        본 연구는 경로당을 이용하는 노인들을 대상으로 ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램을 적용하여 활력, 치매두려움 및 치매예방행위에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 프로그램 구성은 주 2회, 6주, 회기당 30분 분량으로 총 12회차이며 단일군 전후 실험설계이다. 자료분석은 기술통계, Paired t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient를 이용하였다. ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램은 경로당 노인의 활력과 치매예방행위를 증가시키고, 치매두려움은 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램을 경로당 이용노인의 치매예방를 위해 실무현장에서 활용할 것을 권장한다.

        Deep geologic repositories (DGR) are designed to store spent nuclear fuel and to isolate it from the biosphere for an extended period of time as long as millions of years. The long-term performance of the DGR replies on the performance of the natural geologic barriers after the end of the lifetime for the engineered barrier systems. Typically, multiple analytical and numerical models are used to analyze and ensure the safety of the repositories along both engineered and natural barrier systems. Despite the immense advancement in computing power and modeling techniques over the last few decades, a series of models and their linkage often require many simplifying assumptions in this safety assessment. The degree of the reliability and confidence of the safety analysis is thus highly dependent on the validity of those tools used. Considering the significance of the DGR performance and public attention, the highest level of quality control is necessary for the models employed in the assessment. The performance of the ultimate long-term geologic barrier is determined by the expected travel time of the radioactive species of interest, the level of their dilution or radioactivity at compliance areas, and the uncertainty associated with them. As the species of interest can be carried away from the repository location by groundwater flow, the travel time is determined by groundwater velocity along the flow path from source to biosphere while the dilution is a function of the decay and production rates as well as the diffusion and dispersion. Due to the time scale and the complexity of the physicochemical processes and geologic media involved, the models used for safety evaluation will need to become more and more comprehensive, robust, and efficient which is difficult to achieve in principle. They will also need to be transparent and flexible to satisfy the regulatory quality control requirements. This study thus attempts to develop an accessible, transparent, and extensible integrated hydrologic models (IHM) which can be widely accepted by the regulators as well as scientific community and thus suitable for current and future safety assessment of the DGR systems. The IHM can be considered as a tool and a framework at the same time when it is designed to easily accommodate additional processes and requirements for the future as it is necessary. The IHM is capable of handling the atmospheric, land surface, and subsurface processes for simultaneously analyzing the regional groundwater driving force and deep subsurface flow, and repository scale safety features, providing an ultimate basis for seamless safety assessment in the DGR program. The applicability of the IHM to the DGR safety assessment is demonstrated using simple illustrative examples.

        This study explores the impact of a STEM integration teacher professional development program focusing on teachers’ perception of engineering and their attitudes toward integrating engineering into teaching. A total of sixty-eight teachers from ten schools participated in the program for five days. Data are collected from three main sources including (1) pre and post concept maps probing teachers’ perceptions about the engineering discipline, (2) a pre and post survey measuring teachers’ self-efficacy of teaching science/mathematics within the engineering context, and (3) engineering integrated science and (or) mathematics lesson plans and teaching reflections. This study utilizes both qualitative and quantitative research methods depending on the data we have collected. The results show that both science and math teachers thought that integrating engineering into teaching provided valuable outcomes, i.e., promoting students’ learning about engineering and improving their interest in science or math through real-world problem solving exercises. Participants also felt more comfortable about integrating engineering in their teaching after the program. The results also imply that the teachers’ understandings of engineering become more concrete after the program. This study also provides an overview of the challenges and advantages of teaching engineering in K-12 science and mathematics classrooms.

        본 연구는 신체와 정서가 가장 많이 발달하는 시기인 아동을 대상으로 한국적 정서와 교육적 가치를 가장 많이 내포하고 있는 전래동화를 동기유발의 자료로 활용하여 문화와 예술, 교육이 통합된 프로그램을 개발하였다. 연구자는 전래동화 중에서 ‘해와 달이 된 오누이’, ‘흥부와 놀부’를 선정한 통합프로그램을 대구시 수성구 소재의 ‘찾아가는 미술관’ 초등학교 저학년 교육프로그램 수업과 초등학교 5개교, 각 학교 저학년 20명씩을 대상으로 방과 후 수업에 적용하여 통합교육의 질적인 모색과 교육적 가치 및 문화와 예술의 관계, 그 관계에 따른 통합수업의 필요성에 대하여 연구하였다. 그 결과, 아동들은 미술 영역에서 오감을 체험할 수 있는 기회를 가졌고, 음악 영역에서는 우리 장단의 체험과 우리 민족의 정서, 그리고 정체성도 이해할 수 있었다. 교육적 가치로는 우리의 민족 정서인 충, 효와 권선징악, 형제의 우애 등 윤리적인 의식과 인간성 회복의 교훈도 얻을 수 있었으며, 문화와 예술적 체험에 접목된 영상은 아동들에게 자신감과 더 큰 즐거움을 안겨주었다. 따라서 통합적 프로그램의 개발은 학문과의 통합적 사고능력을 신장시키며, 아동들에게 표현 욕구를 더 많이 충족시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

        Recently, Korea’s interest in environment protection is increasingly growing, and Korea realizes the seriousness of environmental pollution and national movement to minimize the effect is arising. As part of the movement, the need of environmental education in elementary schools is on the rise. This study aims to develop integrated environmental experience programs allowing students to have experience activities in forests, rivers, and seas that they can approach easily around them and to have environmental education through various plays. In addition, the study purposes to compare general educational education programs in actual education in terms of the effect of the program on students’ environment attitudes. This study was conducted to 50 fourth graders in two classes of S elementary school in Busan, and the 25-student comparative group had the normal educational education program that is mostly being performed in actual education while the 25-student treatment group had the survey on environmental attitude after a class using an integrated environmental experience program. The survey content is about environmental attitudes, and it consists of six subjects such as general environment, environmental pollution, energy, water resources, recycling, and animal protection and has 7 or 8 items by each subject which is divided into eight sub-items including sensibility, belief, values, spontaneity, criticism, patience, attention and interest. The findings are as follows. First, the integrated environmental experience program has a more positive effect on environmental attitudes than the general educational program. In particular, it is really effective about the topic of animal protection among students’ environmental attitudes. Second, the integrated environmental experience program has a more positive effect on values and interests than the general environmental education program.

        본 연구는 방과 후 특기 적성 교실의 원예-국어 통합프로그램이 초등학생의 국어과 관련 학습흥미도와 학업성취도 및 식물친숙도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 수원, 군포, 양평의 초등학교에서 방과 후 특기 적성 교실에 참여하는 2~5학년의 학생들 41명을 대상으로 2010년 3월 23일부터 7월 9일까지 매주 1회, 회기 당 1시간20분씩 총 15회에 걸쳐 원예-국어 통합프로그램을 실행하였다. 본 연구에서 실시한 프로그램은 초등학교 국어과 교육과정과 원예활동을 통합하여 실내․외에서 개별 및 집단으로 활동할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 프로그램 실행 전후에 국어과 관련 학습흥미도와 학업성취도 및 식물친숙도를 검사하였는데 원예-국어 통합프로그램을 실시하기 전보다 실시한 후에 아동의 국어과 관련 학습흥미도와 학업성취도 및 식물친숙도의 향상에 효과가 있음이 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 향후 교육현장에서 교과목과 연계한 다양한 원예교육프로그램의 체계적이고 지속적인 개발 및 보급이 이루어져야 할 필요성을 시사하고 있으며 또한, 이를 위한 교육영역의 정책적인 지원이 필요함을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
