        전 세계적으로 실도로에서의 자율주행차 안전성능을 검증하고 자율주행 시스템 기술의 개발을 위해 다양한 실증을 수행하고 있다. 미국의 경우 캘리포니아, 오하이오, 애리조나 등 다양한 주에서 자율주행차의 실도로 테스트를 진행하고 있으며, 독일의 경우 페가수 스 및 이매진 프로젝트 등을 통해 자율주행 성능 및 협력 운행 테스트를 수행하였다. 그러나, 자율주행차의 주행 성능 측면의 평가에 국한되어 실증이 진행되고 있다는 한계가 존재한다. 실도로 환경에서 자율주행차는 비자율주행차, 보행자 및 자전거 등과 상호작용하 며, 다양한 도로 기하구조에서 주행안전성 저하 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 혼재교통상황에서 자율주행차의 주행 안전성을 저하시키는 도로 기하구조를 도출하였다. 또한, 캘리포니아 Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)에서 제시한 자율주행차 관련 사고자료 검토를 통해 유사한 도로 기하구조에서 발생할 수 있는 사고 유형을 검토함으로써 선제적인 대안을 마련하고자 한다. 시뮬 레이션 분석을 위한 자율주행차 거동구현의 경우 real-world automated vehicle data (AVD) 기반 주행행태 분석을 통해 VISSIM 파라미 터를 조정하였다. 위험구간 도출을 위해 평가지표를 선정하고 주행안전성 분석을 수행하였으며, 위험 구간의 도로 기하구조의 특성을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 위험구간의 도로 기하구조와 유사한 구간에서 발생한 실제 자율주행차 관련 사고 보고서를 검토함으로써 본 연구에서 도출된 위험구간의 도로 기하구조에서 발생할 수 있는 잠재적 사고 원인을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 향후 자율주 행차의 실도로 도입을 위해 선제적인 대책을 마려하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 나아가 자율주행차 안전성 향상을 위한 경고 정보 서비스 개발, 정보 제공 인프라 설치 우선순위, 도로 기하구조 개선 사업에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        Consumers around the world are increasingly categorized by parallel needs and similar longings which lead to an ever-more homogeneous global market (Chan, Li, Diehl & Terlutter, 2007; van Ittersum & Wong, 2010). The acceleration of global consumer assemblies has concurred with the occurrence and upsurge of global citizens and consumer cultures (Gao, Mittal & Zhang, 2015). Yet, many researchers still claim that cultural differences have to be considered to grasp buying customs of global (fashion) consumers (Tahmid, 2012). The rationale of this paper is to balance out this research gap and to contribute to the current debate of global vs. local (Cleveland, Papadopoulos & Laroche, 2011; Askegaard, Arnould & Kjelgaard, 2005; Arnett, 2002) fashion consumer lifestyle segments with joint or divergent dominant apparel purchase motivations. Motivational factors influencing apparel purchase behavior can be separated into rational, emotional (perceptional) and patronage motives (Diamond, 2005). In the main, Sproles & Kendall´s consumer characteristics approach (1986) provided the conceptual foundation of the present study of fashion consumption motivations (fashion referred to as apparel & clothing), partially modified to suit the peculiarities that mold fashion consumption. The total of 23 motivations is made up of 15 multi-item scales and 8 single items that complement the fashion-specific range of motivational drivers. Especially referring to fashion purchase motivations, countries like Germany and Austria (despite their prosperous market economies) have so far been markedly neglected and even for France, although universally recognized as the leading country for fashion, in-depth research on motivational parameters shaping individual shopping activities is scarce. Likewise, investigations on American (a nation with intense spending capacity) fashion purchase motivations are extremely seldom. The objective of this paper is threefold and expressed through the following three research questions: (1) What are important lifestyle cluster characterized by central fashion motivations? (2) Can representatives for each cluster be found in all countries? (3) Are there country specific differences which point to either global or local fashion consumer segments? The predefined set of fashion consumption motivations was put to test via an online quantitative consumer survey. The questionnaire was delineated in three languages, using a translation-back translation procedure and was thoroughly pre-tested. Altogether, 693 non-student individuals (482 females, 211 males; from 18 to 87 years of age) participated in the survey, equally distributed across countries, ages and gender among the four nations (despite the fact that quota sampling was used). Subjects were asked to evaluate the total of 23 fashion consumption motivations on a 7-point Likert scale. A factor analysis was conducted for each of the established multi-item scales (with a CA value of mostly above .70). Measurement Invariance (Steenkamp & Baumgartner 1998) across the four countries was assessed. Subsequently, a cluster analysis was carried out using the Ward algorithm, incorporating all 23 fashion consumption motivations to acquire a more detailed description of the consumer segments. Five consumer clusters were extracted through Elbow criteria: (1) pragmatic, socially-conscious, brand loyals (n= 195), (2) sustainable fashion shoppers (n=127), (3) detached fashion disinterested (n=128), (4) passionate, luxury-status fashion-leaders (n= 107), and (5) experiential fashion adventure-seekers (n=136). Country-wise, significant differences are manifested between the consumer segments, X²(12, 693) = 69.12, p=.000. Findings portend that consumers in all research countries can be allocated to one of the five clusters. This condition leads to the clear presumption that global consumer fashion consumer segments do exist. Nonetheless, some national divergences become evident. Particularly if a fashion brand or company intends to address a target group affiliating to the consumer cluster 1: pragmatic, socially-conscious, brand loyals, cluster 2: sustainable fashion shoppers or cluster 3: experiential fashion adventure-seekers, national differences need to be taken into consideration. Markedly, a pragmatic positioning appears to be most auspicious to target American and also French consumers whereas a sustainability and ethnocentric orientation seems to be substantially promising to reach German and also Austrian consumers, demonstrating that a complete standardization of a fashion firm´s positioning through the transnational appeal of dominant consumption motivations seems not yet to be advisable. Further implications, limitations and directions for future research are available upon request and will be addressed more thoroughly at the conference.

        3D프린팅 공법은 설계 데이터 및 제품의 특성에 따라 액체 또는 분말가루 형태의 폴리머, 금속 등의 재료를 사용한다. 3D프린팅 공법의 제조방식은 적층방식으로 입체구조물을 층층이 쌓아올려 3차원형상을 제조하는 방식을 말한다. 3D프린팅 기술은 30년(1980년대) 전에 개발된 기술이지만 최근 몇 년 사이에 업계의 관심이 집중되고 있다. 3D프린팅 기술의 적용범위는 기계 산업분야에서 의료분야, 항공 분야, 건설 및 토목분야 등으로 그 범위가 점점 확대되어가 고 있다 컨투어크래프팅(Contour Crafting)은 미국 남가주대학에서 15년(2000) 전에 세라믹재료를 이용하여 개발된 3D프린팅 공법이다. Trowel 구조를 도입하여 3D프린팅 공법의 핵심적 단점인 외부표면을 매끄럽게 하면서 3D자유형상을 제작하는 것이다. 현재의 이 공법은 시멘트를 이용 하여 구조물의 부가구성물뿐만이 아니라 전체구조물을 자동으로 만드는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 각층의 두께 및 폭이 일반 3D프린팅 공법과 비교할 수 없이 크고 넓게 함으로 건설 및 토목분야의 적용이 가능하다. 특히, 콘크리트재료를 이용하여 토목용 2차구조물 제작에 대한 기초적인 조사 및 개념을 상세히 설명된다

        하이테크놀로지를 여러 가지 다른 영역과 융합하고자 하는 노력이 다양한 연구 분야에서 시도되고 있으며, 스포츠웨 어를 개발함에 있어 운동선수의 운동능력을 향상시키기 위한 분야에 이러한 첨단 기술들이 도입되고 있다. 본 연구는 스포츠 훈련에 도움이 되는 동작 센싱 스마트 스포츠웨어를 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로서, 조정 동작 시 관절의 움직임 을 측정할 수 있는 동작 센서를 부착하기 위한 인체상의 최적 위치를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 일관된 동작을 반복적으로 수행할때 관절의 변화가 큰 조정을 대상 스포츠로 선정하였으며, 조정 선수의 대표 체급인 중량급과 경량급의 피험자를 선정하여 동작에 따른 피부의 변화율을 측정하여 체급별 차이를 분석하였다. 먼저, 3차원 모션캡처 시스템을 이용하여 조정 동작 시 등, 팔꿈치, 엉덩이, 무릎 부위의 피부 변화를 촬영하고, 각 마커 간 거리의 변화율을 분석함으로써 체급에 따른 차이를 보이지 않으면서 동작에 따라 피부의 변화가 큰 부분을 인체 상에 도시하였 다. 이를 바탕으로 동작 센싱용 스마트 스포츠웨어를 위한 센서 부착의 가이드라인을 제시하였다.

        PURPOSES: The demand for extending national highways is increasing, but traffic monitoring is hindered because of resource limitations. Hence, this study classified highway segments into 5 types to improve the efficiency of short-term traffic count planning. METHODS : The traffic volume trends of 880 highway segments were classified through R-squared and linear regression analyses; the steadiness of traffic volume trends was evaluated through coefficient of variance (COV), and the normality of the data were determined through the Shapiro-Wilk W-test. RESULTS : Of the 880 segments, 574 segments had relatively low COV and were classified as type 1 segments, and 123 and 64 segments with increasing and decreasing traffic volume trends were classified as type 2 and type 3 segments, respectively; 80 segments that failed the normality test were classified as type 4, and the remaining 39 were classified as type 5 segments. CONCLUSIONS : A theoretical basis for biennial count planning was established. Biennial count is recommended for types 1~4 because their mean absolute percentage errors (MAPEs) are approximately 10%. For type 5 (MAPE =19.26%), the conventional annual count can be continued. The results of this analysis can reduce the traffic monitoring budget.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in various fashion lifestyle segments’ perceived benefits and design preferences for outdoor clothing to improve the development of outdoor clothing. Data were collected by questionnaire from 600 subjects aged 30 years and over with experience purchasing outdoor clothing in the past year. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, and chi-square analysis were used for the data analysis. The results of this study were as follows. Four segments were identified based on fashion lifestyle: manifoldly conscious, sensation conscious, practicality conscious, and brand conscious. Perceived outdoor clothing benefits generated three dimensions, including premium brand, practicality, and functionality, and preferred image produced two factors, tasteful/refined and comfortable/casual. Significant differences were found in the purpose of purchasing outdoor clothing, perceived benefit, and image and t-shirt pattern design preference among the segments. The manifoldly conscious group had a higher tendency to pursue various benefits and images of outdoor clothing and to prefer t-shirt textile designs with foulards and stripes. The sensation conscious group considered fashion and individuality in daily life but not in outdoor clothing. The practicality conscious group showed a preference for simple and casual styles with functionality and foulard patterns for t-shirts. The brand conscious group tended to prefer a striking design to functionality. This study is expected to be used as preliminary data for merchandising planning of outdoor clothing.

        Research Context The term User Generated Content (UGC) refers to a wide range of consumers’ contributions shared through digital and social platforms. These contributions can take the form of blogs, articulated collections of images, homemade videos (or even “homemade advertising” campaigns) and various types of product reviews and product usage demonstrations (Berthon, Pitt, & Campbell, 2008; Fader & Winer, 2012). In a previous study, we reviewed the OECD (2007) official definition of UGC to encompass the evolving and more holistic nature of this phenomenon. We defined UGC as “content in the form of text, sound, visuals or videos, which has been created by or in collaboration with consumers and disseminated through social platforms across various digital and non-digital channels. UGC can be centered on a brand, product or service or revolve around a topic/issue of interest to the consumer. It can be either solicited as part of commercial or non-commercial initiatives or contributed spontaneously by the consumer” (Montecchi & Nobbs, 2012). Marketing managers are now facing a completely different landscape where the more traditional approaches to brand promotion “are giving way to a messy tangle of market-based communications consisting of multiple authors including customers, competitors, observers, employees, and interested collectives” (Muniz Jr. & Schau, 2011). In this context, UGC is a clear representation of how the balance of power and control has shifted from brands to consumers (Sheehan, 2010; Pires, Stanton, & Rita, 2006; Berthon, Pitt, Plangger, & Shapiro, 2012). Amongst the various sectors which have benefited from a constant growth of digital channels and consumers’ online engagement, the luxury industry has shown some astonishing results. After an initial skepticism, major luxury organisations have embraced digital channels from both a distribution and marketing communications perspective, following the success of online pure-players such as Net-A-Porter. With online sales projected to grow steadily, luxury brands need to learn how to engage more effectively with a new generation of hyper-connected customers by re-addressing the balance of power and control they want to manage. Purpose of the Research By building on Smith, Fischer, & Yongjian (2012) framework for the analysis of UGC, this research aims to map the features of brand related UGC across three social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) with a particular focus on the luxury product/market context. Through the analysis of a sample of brand-related digital contributions, a set of customer profiles will be constructed to highlight further targeting opportunities for luxury brands. Three brands operating at global level (Louis Vuitton, Rolex and Burberry) will be selected as the context of this investigation since these generate a significant level of consumers’ discussion and engagement on digital media. Methodology The research design is based on observational netnography and content analysis (Ertimur & Gilly, 2011; Kozinets, 2002). A sample of 100 consumers’ contributions for each brand, published on each of the three selected platforms, will be analysed for a total of 900 pieces of UGC. The framework which will be used for the analysis is derived from the research conducted by Smith, Fischer, & Yongjian (2012). It allows researchers to explore the level of customers’ self-presentation, the centrality of the brand in the content shared, whether there is an attempt to a brand-directed communication and associated responses and whether the content is more factual or emotional. The brand sentiment in each piece of content will also be measured. The results of this analysis will be used to construct a multi-dimensional set of customer profiles by building on the UGC typologies identified. This will provide luxury brands with an effective tool to enhance their market segmentation and targeting capabilities.

        본고는 효과적인 한자교육을 위하여 한자의 字體 변천과정에서 나타난 한자 字素의 변화 과정을 분석하고 현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 한자 자형인 楷書에서 나타난 자소들의 변이현상과 기본 규율을 정리하고자 한다. 또한 그 연구 결과를 한자교육의 현장에 적용함으로써 變異 字素들의 本義를 파악하지 못하여 발생하는 字形과 字義에 대한 혼란 해결을 그 목적으로 한다. 현재 中國에서 2001년부터 정책적으로 시행하고 있는 漢字 敎育 방법인 構形學은 說文解字의 小篆 構形 체계를 시작으로 전통적인 육서의 주요한 정신을 받아들여 근본적으로 육서의 부족한 점을 보충하였다. 構形學은 구조 기능 분석법을 이용하여 한자의 本義를 설명하고 시대별 字體 변화에 따른 자형 구조상의 규칙을 찾으려는 현대 한자학 이론이다. 한자의 字體를 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 효율적인 한자 자형 분석 방법을 찾으려면 構形學을 적용하여 字素를 정확히 분석하는 것이 기초적인 작업이라고 할 수 있다. 構形學에서 기본으로 삼고 있는 說文解字는 小篆의 字形을 중심으로 한자의 구조와 형태를 분석하여 ‘六書說’을 제시했다. 하지만 그 후로 한자는 隸書와 楷書로의 변천 과정을 거치면서 자형에 많은 변화가 있었고 심지어 楷書 중의 獨體字에서는 字體가 서로 점합하여 더 이상 獨體象形字의 결합으로 볼 수 없는 경우도 나타났다. 이러한 자형 변화의 과정에서 나타난 자소의 변이와 그 규칙성을 찾아내기 위해서는 說文解字의 六書說을 기본적인 이론으로 삼아야 할 것이다. 또한 字形을 정확히 분석하기 위해서는 시대에 따른 한자의 字體 변화를 참고하여 字形을 구성하는 각각의 구성요소를 분석해 낼 수 있어야 한다. 현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 한자는 隸變의 과정을 겪은 뒤의 자형이므로 古文字 계통과의 자형상 괴리가 심하여 한자를 교육하는 현장에서 느끼게 되는 혼란이 적지 않다. 이러한 제반의 문제들을 보완하고 교육현장에서 효율적 字形 교육을 실시함으로써 수많은 변이자소들로 인한 의미 파악의 혼란을 해결하는 것이 시급한 문제라고 생각한다.

        본 연구에서는 hard segment를 형성하고 있는 폴리우레탄을 합성한 다음 피혁산업에서 마감 코팅시 많이 사용되고있는 폴리에틸렌왁스의 적하량을 점차 증가시켜 필름 및 Lam skin에 코팅에 적용하여 변화하는 물성을 측정하였다. 내용제성 측정 결과 높은 내용제성 물성을 지닌 폴리우레탄 수지에 폴리에틸렌왁스의 함량에 따른 물성적 변화는 크게 나타나지 않았다. 인장 강도 측정치에서는 폴리우레탄 단독 필름의 측정치가 1.235 kgf/㎟로 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었으며, 폴리에틸렌왁스의 함량이 제일 높은 PUD-EW3가 가장 낮은 인장력 1.022 kgf/㎟를 나타내었다. 또한 내마모도 측정에서는 PUD가 제일 높은 52.22 5㎎.loss로 우수한 물성변화를 나타내었고, 연실율의 경우 역시 우레탄 단독 코팅인 PUD가 698%로 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었다.

        We report a procedure for direct shoot regeneration via leaf segments of Lilium Oriental hybrid ‘Casa Blanca’. The segments were cultured with the abaxial side in contact with a Murashige and Skoog medium containing 0.1 mg • L-1 BA and 0.1 mg • L-1 NAA, 3% sucrose, and 0.8% agar for shoot regeneration. The cultures were incubated for 4 weeks under a 16 hrs photoperiod at 23 ± 2oC for adventitious shoot regeneration. With this procedure, a mean shoot regeneration frequency of 88-90% and a mean number of shoots of 2.5-3.6 per segment were obtained. Ploidy analysis of the regenerated plants using flow cytometer revealed the same ploidy level (diploid) with mother plant. This study will be used for large-scale multiplication and genetic transformation system in lily.

        PURPOSES : Although numerous researches have been studied to reveal accident causations for road intersections, there are still many research gaps for road segments. It is mainly because of difficulty of data and lack of analytical method. This study aims to study accident causations for rural road segments and develop accident modification factors for safety evaluation. The accident modification factors can be used to improve road safety. METHODS : Methods for developing AMF are diverse. This study developed AMFs using accident prediction models and selected explanatory variables from the accident models. In order to select final AMFs, three different methods were applied in the study. RESULTS: As a result of the study, many AMFs such as horizontal curves or vertical curves were developed and explained the meanings of the results. CONCLUSIONS : This study introduced meaningful methods for developing significant AMFs and also showed several AMFs. It is expected that traffic or road engineers will be able to use the AMFs to improve road segment safety.

        그동안 다양한 도로설계 안전성 평가 연구는 교통사고다발지역인 교차로에 집중되어 왔다. 또한 도로구간에서는 특정한 기하구조 요인이 교통사고율에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구는 일부 수행되었으나, 도로구간에서의 안전성 평가를 위한 다양한 원인분석을 위한 연구는 여전히 미진한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 지방부 도로구간에서의 안전성 평가를 위해 도로구간을 지방부 2차로 도로와 다차로 도로구간으로 구분하여 통계적 기법을 적용하였다. 일반적으로 도로구간에서의 교통사고는 "0"의 빈도가 높게 나타나므로 통계적 분석 시에 이를 고려해야만 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사고의 비선형적 요소를 설명하는 허들모형이 전통적인 포아송 및 음이항모형보다 도로구간에서의 발생하는 교통사고의 성격을 설명하는데 더욱 적절한 것으로 판단하여 분석을 시작하였다. 본 연구에서는 지방부 도로구간에서의 사고빈도 예측모형 개발 및 도로구간 안전성 평가를 위해서 지방부 2차로 도로구간과 다차로 도로구간으로 구분하였으며, 모델분석결과 교통사고를 유발시키는 변수가 각각의 유형에 따라 서로 다른 것으로 분석되었다.

        Recently, the genome of Spodoptera litura granulovirus (SlGV) which encodes 133 putative open reading frames (ORFs) was completely sequenced. In this study, to screen novel insecticidal genes of SlGV, we first constructed an advanced plasmid capture system, pPCS-TPI, which contains not only pUC19 ori and ampicillin resistance gene but also Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) ORF603 and ORF1629 homologous region between Tn7L and Tn7R. In order to introduce genomic segments of SlGV into the genome of AcMNPV, genomic DNA of SlGV was digested with EcoRI and self-ligated. These self-ligated segments were in vitro transposed with the pPCS-TPI donor by the help of TnsABC* transposase. By this, 10 EcoRI-digested genomic segments of the SlGV were cloned, and these clones were co-transfected with the bApGOZA DNA into sf9 cells to generate corresponding recombinant virus, respectively. The resulting recombinant viruses harboring genomic segments of the SlGV could be used to investigate the insecticidal activity and/or other functions originated from the introduced genomic segments of the SlGV.

        We amplified D1 and D3 expansion segments of the 28S ribosomal RNA from 10 Suanguina moxae populations found in Korea. The amplification of the D1-D3 expansion segments of 28S gene of all populations tested produced a single PCR product approximately 1.03kb in size, suggesting the lack of D1-D3 expansion region size polymorphism among populations. The secondary structure model of 28S expansion segments D2 and D3 for Subanguina Moxae was predicted based on free energy minimization with comparative sequence analysis and new sequence alignment was conducted based on predicted secondary structure model. The predicted model was compared with previous predicted models of plant and animal parasite nematode. This predicted secondary structure model will provide valuable information to allocate positional sequence homology and reconstruction of reliable phylogenetic trees.

        The subfamily Hoplolaiminae included economically important plant parasitic nematodes and consisted of more than 400 species, all having the diagnostic characters of a strongly annulated cuticle and a large stylet. Among the Hoplolaiminae genera, the genus Hoplolaimus species include species such as H. columbus, and H. galeatus that cause serious damage to crops and turf grass in the Southeastern United States. Traditional identification of species has been approached by interspecific variation of phenotypic traits that rely on morphological and morphometric characters. However, these taxonomic criteria are sometimes not practical because of their limited ability to discriminate species among closely related groups due to overlapping of important taxonomic characters. The exact species identification is needed to control target nematode and also quarantine. Therefore, genetic studies for development of molecular diagnostics, population biology, and disease management are required. In recent years, many molecular diagnostic methods have been used for the identification of plant parasitic nematodes. Advanced molecular techniques have been used that test traditional identification methods. In our studies, Hoplolaimus species showed that high genetic divergence in rDNA sequence is combined with low morphological diversity. Based on genetic information, we developed multiplex PCR for H. columbus, H. galeatus, and H. magnistylus and successfully amplified mixed populations. In molecular phylogeny, the subfamily Hoplolaiminae is an important out‐group of the Heteroderidae, a notorious plant parasite nematode group. Molecular phylogeny of the Hoplolaiminae will help us understand of pathways of pathogenesis. In our phylogenetic analysis using D2 and D3 expansion segments of 28S gene, the molecular data supported morphological based taxonomic schemes. To reconstruct more reliable phylogenetic analysis, correct assignment of each nucleotide within multiple sequence alignment is an important step. Sequence alignments based on secondary structure have been proposed as new alternative methods to obtain this goal. We predicted the secondary structure of D2 and D3 domain using computational predictions method such as the minimization energy method and comparative sequence analysis (co‐variation). Predicted secondary structure included 18 species with two outgroup species, Globodera rostochiensis, Rotylenchulus reniformis. Consensus secondary structure was obtained from closely related and distantly related species. Phylogenetically informative characters were distributed in the stem region (86.7%). These results support the effectiveness of stem and loop regions for phylogenetic analysis of the Hoplolaiminae.

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of perceptual training of American English front vowel sounds /i, I, ε, æ/ on the production by comparing two teaching methods: perceptual training and audiolingual method. Subjects were 10 students enrolled in a language program at Arizona. They were randomly assigned into an experimental and a control group. The perception and production test were conducted to assess the subjects’ development of accuracy, and one hour and half training sessions are carried out with no explicit production practice for the experimental group and with the audiolingual teaching method for the control group for a total period of three weeks. The results for the post-test revealed that there was no significant difference between the groups. However, it should be emphasized that the experimental group, who went through the perceptual training without being forced to produce, resulted in better improvement both in perception and production in comparison to the control group when observed pre and post test. In addition, the results revealed that there is a positive co-relation between perception and production.

        Diamond tools were fabricated by cold pressing and sintering under pressure at the temperature up to . Investigation of the microhardness behaviour of the segments was showed that increasing the cobalt ratio causes the increase of the hardness of the matrix material. This caused to decrease of the wear rate of the matrix. Because the matrix wears more slowly than the diamonds, the space between the cutting edges and the matrix is constantly reduced. The swarf cannot be carried away properly, and the segment will continuously lose its ability to cut with higher cobalt contents.

        Diamond segments were fabricated by cold pressing and sintering under pressure at the temperature up to . Based on the results of this investigation, it can be concluded that the segments containing 39wt.% cobalt in the matrix material have the highest bending strength at a fracture probability of 50 % due to the weibull distribution method. According to the weibull statistics, it was also determined that the transverse rupture strength was the best for 39 wt.% cobalt ratio in the matrix material for the fracture probability when the other variables are the same.
