        교과내용 중심으로 설계되는 온라인 수업은 교수자와 학습자, 학습자들 간의 직접적인 면대면 상호작 용과 소통, 문제해결 및 새로운 지식과 정보의 심도깊은 익힘과 숙달의 기회가 부족한 것이 현실이다. B사이버대학은 학습자들의 학습실태 조사, 수업 및 학습상담에 대한 학습자들의 요구를 반영, 2015년 1 학기부터 교수자별 교과목 1개 이상을 블랜디드 러닝으로 운영하고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 사이버대학의 온라인 수업체제에서 학습자들의 학습실태와 오프라인 수업에 대한 만 족도 및 요구사항에 대한 분석, 그리고 시범적으로 운영한 오프라인 수업에 대한 학습자들의 의견 등을 토대로 사이버대학의 수업에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 블랜디드 러닝을 위한 교수설계의 방향을 탐 색하는데 있다.

        The purpose of the present study is to learn about English conversation instructors, in particular, to find out (1) who they are; (2) how they cooperate with English teachers at schools; and (3) what needs they have to serve better as English teaching staff at schools. An online survey was administered to all English conversation instructors at elementary and secondary schools in Korea. Around 4,630 English conversation instructors- 2,920 at elementary schools and 1,710 at secondary schools- participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed: (1) to describe the characteristics of English conversation instructors; (2) to examine how they are sharing teaching duties with English teachers; and (3) to assess the needs for their competency development. The needs of English conversation instructors were analyzed by calculating the gap between the current competence and the expected competence. The difference of English conversation instructors competence development needs at the elementary level and at the secondary level were then further analyzed through Analysis of Variance. The results of this study can be used as basic data to establish the training system for English conversation instructors’ competence development.

        Commercial fitness industry is booming in Malaysia and is becoming more difficult to entice new members with the built up competition. This research investigates the needs of these commercial fitness members and the role of engagement in determining overall satisfaction with service. Scale of Service Quality for Recreational Sport (SSQRS) was used for data collection reveals that fitness members are more drawn to interaction, outcome, physical environment quality and the engagement they receive from a gym membership and not much from the programs that are offered. This study’s finding will contribute to the development of marketing strategies for the sustainable growth of the fitness industry.

        The study analyzes English for Specific Purposes(ESP) needs of law school students and lawyers for developing English for Legal Purposes(ELP) courses in Korea. In order to investigate pedagogic needs of the learners and target needs of the domain experts, 74 law school students and 50 lawyers who were in charge of legal cases were interviewed and surveyed. The content of the questionnaire consisted of pedagogic and target needs about lawyer's tasks and open questions and comments about English education for law school students. The results of the analysis showed that learners' main need for studying English is conducting legal research and in communicating with others. The results of the language function analysis indicated that understanding legal terminology, reviewing provisions of law, writing a legal memo, legal translation, evaluating information to determine compliance with standards are considered important. The results also showed the differences in the importance ranking of function and type of language skills between the learner group and the domain expert group.

        The purpose of this study was designed to identify the health care condition aggressively to urban and semi-urban seniors and to inform the importance of prevention prior to treatment for better old age. A total of 200 seniors who were over the age of 65 and lived specific area of Seoul and Daeboo-island Ansan-city, from 7 September to 4 October 2012, and used self-developed questionnaire. The result of relevance analysis for oral health care demands shows that seniors from Ansan-city had higher dental prosthesis demands(the average 4.43) than seniors from Seoul(3.96) and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01). Analysis of the correlation between items represented positive(+) relation in all items and same age distribution. Dental prosthesis has high correlation in every items, but fluorine treatment has low correlation relatively. Correlation between independent variables and dependent variables was slightly high, R=0.356(35.6%). However daily activity, oral heath care and anxiety times showed statistical significances. The result of this study shows that there are significant differences between urban area and semi-urban area. Therefore, authorities need to offer oral health education.

        21세기는 사회 전반적 현상이 급속도로 변화하는 시기이다. 이러한 변화에 대처는 물론 스스로 주도하고 적응할 수 있는 역량이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 학교현장 청소년을 대상 으로 학교적응력향상을 위한 코칭프로그램을 실시하고 그 효과를 검증하고자하였다. 최근 청소년들을 위한 역량 관련 프로그램들이 다양한 형태로 이루어지고 있으나 일회성 또는 교육과정과는 별개로 부분적이고 형식적으로 이루어지고 있는 것이 대부분의 학교 교육 현장의 현실이다. 이러한 현상을 보완할 수 있는 방안으로 학교현장의 교사와 청소년들의 요구 탐색을 통해 어떠한 프로그램을 필요로 하고 있으며, 학교현장에서 생활하고 있는 교사와 청소년들의 요구를 반영한 탐색을 통해 학교현장 코칭 프로그램개발하고 적용하고자한다.본 연구는 학교교육현장의 프로그램의 개발과 적용을 정부 또는 상위 기관이나 해당기관 주도의 정책에 의한 것이 아닌 대상 학교별 교사와 학생의 인식을 중심으로 하는 코칭 프로그램의 개발에 의미를 두고자한다.또한 교사와 학생의 필요역량에 대한 사전 조사를 통해 프로그램 개발에 적용하여 현장 요구를 반영한 코칭프로그램의 개발과 적용의 전 후 변화에 대한 정리를 토대로 효과를 제시하고 학교현장 코칭프로그램 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자한다.

        The purpose of thi s study is to deve lop teaching materials for underachievers In e lementary Engli sh ed ucati on. Accord ing to Seoul metropolitan office of education (20 I I), the rate of underachievement has increased sharpl y when students go from primalY to secondary school. Therefore, it is necessalY to systematically teach underachi evers when they are in elementalY school. In order to develop teachi.ng materi als, a meta-analysis of the previous studies was cond ucted in the areas of underachi evers' characteri st ics and reasons, teaching ways, learning strategies and teaching contents. Moreover, a questionnaire survey for analyzing teachers' needs on teaching mate rials was conducted to elementalY school teachers. These resu lts were used as a fo undation to design the teaching materials. The major research findings are as follows: First, the developed teaching materials are expected to he lp teachers to teach underac hievers with practica l mater ia ls in the Engli sh e lementary classroom. Second, the suggested directions for developing teaching materials can gu ide teachers to develop the ir own teac hing materi als for underachi evers. Third, the integrated results of meta-ana lysis of the previous studies on teach ing underachievers help teachers to understand underac hievers better and thus construct effective teach ing strategies, teaching methods, and teaching contents.

        The purpose of this study is to analyze needs of bilingual education for children of multicultural families, specially the bilingual classes performed by multicultural family support centers in Korea. Following a brief overview of the meaning and goals of bilingual education, the present study provides the results of the survey that was conducted on 45 program managers, 55 teachers, and 114 mothers of multicultural children who take bilingual classes. The results indicate that the current status of the bilingual programs reflects that of multicultural families in Korea. For example, the number of Korean-Chinese bilingual programs is the biggest one as that of immigrant women through marriage from China. The findings from this research tell us that the programs play efficient roles for improving the bilingual abilities of multicultural children although there remain many problems in terms of systematized curricula, interesting materials, and teacher training. Most of respondents (managers and teachers) say that they need to have standard teachers' manuals and workbooks for better educational services. The results of the analysis also show that it is urgent and important to enrich the substance of teacher training programs for enhancement of bilingual teachers' qualification.

        고등교육정보화는 국가 교육의 혁신에 영향을 미침으로써 국가경쟁력 강화의 핵심요소로 여겨지고 있다. 개발도상국 역시 고등교육의 정보화를 꾀하고 있다. 그 중 태국도한국과의 국제협력을 통해 고등교육정보화의 발전을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있어 태국고등교육정보화에 요구와 현황을 파악하여 컨설팅이 이루어질 필요가 있다.본 연구는 태국 고등교육정보화의 문제점과 그에 대한 해결책을 분석하여 태국 고등교육정보화의 현황과 요구를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 APEC e-러닝 연수의 태국 연수생들이 작성한 PBL형식의 개인 보고서 및 공동연구 보고서를 내용분석을 통해 분석하였다.내용분석은 교육환경의 정보화, 교육정보화 컨텐츠, 교수-학습의 정보화, 행정적 지원을 범주로 하였다. 문제점과 해결책의 13⨯13 형태의 분석틀을 통해 부호화를 실시하였다. 부호화한 자료를 다중응답교차분석을 통해 통계처리한 후 얻은 자료를 통해 결론을 도출하였다.

        목적 : 치매노인 증상과 보호자의 부담감에 따른 방문작업치료 프로그램의 요구도를 파악하여 이를 토대로 방문작업치료 프로그램을 개발하는 데 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 2010년 4월 5일부터 5월 15일까지 서울에 위치한 치매지원센터 5곳을 방문하여 외래 치료를 받고 있는 치매노인의 주 보호자 120명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 그 중 89부를 대상으로 SPSS 17.0을 이용하여 서술통계, t 검증, 분산분석, 상관분석을 하였다. 결과 : 치매노인의 중증도에 따라서는 환경수정, 여가활동 요구도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았으며, 문제행동에 따라서는 여가활동, 보호자교육 요구도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다(p<.01). 치매노인의 인지수준에 따라서는 환경수정, 일상생활 요구도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았으며, 보호자 부담감에 따라서는 일상생활, 문제행동 요구도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다(p<.01). 결론 : 치매노인의 특성과 보호자의 부담정도에 따라서 방문작업치료 요구도에 차이가 있었다. 치매노인의 중증도가 중등도 일 때, 인지수준은 목적지향적 학습단계(4.0~4.8) 일 때, 문제행동이 심할수록 요구도가 높았으며, 보호자 부담감은 중등도일 때 프로그램에 대한 요구도가 높았다. 따라서 이러한 내용을 고려한 방문작업치료 프로그램 개발을 위한 연구가 지속되어야 한다.

        Purpose : To provide eye care practitioners with guidelines in selection of lenses based on visual needs of wearer. we measured optical characteristics and analysing distance, intem1ediate. and near zones of each PAL design. Methods : 34 lenses which are selling in the market currently, were ordered through a shop as if for a patient with a prescription of piano distance and a + 2.000 add for right respectively. The total number of tl1e lenses was 34 and they were obtained from the manufacturer directly to get a equatable of lenses. Each lens optics was measured with VM 2000(Visionix Ltd. Israel) three times. Limiting the viewing zone width by 0.500C or + 0.250S. distance. intem1ediate. near viewing zone were analysed respectively by lmm vertical steps. Results : Setting the criterion at addition + 2.000. the maximum unwantcd astigmatism was - 1.95 to -3.560( -2.32±0.37). clistance viewing zone area was 9.17 Lo 91.25 mm2(30.57±17.20 mm2 ) . intermediate vie\ving zone area was 10.52 to 41.21 mm2(19.56±6.88 mm2 ), the highest occurrence of the + 1.750 was apart 10.35 m to 18.16 mm(l3.53±2.02 mm) from fitting cross. and neru· viewing zone area with over + 1.750 was 26.58 to 111.25 mm2(62.31± 18.07 mm2 ). There were significant differences with measurement variables. And the usage ratings were measured on t11e criterion of the distance zone. intermediate zone. and near zone width and their horizontal width. Conclusions : The optical characteristics across the progressive addition lenses tested in this study were showed a variance of wide ranges. The ratings of visual needs of wearer on the distance zone, intermediate corridor and near zone can be used in selection of appropriate lenses to match individual specific needs.

        This research focuses on analyzing characteristics and needs of engineering students in an EFL context, which is designed as a preliminary study of content-based language instruction to develop NURI English model. For the purpose of this study, I conduct surveys and interviews on 147 engineering students to find out students’ needs and interests as well as 9 professors to recognize their notions of what language skills would benefit engineering students. The results of surveys and interviews strongly suggest the need to adopt a learner-centered level approach with which NURI English can incorporate communicative English for general and specific purposes in the field of engineering as well as TOEIC instruction. The results of this study also lead to an instructional parameter for NURI English program that requires for taking into account an instruction model of the integration of language and content for engineering students. The present study offers a few pedagogical implications for language educators who want to design a content-based language instruction model for engineering students in EFL contexts.

        The purposes of this research were to investigate home care rehabilitation services in rural areas and to collect basic data about disabled persons necessary when for carrying out rehabilitation services. Respondents were selected from six of a total of eight townships (Myon) and one town (Eup) in the Wonju city area. Wonju is in Kangwon Province (Do). Of a total of 338 names provided by the Myon offices, 298 persons were located and included registered and non-registered persons. Conditions included stroke, spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy in addition to disabilities classified as first, second or third degree, in the case of registered cases. Respondent demographic characteristics, medical characteristics, rehabilitation service needs, willingness to receive rehabilitation service and individual opinions regarding rehabilitation services were analysed by frequency and percentage. The results were as follows: 1) Rehabilitation services received by disabled persons living at home in the rural areas surrounding Wonju city were medical rehabilitation (41.7%), diagnosis (36.5%), rehabilitation assistive devices (7.6%), social assistance (7.1%), rehabilitation counseling (3.0%), vocational rehabilitation (1.8%), educational rehabilitation (1.6%) and housekeeping services (0.5%). The majority of rehabilitation services were medical rehabilitation provided at hospitals and oriental medicine hospitals. 2) Sixty point eight percent of respondents expressed their willingness to receive home care rehabilitation services. Needs expressed were highest for medical rehabilitation (27.0%), followed by social assistance (19.4%), medical examination (12.4%), physician-generated diagnosis in the home setting (11.6%), sociopsychological rehabilitation (9.3%), vocational rehabilitation (7.6%), rehabilitation engineering (6.0%), educational rehabilitation (3.3%), and housekeeping services (3.3%). 3) Rehabilitation service needs were analyzed by severity classification: 65.8% of first degree, 62.7% of second degree and 55.6% of third degree disability classification, and 62.7% of non-registered disabled individuals responded that rehabilitation service was necessary. 4) Rehabilitation service needs were also analyzed by diagnosis: 62.6% of stroke, 85.5% of amputation, 60.0% of spinal cord injury and 52.4% of traumatic brain injury respondents answered positively that they were willing to receive rehabilitation service if it were to be provided. Rehabilitation service utilization data of disabled individuals living at home in rural areas were investigated and their rehabilitation needs analyzed. This critical information can be used when community-based rehabilitation programs for disabled persons living at home are planned for provision out of a public health center or when community-based rehabilitation welfare policy is formulated.
