This study was conducted to develop a handy earth auger for use in sloppy and rugged forest terrains in order to reduce labor cost which comprises a major part of the production costs in forest afforestation projects. The first prototype is developed consist of two parts, the soil-digging screw and the battery power source. The specifications of the first prototype screw are: length of 170㎜, a top diameter of 60㎜, bottom diameter of 47㎜, 23° angle for each helix, and a 50㎜ awl-head tip. The use of a single line of screw was selected for reduced weight. In addition, a power source of rotary DC Motor(WD-6G2425, WONILL, Korea) with a maximum torque of 30㎏ f-㎝, rotation of 20-30rpm, K6G30C decelerator with a reduction ratio of 30:1 which could be used with no load for 48 was operated. In consideration of its weight, a lithium battery was utilized in line with the goal of developing a lightweight auger. In order to evaluate the performance of the first prototype, test sites were selected as 6 areas. The rotational force was found to be highest in area A(Solid area), followed by areas F(Mounted slope 40° area) and E(Mounted slope 30° area). It was also observed that in general, the rotational force increased along with the increase in soil depth with the maximum rotational force recorded at 10㎝.

우리는 염분농도가 맹꽁이 초기발생과정에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구는 2013년 6월에 제주지역 해안가에서 산란하는 맹꽁이 포접쌍의 알을 가지고 실시하였다. 염분농도는 0, 1, 3, 5, 7‰로 하여 알에서 외부아가미가 닫힐 때까지 생존여부와 생장을 관찰하였다. 또 다른 실험은 내부아가미 단계인 올챙이를 0, 1, 3, 5, 7‰의 염분농도에 넣어 생존율과 생장률을 관찰하여 두 실험결과를 비교하였다. 실험결과 알 - 외부아가미 단계에서는 3‰에서 대조군과 유의한 차이가 없이 생존하였으나 5‰에서는 생존율이 낮게 나타났다. 또한 7‰에서는 모든 알이 죽는 것으로 나타나 염분농도가 5‰이상에서는 맹꽁이 초기발생에 생존 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 내부아가미 단계에서의 유생들은 5‰까지는 대조군과 유의한 차이가 없었으나 7‰에서는 생존율이 감소하였다. 생장률인 경우도 염분의 농도가 높아질수록 생장이 느려지고 있었고 외부아가미 단계 및 내부아가미 단계 모두 5‰에서 생장률이 대조군과 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 나타나고 있었다. 이번 연구 결과 염분의 농도가 높을수록 맹꽁이 유생의 생존과 생장에 영향을 받는다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 해안지역 개발에 따른 부작용인 맹꽁이의 감소에 대한 종 보존에 대비 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

셰이머스 히니가, 1939년 (예이츠가 별세한 해) 북 아일랜드의 한 농장에서 태어나 예이츠의 영향 아래서 살면서, 어떻게 자신을 새로운 시인으로 변모시키는 가하는 문제는 본 논문이 던지는 주요한 질문이다. 이 논문의 방법으로서, 몇 편의 시, 특히 첫 시집이면서도 아마 그의 뛰어난 시집인 순수의 죽음(Death of a Naturalist)에서 몇 편의 시의 가까이 읽기를 시도한다. 본 연구는 “폭포”와 “밭 갈기” 을 집중적으로 다룬다: 전자는 평론가들이 무시하거나 거의 논의된 적이 없고, 후자는 대부분 아주 평범한 시로 이해한다.

본 연구는 맹꽁이 포접쌍의 개체별 크기와 연령을 확인하기 위하여 수행하였다. 맹꽁이는 2013년 6월 제주도 성산읍과 대정읍에 위치한 습지에서 총 23쌍을 포획하였으며, 각 개체별 크기를 측정하고 연령을 확인하였다. 채집한 23쌍의 체장(SVL, snout-vent length), 체중, 앞다리 길이, 뒷다리 길이를 분석한 결과 암컷이 수컷보다 체중이 더 나가며 체장과 뒷다리의 길이도 더 긴 것으로 나타났다. 앞다리 길이는 암수 사이에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 맹꽁이 포접쌍 가운데 수컷의 평균 연령은 5.17±0.26살, 암컷은 6.22±0.28살로 나타났으며, 암컷이 수컷보다 평균연령이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 포접한 맹꽁이의 연령은 최소 3살부터 최대 10살까지 분포하였다. 맹꽁이 수컷은 연령과 체장이 양의 상관관계를 보였지만 암컷은 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 본 연구결과는 멸종위기종인 맹꽁이의 보호 및 복원전략 수립에 있어 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Seamus Heaney is one of the representative writers who wrote many poems in memory of the dead people and memory is Heaney’s principle muse. Through rereading the selected poems for the dead, I could find out that Seamus Heaney used the different genres as memory art for the dead: some pastoral elegies of Field Work, a series of sonnets of The Haw Lantern and some free verses of Seeing Things containing the method of pastiche and incantation. Pastoral elegy is a funeral song or a lament for the dead with some convention: Although, Seamus Heaney following this convention, “The Strand at Lough Beg” and “Casualty” show some digression. And sonnet means “little songs” of fourteen lines that follow a strict rhyme scheme and specific structure with the theme of love. However, Heaney’s sonnets also show some transformation in line and rhyme. And the word pastiche means either a “hodge-podge” or imitation of several original works. Heaney’s some memory poems of Seeing Things apply some method of incantation which transforms keepsakes into the spiritual ones with the method of pastiche. What I came to the end from this study is that when Heaney commemorated victims of Ulster Trouble, he used somewhat artificial genre of pastoral elegy. However, for the memory of his dead mother, he used the sonnet genre of lyric mode which can contain praise and love of the dead. To our interest, he used free verse with pastiche and incantation to express love for his dead father and the late Philip Larkin. In short, he can be evaluated as a craftsman, memory digger and occulter.

In this site, TBM tunnel section was composed of weak-to-moderate fine sedimentation layer, mixing claystone with gypsum. Maximum advance rate of shield TBM hits a record of digging during the tunnel work period. It is to be compared the site's cycle time data with planning stage.
