        SAFE damper is a hybrid damper which is comprised of a friction damper and a metallic damper. These two dampers combine to resist external energy in stages. Under minor earthquake loads, the friction damper operates alone. However, the friction damper and metallic damper dissipate the energy together when a severe earthquake occurs. In comparison with other methods for seismic retrofitting, the SAFE damper has many advantages. The SAFE damper doesn’t cause damage to façade of the building, and the construction period can be reduced when retrofitting. This paper describes experiments evaluating the structural performance of the SAFE damper. From the results, it was found that the structural performance of a conventional RC bare frame can be significantly improved by the installation of the SAFE damper.

        우리나라 농가용 도정기의 구조요인과 도정성능을 분석하기위하여, 판매되고 있는 농가용 도정기 29개 모델을 이용하여제현장치와 정미장치로 분류하였고, 각 장치별로 구조적 특징을 조사하였고 그 결과를 바탕으로 성능요인을 분석하였다.제현장치는 임펠러 회전속도가 주요 구조적 요인으로 조사되었으며, 4,800rpm의 임펠러 회전속도가 65.5%로 가장 많이사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 회전속도에서 탈부율이99.45%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 현미동할립율이 가장 낮게 나타나 제현성능에 가장 좋은 임펠러의 회전속도는 4,800rpm인것으로 분석되었다(p<0.05). 정미장치는 로터 선속도가 주요구조적 요인으로 조사되었으며, 2m/s의 로터 선속도가 60.1%로 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 선속도에서도정수율이 75.07%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 유실곡비율과 싸라기율이 각각 0.02%, 7.06%로 가장 낮게 나타나 정미성능에가장 좋은 로터의 선속도는 2 m/s인 것으로 분석되었다(p<0.05).

        The stone pagoda of Mireuk temple site is currently restoring through the repairing process. This stone pagoda has the various construction types in the inner and outer space. Therefore, the stress concentration and structural behavior need to be considered through the analysis of various construction patterns. To this end, this study presents the structural modelling and analysis considering the discrete element analysis technique to solve the discontinuum behavior between the stone elements. Also, this study performs the structural performance evaluation through the various design variables for the safety of stone pagoda. Through the analysis results, we can find out the small stress concentration in the several members. But, because the stresses and displacements are relatively small, we can secure the safety of the whole structure.

        Main topics in this study is a new structural detail for connection between H-Steel or SRC column and flat plate slab. We carried out to evaluate the punching shear performance of H-steel or SRC column + RC slab system for vertical load and lateral load. From the test results structural characteristics - yield moment, yield rotation, maximum moment, deformation capabilities ect. - are obtained and evaluated. In this paper as a shear reinforcement for supporting region of plate closed stirrup type and shear band are used, and their test results are compared.

        Recently, environmental problems associated with the excessive use of fossil fuel are hot issue throughout the world. As an alternative energy resource, the importance of renewable energy is continuously rising. Especially, growth rate of photovoltaic energy generation is one of the best. In this paper, floating PV generation system made of pultruded fiber reinforced polymeric plastic (PFRP) is discussed. It is well known that PFRP has many advantages such as high corrosion resistance, high specific strength/stiffness, etc. Compared with conventional construction materials. To investigate the structural behavior under flow induced dynamic loading, members and connections of members are tested under cyclic loading. It was found that the structural system is strong enough to resist such a cyclic loading.

        건설현장에서 조적, 미장, 방수, 타일 등 습식공사는 대부분의 작업들이 인력에 의해 공사가 이루어지고 있다. 공사를 위해 다뤄지는 자재들도 인력에 의해 운반 및 시공되 는 경우가 많아 작업자들은 여러 가지 안전사고의 위험에 노출된다. 안전한 작업환경 을 만들기 위해서는 작업공정을 단순화 하고 사용하는 자재와 장비도 경량화하여야 한다. 특히 벽돌과 콘크리트 블록 쌓기와 같은 조적공사시 사용하는 철근콘크리트 인 방보는 중량이 무겁고, 현장에서 제작시 시간도 많이 소요된다. 따라서 이번 연구를 통하여 무거운 콘크리트 인방보 대신 벽돌을 압축재로 사용할 수 있는 합성구조 인방 보 형상을 연구함으로써 가볍고 경제적인 강재인방보 구조형상을 제시하고자 한다.

        The demand for the structural system of reduction in story height increases because buildings are getting higher. The existing method of construction is not efficiency. Thus, it is hard to reduce the story height and this method cannot secure economics as expected. This study aims at developing the partially concrete-filled new type composite beam, which can efficiently resist against the negative moment and positive moment, for the reduction of deflection. Through case studies on loading of concentrated load and uniformly distributed load to fixed beam, we could find the most efficient ratio of moment of inertia. Consequently the gap space between middle and end beam can be used as facilities installation, moreover the suggested Omega beam system is expected to get the effect of reduction in story height as well as reduction of quantity.

        Structural insulated panels, structurally performed panels consisting of a plastic insulation bonded between two structural panel facings, are one of emerging products with a viewpoint of its energy and construction efficiencies. These components are applicable to fabricated wood structures. In Korea, there are few technical documents regulated structural performance and engineering criteria in domestic market. This study was conducted to identify fundamental performance of both monotonic load and quasi static cyclic load for SIPs in shear wall application. Static test results showed that maximum load was 44.3kN, allowable shear load was 6.1kN/m, shear stiffness was 1.23 M N/m, and ductility ratio was 3.6. Cyclic test was conducted by two kinds of specimens : single panel and double panels. Cyclic test results, which were equivalent to static test results, showed that maximum load was 45.42kN, allowable shear load was 6.3kN/m. Furthermore the accumulated energy dissipation capability for double panels was as 2.3 times as that for single panel. From performance of structural tests, it was recommended that the allowable shear load for panels was at least 6.1kN/m.

        비정형 초고층 구조물은 골조 직교성이 해제되고, 형상이 복잡해 기존 설계방식보다 많은 문제점이 발생된다. 비정형성으로 인한 문제점은 설계안을 지속적으로 변경시켜 프로젝트의 효율성을 저하시킨다. 또한 해외프로젝트의 경우 해당업체 간혹은 해당국가 간 의견차로 국내보다 더욱 많은 변경상황이 발생되고 있다. 따라서 지속적인 변경상황에 전산플랫폼을 사용할 경우 효율적으로 설계변경업무에 대처할 수 있다. 파라메트릭 기반의 전산플랫폼인 StrAuto를 이용할 경우 최적의 구조 설계대안을 신속히 선정할 수 있다. 특히 StrAuto는 비선형 내진성능평가를 위한 해석 툴 간의 신속한 모델링 연동도 효율적으로 가능하다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 지진하중 변경에 따른 전산플랫폼을 이용한 내진성능평가 프로세스를 현재 구조설계가 진행 중인 몽골지역 최고층 빌딩 프로젝트에 적용하고 검증하려 한다.

        The construction of a moment connection for a rectangular hollow section (RHS) column and a H-shaped beam is difficult because the RHS is a closed section. When a inner diaphragm is used for such a connection, in general, it is installed after cutting the HSS columns, which results in increased construction work. This paper suggests a new fabrication method to overcome such problems: An inner diaphragm is welded to inside a C-shaped section first, and then a column is fabricated by welding two C-shaped sections. This fabrication method is superior to a classic method in terms of constructibility. An experimental and a numerical study using Ansys 9.0 were performed in order to compare the strength of connections with respect to the presence of concrete, the corner shape of diaphragm, and the axis of loading. The experimental results including initial stiffness and ultimate loads are reported and the analytical results including load transfer mechanism, degree of stress concentration, and strain distribution are also reported.

        본 논문에서는 상온 및 방사선 경화 복합재 풍력 블레이드의 구조성능을 비교하기 위하여 단면 강성, 정적응력 및 동적 고유 진동수를 해석하였다. 먼저 상온 및 방사선 경화공정에 의한 복합재료 시편의 탄성계수 등 물성 값을 적용하였다. 블 레이드의 단면 강성 값은 고형 복합재료 보 이론을 적용하여 유한요소 적분법으로 계산하였다. 허브 체결부위를 포함한 소형 풍력 블레이드를 상용 유한요소 프로그램으로 모델링하여 최대 변위와 응력분포 등을 확인하였다. 또한, 풍력 블레이 드의 회전속도에 따른 원심력 효과를 고려하여 고유 진동수 해석을 병행하였다. 이와 같은 일련의 해석결과를 상호 비교 함으로써, 상온 및 방사선 경화 복합재료의 물성 값 차이에서 기인하는 풍력 블레이드의 구조성능 변화를 정량적으로 분 석하였다.

        Structure Insulated Panel (SIP) is an wooden structure material with which structure and insulation functions are satisfied. Hence, it would be a cost-effective model to implement low energy house which has higher insulation and structure performance and which the wall thickness is able to be reduced. In this study, performance of thermal insulation and fire resistance were evaluated in order to verify applicability to low energy house. Fire resistance test is performed on vertical load bearing members for partitions, and the test results satisfy one hour of fire resistance condition according to KS F 2257. The members include two layers of fireproof gypsum board with thicknesses of 12.5mm attached to SIP. Thermal insulation performance is satisfied with the 2012 standard (0.225W/㎡·K). As the performance of resistance and thermal insulation are satisfied, SIP is expected to be applied to low energy building materials. In the future, the structural safety will be confirmed by structural performance and seismic performance test and the guidelines for distribution will be drawn up.

This study was conducted to suggest fundamental reports such as racking resistance, axial capacity, transverse load capacity, and lintel load capacity for SIPs. Test results showed that maximum load was 44.3kN, allowable load was 14.7kN for racking resistance, and that maximum load was 137.6kN, allowable load was 37.4kN/m for axial compression capacity. For transverse load capacity, test results showed 10.3kN/㎡ of maximum load, 3.4kN/㎡ of allowable load. For lintel load capacity for SIPs dependent to lengths, allowable loads were 20.4kN for 600㎜ long lintel, 23.9kN for 1,200㎜ long lintel, 19.3kN for 1,800㎜ long lintel, and 2,400㎜ long lintel had 14.1kN of allowable load. In the near future, when the allowable load for wall application is established, SIPs is considered to substitute the existent post-and-lintel construction to bearing wall structure.

        This study is related to evaluate the performance of structural insulated panels. This panel plays a role as structural member and insulation simultaneously. This study is focused to test the racking shear capacity and axial compression capacity based on ASTM E-72 and KS F2273. The test result shows the panels are applicable to the required load sufficiently.

        This paper describes an evaluation of the in-service structural performance of a glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) slab bridge. This first all-GFRP slab bridge was installed in Korea on May 2002. The GFRP slab bridge is a simply supported, its length is 10.0 m, and is designed to carry two-lane traffic and has an overall width of 8.0m. The GFRP slab bridge is a sandwich structure with a corrugated core, fabricated by hand lay-up process with E-glass fibers and vinyl ester resins. The assessment of in-service performance for the GFRP slab bridge in 2004, 2011 includes a field load testing identical to that performed in 2002. The assessment indicates that the GFRP slab bridge has no structural problems and is structurally performing well in-service as expected.

        본 논문의 1편에서는 레저선박의 실시간 선체구조모니터링시스템을 개발하기 위하여 도파로 어레이격자(AWG, Arrayed Waveguide Grating)와 광섬유 브래그격자센서(FBG, Fiber-optic Bragg Grating)를 이용한 선체구조모니터링시스템의 설계 및 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 본 연구에서는 레저선박의 구조취약부의 실시간 모니터링을 위하여 광섬유센서 데이터의 측정 및 분석을 고속으로 처리할 수 있도록 시스템을 최적화하였으며, 레저선박의 선체구조안전모니터링을 위하여 레저선박의 선체 주재료인 FRP와 알루미늄 시편을 대상으로 재료 특성에 대한 기 초 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 30feet 및 60feet급 세일요트의 알루미늄 마스트에 개발된 시스템을 적용하여 하중변화에 따른 변형률 특성 확인 및 레저선박의 선체구조안전성 평가를 위한 기초 연구를 수행하였다.

        Recently, a market of architecture is requiring buildings of long spanned structures as most buildings become taller and larger. For being long spanned structures, elements of buildings must be light. As an alternative proposal, various hollow-core slabs and flat plate salbs were developed and used frequently in the inside and outside of the country. But the study of the hollow-core slabs using deck plate and assembly of light weight is the first. In the present study, Flexural and vibration tests were performed on the hollow-core slabs using deck plate and assembly of light weight to investigate the flexural behavior and serviceability. Four test specimens were used for test parameters; one hollow-core slab with an assembly of light weight, and three hollow-core slabs with deck plate and an assembly of light weight. The test parameters also included amount of tension bar and existence of shear reinforcement. The test results showed that the hollow-core slabs with deck plate and an assembly of light weight had a crack of shear, so shear reinforcement must be conducted.

        In this study, We evaluated structural performance of SRC Column using square steel tube. the parameter is a pre-axial load for inner CFT column. ABAQUS 6.9.3 was used for analysis. The results from this study show that the pre-axial load for inner CFT column does not affect to structural performance of the SRC column using square steel tube. And, a experimental test is needed to investigate the results of this study.

        We evaluated structural performance of Frame for uniformly distributed load to micro piles which was arranged in a line. We predicted behavior and load distribution with Abaqus which is general finite analysis program. And Structrual experiment was conducted using full scale test model.
