This study investigated and analyzed the recognition and needs for Korean communication competency among non-Korean learners who participated in an online Korean language course. To this end, the importance, performance, and necessity of the categories of communication competency recognized by Korean language learners were measured, and then IPA(Importancce-Performance Analysis: Martilla & James, 1977) analysis and Borich’s needs analysis(Borich, 1980) were used. After implementation, we examined whether there were differences in outcomes depending on learner variables. After examining the sub-items, it was found that there were differences in importance, current level, and need depending on the learner’s home country, and there were differences in current level, demand, and necessity depending on academic background and Korean language proficiency. In addition, there are differences in need depending on the learner’s reason for learning Korean, so it is necessary to respond to individual learnier’s needs according to learner variables when designing curriculum for online foreign language learners of Korean.

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 엘리트 운동선수를 위한 단기 의사소통 훈련 프로 그램이 의사소통 만족도, 집단응집력, 운동성과에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 대학생 운동선수를 대상으로 효과가 검증되었던 의사소통 훈련 프로그램을 참여 집단의 특성과 학교 현장 여건에 맞게 수정 및 보완하여 활용하였다. 연구참여자는 G시 소재의 고등학교 축구부를 대상으로 모집되었 고, 프로그램은 주 1회 100분씩 총 6회기 실시되었다. 프로그램의 효과검증을 위 해 양적 자료로 의사소통 만족도, 집단응집력, 운동성과 척도 점수가, 질적 자료 로 회기별 경험보고서가 수집되었다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 단기 의사소통 훈 련 프로그램의 효과를 검증한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 단기 의사소통 훈련 프 로그램의 양적 효과는 청소년 운동선수의 의사소통 만족도, 집단응집력, 운동성 과에 있어 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 단기 의사소통 훈련 프로그램의 질적 효과는 청소년 운동선수에게 즐거움을 주고, 의사소통의 중요성을 인식시키며, 선수 간 의 관계 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 양적 효과와 질적 효과의 상반된 결과에 대한 분석 및 해석은 논의에 제시하였다.

이 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 인터넷 중독과 가족 의사소통간의 관계 정도를 파악하고, 인터넷 중독과 관련된 영향 요인을 알아보려는 목적의 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 대상자는 J시에 소재한 대학의 간호학 부 재학생 251명이었다. 자료수집은 구조화된 자가 보고식 설문지를 이 용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨의 상관관계, Multiple regression으로 분석하였 다. 연구 결과로 간호대학생의 인터넷 중독 평균 점수는 34.8점, 가족 의사소통 평균 점수는 62.1점 이었고, 인터넷 중독 고위험 사용자군은 9.2%로 나타났다. 인터넷 중독과 가족 의사소통은 유의한 음의 상관관계 가 있었다. 다중 회귀분석 결과 가족 의사소통, 건강 저하, 수면 부족은 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인이며, 설명력은 23.6%(F=4.52, p<.001)이었다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 인터넷 중 독을 감소시키기 위해 가족 의사소통을 증진시킬 수 있는 중재 프로그램 을 개발하여 적용하기를 제안한다.

In recent years, there has been a growing trend of occupational accidents involving foreign workers. As the number of foreign workers continues to increase, the risk of occupational accidents is also on the rise. Therefore, it is crucial to take proactive measures to prevent occupational accidents among foreign workers. To establish a common safety culture among foreign workers with varied backgrounds and educational experiences, and which is harmonized with Korean workplace. Safety communication, which includes culture respect and participation in the workplace, plays a significant role in shaping and developing the safety culture of foreign workers. Therefore, this study aims to assess the level of safety culture in workplace employing foreign workers by analyzing the reliability and validity of factors such as 'occupational accident awareness' and 'safety communication,' which constitute the safety culture at these workplace. Additionally, the mediating effect of 'work proficiency' on the relationship between 'safety communication' and the level of improvement in 'occupational accident awareness' using the validation method proposed by Baron & Kenny(1986). As a result of statistical analysis, The influence of‘safety communication’on‘occupational accident awareness’is β=0.339, and it has been found that this influence decreases to β=0.113 when‘work proficiency’is introduced, indicating partial mediation.

본 연구 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 의사소통, 리더십, 윤리적 간호역량 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 확인하고, 간호대학생의 의사소통과 리더십이 윤리적 간호역량에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시 도되었다. 본 연구에 참여한 대상자는 간호학과에 재학 중인 328명이었으며, 연구대상자에게는 연구 동의 를 구한 후 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 28.0 프로그램을 활용하여 변수의 특성에 따라 통계분석을 하였다. 본 연구결과, 간호대학생의 윤리적 간호역량은 의사소통(r=.67, p<.001), 리더십(r=.56, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 간호대학생의 윤리적 간호역량에 영 향을 주는 요인은 의사소통(β=.52, p<.001)과 리더십(β=.23, p<.001)으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 회귀모 형은 유의하였으며(F=155.74, p<.001) 모형의 설명력은 48%였다. 따라서 간호대학생이 학부에서부터 윤 리적 간호역량을 함양하기 위해서는 의사소통 능력을 기르고 리더십을 경험할 수 있는 다양한 교육프로그 램이 개발될 필요가 있다.

Using a conversation analysis (CA) framework, this study investigated how kindergarten-aged learners took initiative during classroom interactions through multimodal communication resources. Over a thirteen-week period, data was collected from kindergarten English classroom interactions between two male native Englishspeaking teachers (NESTs) and 125 children divided into six classes. The analysis revealed that learners deployed several multimodal communication resources in teacherinitiated sequences, such as finger-folding gestures, hand-raising, and gaze direction. These multimodal resources were employed to retrieve words, acquire turns, provide answers, and impart other kinds of information. The study also showed how very young learners, with limited linguistic resources, were able to attract the teacher’s attention, draw on embodied resources to access a turn, and become active agents influencing the trajectory of both teacher talk and classroom learning. The study concludes with a discussion of learner initiative and multimodal communication resources, and the pedagogical implications carried by the results of the study for classroom interaction with very young learners.

본 연구는 중국 산시성(山西省)에 있는 대학 교수를 대상으로 교수의 그릿, 직무만족도, 교사효능감, 소통능력 간의 구조적 관계 분석을 목적 으로 한다. 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 중국 대학교수의 그릿, 교사효능 감, 소통능력, 직무만족도의 수준은 어떠한가? 변수 간의 상관관계는 어 떠한가?, 중국 대학교수의 그릿, 교사효능감, 소통능력이 직무만족도에 미치는 직접적 영향은 어떠한가?, 중국 대학교수의 그릿과 직무만족도의 관계에서 교사효능감과 소통능력의 부분 매개효과는 어떠한가? 분석 결 과, 연구 변인 중에 그릿(M=3.288)의 평균이 가장 높은 수준이었으며 직 무만족(M=3.119), 교사효능감(M=3.102), 소통능력(M=3.042) 순서로 나타 났다. 변인 간의 상관관계 분석 결과에서는 중국 대학 교수들의 그릿, 교 사효능감, 소통능력 및 직무만족 간에 모두 유의미한 양(+)의 상관관계가 나타났다. 중국 대학 교수의 그릿은 교사효능감, 소통능력, 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 그릿은 교사효 능감과 소통능력을 통해 직무만족에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 대학교수의 그릿을 향상시키는 교육 및 훈련 프로그램이 개발되고 실행될 필요가 있다는 것을 제안하였다. 이는 교수들의 교수 효능감과 소통능력을 높이는 데 도움이 되어, 결국 직무만족도의 향상에 기여할 것으로 보기 때문이다.

Chatbot-based services in online travel agency (OTA) are rapidly spreading in order to respond more agilely to consumers' needs based on the digitalization of the travel industry. Although AI chatbots use anthropomorphism to provide social experiences on behalf of humans, research results on its effects are mixed. Therefore, based on construal level theory, this study suggests the degree of anthropomorphism (low vs. high) of chatbots prime mental representations of different construal levels (low vs. high) and the fit between anthropomorphism and communication context (communication types and conversation types) has a positive effect on use behavior. This research method consisted of sentimental analysis for exploring use behavior of AI chatbots and two experimental studies (study 1 and study 2) to examine the hypotheses. The results of this study expand construal level theory and avatar research to provide an understanding of the anthropomorphism of AI chatbots.

The paper examines how omnichannel communication of sustainability of luxury fashion brands enhance consumer brand engagement. We propose a multiple case study of four Italian high-end fashion brands. The study advances the literature on sustainable luxury fashion and omnichannel communication and offers guidelines for managers to effectively communicate sustainability.

Sustainability issue has received growing attention from various stakeholders. To engage more people to participate in sustainable actions, the United Nations has promoted #actnow campaign since 2019. Among various sustainability initiatives and approaches, the UN’s #actnow campaign focuses on food and fashion sustainability since these two industries encompass various sustainability issues from production and post-consumption. By analyzing Twitter's big data, the study findings demonstrate that negative sentiment messages are powerful in driving the public’s engagement in social media message dissemination. The findings suggest that practitioners may use assertive and strong voice messages to lead consumers’ participation in sustainable message dissemination.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities substantially impact a company’s reputation. As companies increasingly embrace social media to communicate CSR activities, they face the challenge of selecting the appropriate message source. In this context, this paper examines the role of message source in the relationship between CSR communication and corporate reputation.

This research addresses financial market communication of marketing information (i.e., information related to firms’ organic growth opportunities) through depth interviews (Study 1) and quantitative data on conference calls and stock market reactions (Study 2). The investigation (1) reveals that marketing, despite high potential relevance for financial markets, often plays only a marginal role in firms’ financial market communication and (2) develops a framework for effectively communicating marketing to financial markets.

This study explores the role of the digital communication in determining customers’ e-service agent use behavior and examines whether perceived communicator authority interacts with communication style toward strengthening or weakening future e-service agent use intention. The results of this study provide pioneering evidence on the effects of digital service communication strategies. This study contributes to digital service research by exploring the communication strategies of e-service agents. Results also provide implications for practitioners on how to achieve most out of deploying digital communications in the digital customer service platform.

본 연구는 퍼스널트레이너-고객 간의 라포형성이 운동성과에 미치는 영향관계를 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 중심으로 인과 관계(SEM)를 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 2022년 10월 1일부터 4월 28일까지 표본계 획에 의해 PT고객 187명을 대상으로 모바일 프로그램 ‘서베이몽키’를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 도출 하였 다. 첫째, 커뮤니케이션 스타일은 라포형성에 영향(+)을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 커뮤니케이션 스타 일은 운동성과에 부분적으로 영향(+)을 미치며, 통제형은 영향관계가 성립되지 않았다. 셋째, 라포형성이 운동성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 PT는 일반적인 서비스가 아닌 인적 서비스이기에 그 중요성이 더욱히 강조되어야 될 것이다. 또한, 치열한 PT시장에서 우위를 점하는 것은 바로 고객이 반응할 수 있는 표현방식 언어적 측면과 비언어적 측면을 적절하게 반영된다면 운동성과와 경영성과 둘 동시 영향 을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

This research introduced a command-filtered backstepping control of mirror system to maintain laser communication between satellite and ground station. This requires a 2 degree of freedom gimbal mirror system using DC motors for target acquisition, pointing, and tracking (APT) system. This APT system is used for laser communication between satellite and ground stations. To track these desired angles, we have to control DC motors using introduced command-filtered backstepping controller (CFBSC) with disturbance. Command filtered backstepping controller has second order filter instead differentiation for simple and fast calculation. Introduced command-filtered backstepping control gives a smooth control signal for intermediate states. Simulation results verify that CFBSC outperforms SMC in terms of tracking error and disturbance rejection.

With the rapid development of flexible wearable electronic products, flexible all graphene-based supercapacitors (FGSCs) with reduced graphene oxide rGO//graphene oxide (GO)//rGO structure have attracted substantial attention due to their unique structures and energy storage mechanism. However, restricted by design idea and preparation technology, improvement of capacitance performance for the FGSCs is not obvious recently. Herein, we demonstrate that an interface integration strategy of constructing the high-performance FGSCs with compact structure. Hydroquinone (HQ)-modified rGO (HQ-rGO) films (electrode materials) and sulfuric acid-intercalated GO films (electrolyte/separator) are assembled into the FGSCs utilizing hydrogen bonding and capillary contractility. The HQ further improves the electrochemical capacitance of electrode materials. The synergistic effect of the hydrogen bonding and capillary contractility guarantees compact and stable structure of the device. The resulting FGSCs exhibit an excellent areal capacitance of 804.6 mF cm− 2 (@2 mA cm− 2) and 441 mF cm− 2 (@30 mA cm− 2), and their highest energy and power densities can achieve 109.5 μWh cm− 2 and 21,060 μW cm− 2, respectively. These performances are superior to other all-in-one graphene-based SCs reported. Therefore, the construction technology of the FGSCs is a promising for developing all graphene-based SCs with high-performance.

High level radioactive waste disposal repository is faced thermos-hydro-mechanical-radioactive condition. Factors according to these complex conditions are measured using multiple sensors installed in the disposal repository to check integrity of the structure. Wires of the sensors can be potential pathways of groundwater and nuclide flow and these pathways accelerates bentonite saturation. Therefore, it is worth to developing wireless sensors buried in the bentonite buffer which can communicate without wires. In start of the study, widely-utilized wireless communication methods including WiFi and LoRa are tested using compacted bentonite blocks to estimate the performance of them. Compacted bentonite blocks are prepaired using di-press method with metal molds and the dry density of them are about 1.6 g/cm3. All wireless communication methods are well communicated through the bentonite blocks over 50 cm. The further experimental tests will be conducted with different dry density and water contents. The results of these experimental tests give a possibility of wireless communications in compacted bentonite buffer and will be utilized for the design of wireless sensor systems for the repository monitoring.

Southeast Asia is home to the Straits of Malacca and Singapore, one of the world’s most important sea lines of communication. The closure of the straits to international navigation may adversely affect the well-being of the global economy. On February 11, 2022, the Biden administration announced the new Indo-Pacific strategy, which will continue to deliver on AUKUS. For centuries, the proposed Thai Canal Project has been planned to revolutionize the shipping industry by bypassing the busy waters of the Straits of Malacca and Singapore. If the canal is built under the US Indo-Pacific Strategy, the pre-eminence of the Straits of Malacca and Singapore will not last long. This article analyzes the potential increase of navigation of nuclear-powered submarines through the Straits of Malacca and Singapore and its ensuing environmental implications from a viewpoint of international law. It discusses effects of the proposed canal plan in influencing the shipping industry should this “dream waterway” be constructed.
