질화. 재이용 기술 분야, 에너지자립 분야, 통합관리 분야로 구분, 향후 1단계 5개년(2011-2015) 사업을 본격 추진할 예정이다.

The α-proteobacterium Wolbachia pipientis infects a wide range of arthropods and filarial nematodes. Wolbachia is maternally inherited and is known to induce reproductive anomalies such as cytoplasmic incompatibility, feminization, male killing and parthenogenesis induction (PI). Trichogramma kaykai is a tiny wasp that parasitizes on lepidopteran eggs. When a female of the wasp is infected with PI-Wolbachia, the female produces female offspring via gamete duplication without the aid of sperm. As she ages, however, the fraction of male offspring increases. In this study, we investigated the effect of host genetic background on the expression of sex ratio between isofemale lines. Virgin females of six isofemale lines were allowed to lay eggs individually for 10 days. There was the positive relationship between female age and the offspring sex ratio. Furthermore, the sex ratio was significantly different among isofemale lines, implying that the host genetic background had an effect on the sex ratio. Based on the results, evolution of symbiosis in terms of sex ratio and future experimental design are discussed.

Most industrial accidents occur when the workers' unsafe behavior and the unsafe situation of workplace take place at the same time. Although human's unsafe behavior is indispensable to work field, the evaluation scheme to detect the causes for the accident resulted from human's unsafe behavior and counterplan should be prepared to prevent and reduce accident. To do this, we first classify the specific background factors in terms of human inner factor and environment factor and then develop the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model to analyze the background factors that affect the worker's unsafe behavior. We also develop a checklist to be able to evaluate the occurrence possibility of individual worker's unsafe behavior.

모션 정보를 포함한 비디오 영상으로 인해 컴퓨터 비젼 분야에서 비디오의 활용은 중요한 연구 분야가 되었다. 또한 실시간에서 사람 모션의 인식과 분석에 대한 관심의 증가하고 있다. 인간 모션 분석의 첫 단계는 비디오에서 움직이는 대상을 추출하는 것이다. 배경차를 이용한 방법은 가장 완전한 특징 데이터를 제공하지만, 조명과 외부 요인 때문에 환경 때문에 동적 장면 변화에 매우 민감하다. 이 연구에서는 적응적인 배경 조정을 사용하여 움직임 없는 배경 비디오에서 전경을 분할하고 검출하기 위한 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 배경 조정 영상과 모션 영상간의 배경 차이 방법에 의해 배경으로부터 전경을 결정한다. 마지막으로, 비디오에서부터 분할된 사람의 모션을 기반으로 몰입형 2D게임을 개발한다.

국내의 3D산업은 짧은 역사에 비해 빠른 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 특히 TV애니메이션을 위주로 한 다양한 장르의 3D애니메이션은 미국이나 유럽을 비롯한 해외에서 많은 호평을 받고 있으며, 캐릭터산업으로 이어져 수출을 주도하고 있다. 이러한 성장의 배경에는 창작품 위주의 제작방식, 국내의 제작인프라 구축, 국가의 정책적 지원 등을 이야기할 수 있다. 이러한 요인들은 국내 3D산업의 질적 양적 성장에 중요한 바탕이 되었다. 그리고 특히 중요한 것은 향후 몇 년의 시기는 추후 세계시장에서 일본의 2D애니메이션을 견재하여 해외 3D애니메이션 시장을 선점할 수 있는 중요한 시기임을 알아야 한다.

최근 구성주의 학습이론은 교육패러다임의 변화를 이론적으로 대변해 주고 실천적 대안을 제시해 줄 수 있는 교육에 있어서의 포스트모더니즘이라고도 불리며 객관주의에 상대되는 의미로 사용되기도 한다. 정보화 사회의 교육적 패러다임은 학습자 중심이다. 구성주의는 그러한 패러다임과 맥을 같이 함으로써 현재는 컴퓨터이용학습, 게임 기반학습, 교육용게임설계 등에 이론적 배경과 그 실천적 방안을 제시해주는 학습이론으로써 각광을 받고 있어 재미와 함께 교육성을 강조하는 교육용게임디자인연구에서도 연구가 필요하다. 이러한 구성주의 학습 이론을 고찰하고 사례를 살펴 결론적으로 시사점을 정리하여 체계적이고 교육성 있는 교육용 게임 디자인 연구 및 기획에 참고가 되고자 한다.

The paternal sex ratio (PSR) chromosome is considered as an extremely selfish genetic element. It has only been found in the two hymenopteran insects- Nasonia and Trichogramma- with haplodiploid sex determination. When an egg is fertilized by sperm bearing PSR, the paternal genome is destroyed by PSR soon after fertilization resulting in haploid restoration and the egg develops into a male with only the maternal genome and PSR itself. Recently PSR is paid much attention, since it may be used for controlling haplodiploid pests. PSR can be successfully transferred from its natural host, T. kaykai to the novel host, T. deion. In the two hosts another sex ratio distorter, Wolbachia, is found. Wolbachia is a cytoplasmically inherited bacterium that induces parthenogenesis in this genus resulting in female offspring production without fertilization. The transmission efficiency of PSR in T. deion is lower than that in T. kaykai and is negatively influenced by the Wolbachia infection. The results show that 1) there is a negative host genetic background effect on the transmission of PSR in the novel host, 2) the transmission efficiency becomes even lower, when PSR males are infected with Wolbachia. The results imply that complex interactions among the bacterium, PSR and the species specific genetic background.
