최근 발생되는 재난의 추이를 살펴보면 기후변화에 따른 자연재해 발생빈도가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따른 피해 규모 추세가 대형화로 변화되고 있다. 대규모로 진행되고 있는 도시화와 고도의 산업화로 인해 도시개발 지역의 확대와 중첩 영향으로 대형 자연 재난이 발생하여 도시시설물에 직접적인 손실이 발생하고 있다. 옥외광고물의 무분별한 설치로 도시의 미관훼손은 몰론 강풍으로 인 한 파손 및 추락 등의 사고가 빈번히 발생하는 실정이다. 이러한 피해는 강풍에 취약한 옥외광고물의 내풍설계 기준의 미비가 가장 큰 요인으로 인식되는데 풍하중 반영한 옥외광고물 설치는 전문지식이 필요한 분야로 중소규모의 옥외광고사업자가 대부분인 국내 현실 과는 괴리가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 전국에서 이용할 수 있는 풍하중을 안전성 관점에서 산정하였고, 이를 바탕으로 옥 외광고물 설치 고정자재 수 등을 산정할 수 있는 내풍표준 가이드라인을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the typography of the language used on signboards with a focus on the typographical norms and to make policy recommendations that consider exactly which factors are evaluated when approaching this 'signboard language' as a target of language policy. most of the studies related to signboard language have classified signboard language as an object of purification based on the actual condition survey of signboard language using quantitative research. This study takes a different approach to try and examine which factors should be considered before classifying signboard language as an object of purification in the normative aspect. To this end, this study investigated the actual condition of signboard language markings on the Hangeul Sign Street in Insa-dong and interviewed a business owner who had experience signboard posting. Through the interview with the business owner, the producer of the signboard language, this study was able to find clues about the value of sign language-related transcription norms to the business owner and the direction of the language policy on the signboard language. In an interview with the sign language owner I tried to find clues about the value of the signboard language and the direction of the language policy toward the signboard language and looked at various factors to consider.

Paldalmun gate was built in 1794 as the southern gate of Suwon Hwaseong. The signboard’s paintworks of Paldalmun gate was applied to the signboard of the state-run building in the 18th century. The signboard of Paldalmun gate was repainted along with the building when repaired in 1969. In that time, the signboard’s paintworks during the reign of Jeongjo era was transformed. The purpose of this study is to restore the image of Jeongjo era paintworks on the Paldalmun’s signboard, which has been modified since the 1960s due to modification. For the purpose of the examination, we examined the traces of paintworks remaining on the signboard of Paldalmun gate and examined several state-run signboards decorated with ‘Yukhwamoon’ paintings similar as the signboard of Paldalmun gate, which made around the 18th century. Through the above-mentioned researches, typical color features were identified in the decorated with ‘Yukhwamoon’ paintings on signboard in the 18th and 19th centuries. In addition, the type of pigment used in the signboard’s paintwork of Paldalmun gate was verified through the 『Hwaseong Seongyeok Uigwe(華城城役儀軌)』 and the 『Han-gul Jeongri Uigwe(한글整理 儀軌)』, while analyzing the characteristics of age-related deterioration according to the type of paintworks in various traces of pigment coatings remaining on the signboard of Paldalmun gate.

Each municipality is promoting signboard improvement projects, but the effectiveness is not great. The main reason for this is that when the signboard is manufactured the location of the shop is only dependent on the visual aspiration effect and it is not harmonized with the building by applying uniform design. The signboard are installed almost everywhere in the city, such as residential, natural and commercial environments. And the signboard provides various services such as traffic information and life safety to customers. Also, by applying design and functional elements, we can enhance the competitiveness of companies and improve the urban environment by enhancing the mutual connection effect of customers and space. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of design elements and functional elements of the signboard on customer preference. In other words, we conducted surveys and analyzes of 152 specialists and non-experts (customers, self-employed). As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the functions and design elements of signboards are important factors that have a positive effect on customer preference. Second, the function of the signboard has a positive(+) influence on the customer preference, and the information providing function and the corporate image side function directly affect the customer preference. Third, color elements have a positive(+) meaningful effect on customer preference. Especially, similar color sign affects customer preference positively. Fourth, the signboard design component has a positive(+) significant effect on customer preference. In particular, typefaces have a positive effect on customer preference.

허목許穆(1595(선조 28)∼1682(숙종 8)은 본관이 양천陽川, 자는 문보文甫·화보和甫등이고, 호는 미수眉叟〮.태령노인台嶺老人이 다. 허목은 당시 보기 드문 개성적인 자가풍의 전서를 활용해 많은 작품을 남김으로써 후인들이 그의 이런 전서를 두고 ‘미 전眉篆’이라고 칭하였으며, 전서로는 ‘동방제일’이라는 평가를 얻었다. 그의 학문은 고학古學이고, 문장은 고문古文이며, 서예 는 고서古書라고 할 수 있다. 허목은 삼대치도三代治道의 이상향을 미전眉篆으로 표현하였 고, 삼대三代를 동경하며 그 때와 같은 태평성대가 실현되기를 기대하였다. 특히 자신이 만든 미전眉篆을 고집한 이유도 여기 에 있었다. 그러나 당색에 따라 그의 전서를 위전僞篆으로 폄 하하기도 하고, 가치를 높이 평가하기도 하였다. 특히 경북지역 에 산재되어 있는 허목의 전서현판은 빼어난 조형성과 역사성 을 지니고 있음에도 불구하고 서예사적으로 제대로 평가받지 못하고 있는 실정이고 지금까지 상세히 연구된 적이 없었다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 경상북도에 산재되어 있는 허목의 미전 으로 걸린 현판을 살펴봄으로써 한국서예사 자료보강에 일조하 고 ‘미전眉篆’의 예술적 가치를 되짚어 보는데 의미를 두었다. 허목의 경북지역 전서를 다루기에 앞서 우선 허목의 생애와 학 통을 검토하였다. 왜냐하면 삶과 학통은 한 사람의 학문성향과 예술환경을 좌우하기 때문이다. 그 결과 한강 정구와 퇴계에 이르는 학통에 따라 경북지역 성리학자들과 교류가 있었고, 그 들의 서원이나 별당 혹은 사랑채에 허목의 미전이 걸리게 되었 다는 것을 밝혀내었다. 아울러 당색에 따라 호불호가 나뉘었던 17세기 시대환경에 따라 동색同色의 선비들의 거소居所에 다수 의 미전이 걸렸다는 것도 파악할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 경북지 역 명가들의 서원, 사랑채, 별당에 걸린 허목의 전서현판의 내 용과 예술적 격조를 살펴봄으로써 그 동안 가려졌던 그의 예술 적 위상을 가늠해 볼 수 있었다. 봉화의 충재 권벌의 별당에 걸린 <청암수석>현판은 미수의 절필작絶筆作으로 밝혀졌고, 미전의 최종예술성을 지닌 작품으 로 천진한 품격을 보여주어 주목되었다. 영천의 완귀 안증의 정자인 완귀정에 걸린 <완귀정>현판은 주변의 정경과 어울리 게 문자의 편방을 재구성하였고, 각 문자에 맞으면서 전체 장 법을 고려한 예술성을 지니고 있다. 안동 하회마을 서애 류성 룡의 종택에 걸린 <충효당>현판은 이 건물의 당호이며, 서애 의 유시遺詩[후세에 전하다]에서 강조한 충忠자와 효孝자를 넣 어서 만든 현판이다. 충과 효를 강조한 내용을 살리면서도 경 직되지 않고 변화를 모색한 필획미를 느낄 수 있다, 성주의 회 연서원은 미수의 스승을 기리기 위해 지어진 건물이다. 스승을 대하듯이 운필에서 멋과 변화를 줄여 절제되고 정제된 분위기 를 드러낸다. <옥설헌>현판의 옥[귀하게 여김]玉자에 좌우로 길게 드리워진 대칭획이 일품이며, 장법에 있어서도 안정과 대 칭을 중시한 점이 살펴진다. 이와 같이 미전眉篆이 유독 많이 남아있는 경북지역 허목의 전서현판을 통해 한국서예사의 자료발굴에 일조하고, 미전眉篆 의 예술성에 대해서도 접근해 보았다. 아울러 자신만의 독특한 작품을 통해 한국서예의 새로운 면모를 개척한 허목에 대한 재 평가와 후속연구가 이어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구는 전주의 한옥마을을 전통문화 중심도시로 육성시키기 위해서 진행하였던 간판정비 사업을 중심으로 내용을 정리하였다. 전체구성 방법은 표준화 디자인에 있어서 활용과 설명방법 그리고 각종 사인물에 있어서 올바른 설치 방법을 제시하기 위해 사인디자인 적용과 기본방향을 조사하였다. 설문조사에 있어서는 전주시 시민과 외부인 그리고 한옥마을에 주거하는 주민 등 600명을 대상으로 한옥마을의 일반적 특성, 한옥마을의 정보습득과 이동성 그리고 한옥마을의 간판 규제와 범위 등 3분야로 나누어 설문을 진행하였다. 위의 조사결과를 바탕으로 전주한옥마을에 있어서 디자인 컨셉과 세부적인 간판 적용방법을 규정하였고 사인물 디자인에 대한 픽토그램과 전통 한옥에 있어서 사인물 설치 방법을 제시하였다. 전주한옥마을에 대한 사인물 정비의 행정적 절차 규정에 있어서는 전주시와 간판 광고업자, 한옥마을 심의위원회, 지역주민의 상호협력 방법 등 행정적으로 사업 진행을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 전주한옥마을 사인디자인 사업진행 방향을 종합하였고 관련 담당부서와 협의를 통해 앞으로 전주한옥마을을 전통과 역사가 잘 보존된 지역으로서 육성 발전할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하였다.
