        This study was conducted to survey the perception and preferences of customers that have dined at Korean restaurants in China and investigate the importance and performance level of quality attributes, customer satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation intention. The survey was conducted January 31~March 1, 2016 in China. The 293 questionnaires (97.7%) were analyzed using SPSS(Ver. 23.0) and AMOS(Ver. 21.0). Results of this study are as follow: Customers that dined at a Korean restaurant in China were composed of 157 women and 136 men. Regarding the reason for preferring Korean cuisine, taste, hygiene and nutritional value of Korean food were the most significant quality factors. Regarding complaints about Korean food, Chinese people placed much emphasis on freshness of ingredients when dining out, based on the majority of complaints about ingredients that were not fresh. The main reason for leftover food were personal eating habits and that of customers revisiting food taste and nutrition. Path model among customer satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation intention revealed the factor of menus and attributes of menu items regarding customer’s age that had an impact on customers’ satisfaction, and association with customers’ satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation intention as well.

        This study was conducted to examine the effects of Chinese perceptions of quality attributes on customer’s satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation intention for coffee shops in Beijing, China. Subjects of this study included 200 customers who had visited a coffee shop at least once during the last year. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS v23.0 and AMOS v21.0. In this study, the majority of customers visited a coffee shop once or twice a week with friends. Respondents preferred tall-sized warm coffee in the store. The coffee shop quality attributes of were derived from five exploratory factors identified upon analysis of 30 observational variables. It was important to maintain and strengthen the quality attributes of coffee shops in this area because IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) analysis showed that “Doing great, keep it well” part was a desirable area because it had high importance and performance. Finally, path analysis revealed that customer satisfaction was influenced by employee attitude and affected revisit intention and recommendation intention.

        This study builds on prevalent approaches of extending the applications of importance performance analysis (IPA) tool. Thus, we analyse the influence of Performance expectancy on Customer Satisfaction. The instruments employed were adapted from previous studies and pilot tested with a group of master students to verify clarity of meaning and comprehension. Findings reveal the stronger influence of three factor that emerge from performance expectancy: Usability, Reliability, Information Quality.

        Introduction The concentration of manufacturing factories in China signals a significant change in the global economy. Manufacturers in countries that are not price competitive feel a sense of crisis and use servitization in the manufacturing industry as a countermeasure. In particular, with the recent rapid development of IoT and AI, service methods are becoming faster and more diverse resulting in increased research on servitization. Vandermerwe and Rada (1988), who first mentioned the term servitization, define it as providing customer-focused products, services, support, self-service, and knowledge, all bundled together. Despite numerous studies on servitization few consider the customer’s perspective, although many consider the producer’s point of view. So far existing research only explored on how consumers accept value-in-use based on an accurate understanding of consumers' needs from the consumer perspective in servitization, based on expectation-confirmation theory. This study examines how customers accept servitization and links it to customer satisfaction. Literature review Servitization Ren and Gregory (2007) defined servitization as a strategic change in which manufacturing companies develop service-oriented or better services to satisfy customers, gain competitive advantage, and improve corporate performance. Raja et al. (2013) examined servitization to find the most important attributes of value-in-use for customers using servitized products and classified them into seven attributes. This study is based on the seven attributes identified by Raja et al. (2013). Perceived Usefulness, Confirmation, and Customer Satisfaction Bhattacharjee developed the Continuance Use Model based on the expectation-confirmation theory and conducted empirical studies for verification (2001b). Our study analyzes the correlation between customer acceptance process and customer satisfaction based on the Expectation-Confirmation model by Bhattacharjee (2001b). Research method We conducted surveys and analyzed the data of 50 Korean university students and members of the public using Smart Pay (Samsung Pay, Apple Pay etc.). The reliability of the questionnaire was verified by using the Cronbach’s alpha values and exploratory factor analysis. The seven variables of the value-in-use attributes of servitization identified by Raja et al. are as follows: relational dynamic, accessibility, range of product and service offering, knowledge, price, delivery, and locality. We measured three additional variables: perceived usefulness, confirmation, and customer satisfaction. Contributions Academic contribution This study provides a theoretical basis for examining the relationship between variables and the influence of the value-in-use attributes of servitization on customer acceptance and satisfaction. Practical contribution We present implications for customer satisfaction in the servitization process of manufacturing companies by explaining how customers accept the value-in-use attributes of servitization.

        목적: 본 연구는 소비자가 인식하는 안경원의 브랜드 자산, 외부환경, 내부환경이 고객만족, 신뢰 및 재방 문 의도에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식을 이용하여 실증해 보고자 하였다. 방법: 서울, 경기, 충남지역에 거주하는 안경원 이용 경험이 있는 성인 420명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하 였고, 불성실히 응답한 9부를 제외한 411부가 분석에 사용되었다. 신뢰성 분석과 확인적 요인 분석 및 구조 방정식 모델을 이용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 결과: 브랜드 자산이 외부환경과 내부환경 변수에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 브랜드 자산, 내부환경 등 외 생변수가 매개변수인 고객만족을 통해 신뢰에 간접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고, 다시 고객만족과 신뢰를 통해 재방문에 미치는 영향이 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 외부환경은 고객만족과 신뢰 모두에서 유 의한 영향을 미치지 못했으나, 브랜드 자산과 내부환경의 경우에서는 재방문에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 고객만족과 신뢰를 통해 간접적으로도 유의하게 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 안경원은 기타 서비스직종과 달리 내부환경 중에서도 안경사특성이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 특수 성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 브랜드 자산이 내·외부 환경에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 이 중 내부환경 즉, 상품, 가격 그리고 안경사 특성이 고객만족으로 이어져 신뢰를 거쳐 재방문에 이르는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 브랜드 자산을 높이기 위한 노력과 함께 내부 환경 및 고객과의 신뢰 향상에 대한 중요성을 인식 하고 이에 대한 관리에 더욱 노력을 기울어야 할 것으로 보인다.

        The two-way quality theory has been widely used as a method for classifying quality attributes for several decades. In particular, the Kano model that classifies attributes into not just conventional one-dimensional but must-be and attractive has gained popularity due to its applicability and ease of use. However, the wordings of the five alternatives in the Kano's questionnaire has been criticised for unclear meanings. This study proposes a new two-way model to classify attributes using 5-point Likert scale alternatives. For this, the current paper investigated a case of TV sets to examine how the proposed model works in comparison with the Kano model. The application results of the proposed model are different from the original one. The two-way model classifies quality attributes in more detail such as the “one-dimensional with an attractive tendency” attribute, which has a greater influence on satisfaction than dissatisfaction, the opposite “one-dimensional with a must-be tendency” attribute, and “highly one-dimensional” and “less one-dimensional” attributes. In this study, a potential satisfaction coefficient (PSC), a potential dissatisfaction coefficient (PDC), and an average potential coefficient (APC) to manage quality attributes are proposed and discussed for their utilization.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of determinants of Smartphone purchasing such as A/S, brand, H/W, switching cost, design on customer satisfaction and verify the accordance of the results of existing researches and our research with customers’ actual experience. The study also sought to confirm if moderating effects exist between determinants of Smartphone purchasing and customer satisfaction by age, gender. Data for this study was gathered by analyzing the results of a survey we conducted on 252 respondents. By taking into account the results of antecedent researches, we determined A/S, brand, H/W, switching cost, design as the 5 main factors that influence Smartphone purchasing behavior. We focused on analyzing the effect determinants of Smartphone purchasing has on consumer satisfaction and whether there exist any moderating effects between the determinants of Smartphone purchasing and consumer satisfaction by age and gender. As a result, we found out that design, brand, H/W had a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in the descending order. Switching cost and A/S turned out to have very little influence on consumer satisfaction. Also as a result of analyzing the moderating effects between determinants of Smartphone purchasing and consumer satisfaction by age and gender, the study verified that that A/S had the most significant influence as a moderating effect on age. And as for gender, switching cost was turned out to have a significant influence. The result of this study indicates several academic and practical implications for customer satisfaction of Smartphone business. Therefore, this result is expected to contribute to verifying influential factors of customer satisfaction improvement both academically and practically.

Lately, however, the Smart Phone market is prospected to move from growth phase to mature phase by the scholars. In order for a company to proactively respond to the change in such market condition, it is imperative that they ensure absolute advantage in customer loyalty over their competitors by revolutionising the after-sales service(A/S) quality that will lead to service satisfaction. This study aims to configure what dimensions make up for mobile phone A/S quality, and how this quality affects customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as proposing directions for A/S quality improvement by identifying them case by case to see what dimensions have more impact on customer satisfaction.

        Interaction Orientation (IO), a firm-level strategic orientation developed by Ramani and Kumar (2008), consists of four dimensions: (1) Customer concept - a firm-wide belief that sees the individual customer level as the examination unit and starting point of all company’s activities; (2) Interaction response capacity - the firm’s competency to respond to different customers using multiple means in a timely manner; (3) Customer empowerment - the extent to which a firm encourages customers to share information with the firm or with other customers; and (4) Customer value management - the capacity to keep an overview of how much revenue each customer generates, facilitating an efficient resource allocation. Current research states that IO represents a source of competitive advantage and leads to higher financial and non-financial performance. Past studies have only focused on cross-sectional data. However, a strategic orientation is a deeply embedded and gradually progressing organizational characteristic and, in order to establish a cause-effect relationship with performance, a longitudinal design is needed (Noble, Sinha, & Kumar, 2002). This study is the first to analyze the effects of IO longitudinally, including 247 S&P 500 firms from a variety of industries over a period of three years. To establish the firm's level of IO, we analyze the content of Letters to Shareholders (LtS). LtS are widely used to assess different strategic orientations, such as Entrepreneurial Orientation, Market Orientation or Learning Orientation (Noble et al., 2002; Short, Broberg, Cogliser, & Brigham, 2010; Zachary, McKenny, Short, & Payne, 2011). A sentence-by-sentence coding procedure was implemented (Keusch, Bollen, & Hassink, 2012;), where each sentence was examined for evidence of the four IO dimensions. We relied on multisource secondary data for performance indicators and on the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ASCI) for measuring customer satisfaction. We included the effects of competitive intensity and market turbulence, as well as several control variables: past performance of the firm, firm age, firm size, as well as industry specific effects. The results confirm the short and long term benefits of implementing IO, including higher financial performance and increased customer satisfaction, especially in a turbulent market. This study lays the foundation of a new approach for measuring IO in a longitudinal setting and using objective financial performance indicators.

        The purpose of this study was to identify images of saleswomen by uniform and body type and to determine if the images have an effect on customer satisfaction and revisiting intention. This study was conducted between February 10th and February 23rd 2015, using a questionnaire to collect data from 608 adults from Seoul, Deajeon, and Chungnam Province. A 2×2 (body type×clothes) factorial experimental design was used. Frequency, factor, and reliability analysis, analysis of variance, one-way ANOVA, Tukey test, and multiple regression analysis methods were used to analyze data. The study results were as follows: First, images of saleswomen with different uniform and body types were classified based on the following three factors: professionalism, kindness and attractiveness. Second, the saleswomen's uniforms had significant impact on perceived attractiveness, with women who wore skirt suits being identified as more attractive than women with pant suits. The saleswomen's body types had significant effect on professionalism, kindness and attractiveness. Women with average body types were perceived positively in terms of professionalism and attractiveness, whilst women with large body types were perceived positively in terms of kindness. Third, the combination of uniform and body type had a significant effect on perceived professionalism. Women with average body types wearing pant suits were perceived to have high degree of professionalism and women with large body types wearing skirt suits were evaluated to have high professionalism. Fourth, the images described as attractive and kind for both uniform and body type had a positive influences on customer satisfaction and revisiting intention.

        Quality management system is a systematic quality improvement approach for firm-wide management for the purpose of improving performance in terms of quality, productivity, organizational characteristics, customer satisfaction, and firm’s profitability. Recently, many researchers have examined the relationship between quality management system and firm’s performance. The conclusion from these studies is that effective implementation of quality management system improves firm’s performance. This paper extends the existing research on quality management system and firm’s performance by examining how the impact of quality management system on firm’s performance is moderated by organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction. The paper is organized as follows. Section 1 introduces the necessity and purpose of the research. Section 2 reviews quality management system and summarizes the results of previous studies. Section 3 present the proposed research model, the hypotheses related to the relationship between quality management system and firm’s performance. Section 4 provides results from the data analysis. Section 5 presents discussions, results, further implications, and research limitations. An extensive literature research was designed to identify and retrieve empirical studies relevent to develop the hypotheses. The objectives of this study identify the factors of quality management system on business performance. The results are as follows: First, The management responsibility, resource management and product realization influenced significantly on financial performance. The management responsibility and product realization influenced significantly on non-financial performance. Second, the research showed a fact that organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction effect as a moderated between quality management system and business performance. The implications of our results are that organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction moderate the firm’s performance.

        The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of food neophobia on restaurant image, customer satisfaction, and loyalty in ethnic restaurants. A self-administered survey for data collection 581 customers who visited an ethnic restaurant in August, 2015. Statistical analyses included descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis for SPSS 21.0. The finding of the study indicated that the differences of food neophobia score in demographic characteristics showed significant differences by age, occupation, dining-out frequency, and source of dining-out information, not by gender. The mean value of food neophilic group was significantly higher than food neophobic group in all items of restaurant image, overall satisfaction and customer loyalty. The regression analysis showed that tangible aspect, price aspect, and food aspect of restaurant image had positive effects on overall satisfaction and customer loyalty however employee service showed different result by groups. The finding of the study offer marketing strategies for ethnic restaurants to induce customer revisit.

        농촌체험의 관심과 체험이 증가되는 상황에서 농촌체험의 지속성과 경쟁력의 확보 차원으로 서비스품질이 중요해지고 있다. 이 연구는 농촌체험을 경험한 서울지역 소비자를 대상으로 서비스품질과 고객만족, 고객만족과 추천의도 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 설문분석은 총 234부이며, 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 가설검정을 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신뢰도의 크론바흐 알파값은 0.6 이상, 타당도의 요인적재량은 0.7 이상, 평균분산추출은 0.5 이상이 었다. 둘째, 확인적 요인분석의 모형적합도는, CMIN/DF, GFI, TLI, CFI, RMSEA이 전반적으로 적합하였다. 셋째, 가설검정의 결과, H1의 H1-2(유형성)와 H1-3(응답성)을 제외한 H1-1(신뢰성), H1-4(확신성), H1-5(공감성)는 고객만족 에 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, H2는 고객만족이 추천의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 따라서 농촌체험의 서비스를 이용자와 제공자 간의 상호작용으로 볼 때, 서비스품질에 대한 지속적인 개선이 필요할 것이다.

        Customer equity can estimate customer lifetime value for the company (Rust et al, 2004). The firm can make proper marketing strategy with customer equity. Customer equity can both satisfy consumers and make a profit for the company (Lemon et al., 2001).So we built a model to connect service quality and customer equity to study how to prove the competitive power of traditional market. In this paper we used customer satisfaction and brand attitude as mediating variables since Store brands have become an important contributor to retail differentiation and basis for building store loyalty (Dodd and Lindley, 2003) and in retail market customer equity varies with customer satisfaction( Pappu and Quester 2006). Considering that Chinese economic growth rate was slowing down, traditional market is being a priority for Chinese Government to relieve severe export pressure and employment pressure. In this research we would like to study the relationships among service quality, customer satisfaction and brand attitude and how they influence customer equity in traditional markets.         Exhibitions are becoming a new important marketing tool in the fashion industry. Consumer’s interest in the haute couture and arts is increasing in parallel to the increase of the need of museums to attract visitors. While many fashion brands have been holding exhibitions, very few studies have investigated the effectiveness of exhibitions. This study aims to obtain practical implications which can be applied to further exhibition marketing processes. To this end, the main goals of this study are thus as follows: (1) to analyze the fashion exhibition cases by categories; and (2) to examine customer satisfaction by the fashion exhibition types and to determine how customer satisfaction affects the brand image. In order to classify the fashion exhibition types, a total of 160 cases held in the last five years in all over the world were collected and the range was set to the B2C fashion exhibition practices. For quantitative analysis of the customer recognition, the survey was distributed to total of 309 participants. Each of respondents evaluated three stimuli therefore the nine stimuli were respectively evaluated by 103 people. As a result of our analysis, nine types of fashion exhibitions were derived by two criteria, namely, (1) the main purpose of an exhibition and (2) the contents of an exhibition. Most fashion exhibitions are held with the goals of aesthetics, sociability, and remembrance. Exhibitions display various fashion products, such as apparel, shoes, bags, and jewellry, fashion photography, as well as various artistic media, such as video, drawings, and installation arts. The nine types of fashion exhibitions were used as a stimulus to quantitatively verify the effectiveness of fashion exhibitions. According to the results of the statistical analyses, customer satisfaction and brand image were significantly different in the fashion exhibition type but the exhibition type does not directly affect the brand image. This study provides a better understanding of the growing influence of factors on the fashion exhibitions and extends the limited research area by verifying the response of fashion exhibition visitors on the marketing level. Moreover, our results provide practical implications for fashion brands to establish successful exhibition marketing strategies.

        본 연구는 국내 사회적기업이 양적으로 성장한 시점에서 자립과 지속가능성을 더욱 강화할 필요가 있다고 보고 실증연구 결과에 따른 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제공하고자 했다. 사회적 기업가와 사회적기업 종사자 모두 중요함을 인지하고 사회적 기업가정신, 소명, 고객지향성, 직무만족의 관계를 실증적으로 분석했다. 이론적 배경을 통한 가설을 설정했고 가설을 검증하기 위해 부산광역시의 (예비)사회적기업 종사자를 대상으로 설문지를 배부했다. 2015년 3월에서 4월까지 150부를 배부하여 128부(85.3%)를 회수하고 불성실한 응답을 제외한 121부(80.7%)를 최종분석에 활용했다. 통계분석은 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 분석했고 매개효과의 유의성 검증을 위해 sobel test를 실시했다. 측정변수의 신뢰성을 검증하고 확인적 요인분석으로 변수의 타당성을 확보했다. 구조방정식 연구모형의 적합도는 일반적으로 수용가능한 수준으로 나타났다. 연구결과 사회적 기업가정신은 소명에 직접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 기업가정신은 고객지향성에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났지만 직무만족에는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 소명은 고객지향성과 직무만족에 모두 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 기업가정신과 고객지향성의 관계에서 소명은 완전매개효과가 나타났으며, 사회적 기업가정신과 직무만족의 관계에서 소명은 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점들에 관해서 논의했다.

        최근 스마트폰의 보급 확대로 모바일 비즈니스가 활발해지고 있는데, 그 중에서도 모바일 쇼핑의 성장세가 가 장 두드러지고 있다. 모바일 쇼핑이 성장을 지속하기 위해서는 이용자들의 만족도가 중요하기에 본 연구에서는 여기에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 개인성향 변수를 중심으로 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 한국, 중국, 미국, 일본 4개 국의 모바일 쇼핑 이용자 2000명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 스마트폰지식, 정보공유성향, 프라이버시 염려, 성별, 연령, 국적 등을 독립변수로 한 회귀모형을 구성하여 검증한 결과, 프라이버시 염려를 제외한 모든 변수가 모바일 쇼핑만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 스마트폰 지식과 정보공유성향이 높을 수록, 젊고 여성일수록 모바일 쇼핑만족도가 높게 나타났다. 또한 미국, 일본, 중국, 한국 순으로 모바일 쇼핑 만 족도가 높은 것으로 나왔다. 실증 결과를 토대로 하여 모바일 쇼핑업체는 어떤 소비자를 타겟으로 하여 전략을 펼칠 것인지에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

        Both employee satisfaction and loyalty play an important role in increasing the business performances of organizations in the service industry. However, the influence of TQM practices on employee satisfaction and employee loyalty has not been examined in the ICT service supply chain. This study aimed to investigate the impact of five total quality management (TQM) practices on employee satisfaction and employee loyalty in Korean ICT customer service and retail distribution organizations. Based on an empirical study of 578 respondents in a Korean ICT service company, the study examined the hypothesized relationships among TQM practices, employee satisfaction, and employee loyalty. Using structural equations modeling, it is found that TQM practices are significantly related to employee satisfaction, whereas the latter in turn influences employee loyalty. The results of analysis suggest that the ICT customer service and retail distribution organizations should concentrate on enhancing employee satisfaction of their TQM practices and creating a people-satisfied job environment.
