        Diprion hani Smith and Cho was first reported as a new species from South Korea in 2007. Major outbreaks occurred in September 2007. Outbreaks were restricted geographically to only three inland areas of central Korea where had previously been reforested with Korean white pine, Pinus koraiensis Seib. & Zucc. The outbreak areas were approximately 50 km in diameter. The sawfly populations decreased drastically in 2008. Environmental factors of the outbreak sites were investigated as a first step to characterize the sites and to understand the population dynamics of the sawfly. During the outbreak in 2007, the average temperature of the sites were 1.3℃ higher than the 30 years average, and the annual precipitation was 384 mm higher than the average from 1971 to 2000. In addition, Monodontomerus dentipes (Dalman), a well-known torymid parasitoid of many sawflies, is reported as a gregarious cocoon parasitoid of D. hani.

        Cochlodinium polykrikoides 적조는 매년 여름철에 남해안을 중심으로 발생하였으나, 2009년에는 적조가 전혀 발생되지 않았다. 본 연구는 남해안 여수부터 완도해역을 대상으로 조사정점 13개를 정하여 2007년부터 2009년까지 여름철 수질환경 및 식물플랑크톤 군집 동태를 적조가 발생된 연도(2007년과 2009년)와 적조가 발생되지 않은 연도(2009)년) 자료를 상호 비교하였다. 2009년 6월부터 남해안 집중강우로 인하여 7월의 평균수온이 20℃ 이하의 저수온과 8월에 염분이 31psu 이하의 저염분, pH가 8월에 8.4 정도를 보여 적조발생 년도에 비하여 해양환경의 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 또한 DIN 농도는 적조발생 년도에 비하여 약 2배 이상 높은 값을 보였고, N:P 및 Si:N 비율에서도 적조가 발생된 년도에 비하여 Redfield ratio가 16 이상을 나타내어 완전히 정반대의 양상을 보였다. 조사기간 동안의 대부분의 우점종으로는Chaetoceros spp., Skeletonema costatusm, Thalassiosira spp.와 같은 규조류가 대부분 출현되었고, 와편모조류로는 Ceratium spp. 등으로 나타났다. 특히 2009년 8월경에는 C. polykrikoides 대신에 Gonyaulax polygramma 종으로 적조를 형성하기도 하였다. 따라서 2009년 6월부터 집중강우 및 일조량 부족으로 인한 C. polykrikoides 대수증식기 시점에 수온, 염분 등과 같은 해양환경의 급격한 변화로 인하여 적조형성이 지연됨과 아울러 G. polygramma와 Chaetoceros 등과 같은 규조류의 세력에 밀려 2009년에는 C. polykrikoides 적조가 발생하지 않은 것으로 판단된다.

        We attempted to isolate the bacterial strains from the fruiting bodies of Agaricus brazilensis and determined their effects on browning and distortions of mushrooms. No bacterial strains were isolated when the middle of browning regions of A. brazilensis were used. Total 125 bacterial strains were obtained from the surface of browning regions and classified into 17 different genera and 29 species by using MIDI methods. Most common genus were Pseudomonas (26), Yersinia (29), and Cedecea (29).High lytic activity were detected when Pseudomonas strains were tested, while relatively low lytic activity were observed with both Yersinia and Cedecea strains.Therefore, we believed the distortion of mushroom could be the result of bacterial infections. Also, the development of brownish color was detected in large number of A. brazilensis strains only by incubation at 4C, suggesting no specific correlation between bacterial strains and brownish color development. Also, it is considered that the development of brownish color can be the normal changes of A. brazilensis.

        Global warming is one of the most buzzing words these days, as the average temperature increased up to 6.4℃ before the end of 21st century and the water level to 59cm causing severe draught, heavy snowfall, and monster typhoon all over the world. The capacity of natural ecosystem will not be able to contain such changes. Many of the species will be endangered and some of them are warned to be extinct, and accordingly water and food supply will not meet the demand of human. In 2007, IPCC, Inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change, made fourth report about global warming and estimated that the CO2 content in the atmosphere increased about 1.35 times to 379ppm at 2005 from 280ppm before the industrialization period pulling the average air temperature up by 0.7℃ a year. The water level as well increased by 1.8mm a year as the polar iceberg and permanent snow melt down. Global warming caused by environmental pollution and greenhouse gas may lead to the increase of price of not only agricultural product but also the industrial products as a consequence, a phenomenon so called Ecoflation, Ecology+inflation. IPCC forecasted that if the present phase use of fossil energy continues the air temperature in 2090-2099 will increase by 4℃ and the water level by 26-59cm compared to that of 1980-1999, warning particularly that the average increase of global temperature by 1.5-2.5℃ a year will put the species of 20-30% into danger of extinction. According to the report by the Korea National Statistical Office about the effect of climate change on the production of agriculture and fishery, the cultivation area of apple which is typical temperate fruit decreased to 29,204ha in 2007 from 52,447ha in 1992. On the other hand the cultivation area of peach increased greatly to 15,014ha(2005) compared to 12,000ha in 1996 as it became possible to grow wherever in Korea. Similar change can also be found for orange and grape, orange can be grown in Jeonnam and Kyuongnam province, and grape in Kangwon province. Jeju island and southern coastal area of Korea worry about the inhabitation of subtropical pests when they invade these area, in fact the pest outbreak as a result of the increase of generation a year is ever more frequent. The typical examples are Paratlanticus ussuriensis (Uvarov), the lantern fly, Lycorma delicatula, and the fruit moths like Carposina sasakii Walsingham.

        This study was undertaken to analyze the hygienic problems of group food services and to predict the outbreak patterns of future food-borne diseases. A delphi survey with 20 experts identified the main causes of food-borne outbreaks in group food services as improper hygienic management of raw food materials, washing of worker's hands, dividing the spaces and unsanitary retail storage. Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Escherichia coli (EPEC), non-typhoid Salmonella serotypes, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli (ETEC), norovirus, and the hepatitis A virus all have potential to cause outbreaks of food-borne disease. We analyzed the daily food use and the possibility of food-borne outbreaks in school food services for fruits, milk, fish, pork, eggs, and meat as raw food materials, and bibimbab, soybean sprouts muchim, spinach namul , cucumber sengchae, jabchae, and pork bulgogi as prepared food items. Frozen ( ≤ -20℃) and refrigerated (0~10℃) processed foods are popular items in group food services. Their storage, heating, and chemical sanitization methods are potential sources of food disease outbreaks. Our results can be applied to a well-organized hygiene control system and can be used to develop menus for preventing food-borne outbreaks.

        The main objective of this study is to find factors and typical characteristics on outbreak of musculoskeletal disorders in small sized companies which are located at eastern area in Kangwon-Do. Musculoskeletal disorders are becoming a serious problem in various industrial fields. Many researches have been focused on the analysis on outbreak of musculoskeletal disorders in order to reduce and prevent them. As a similar endeavor, this paper provides factor analysis on outbreak of musculoskeletal disorders. Questionnaire surveys regarding musculoskeletal disorders were conducted for the total number of 250 field workers. For the purpose of this study, seven independent variables(gender, age, career, housework, accident, trouble, and pain) are taken from questionnaires. The provided analysis result will be helpful as a starting point for root cause analysis and reduction of musculoskeletal disorders and also for establishment of safe work environments.

        본시험은 붕소시용이 잎담배의 생리적특성과 입고병 발생에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 황색종인 NC2326, Coker 86을 공시하여 입고병포장에서 실시한바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 붕소시용량이 증가할수록 지상부의 생장이 지연되었고 간장은 낮아졌으나 붕우시용구에서 세근발달이 억제되고 뿌리의 부패율과 입고병이병율이 크게 감소 되여 입고병발생에 간접적인 효과가 있었다. 2. 수량은 10a당 붕소 또는 붕산 시용구에서 높았고 붕소시용에 따른 증수경향은 NC2326에서 컸다. 3. 건엽중의 Phenol 화합물은 붕소시용구에서 증가하였고 입고병저항성이 큰 Coker 86에서 더 많았으며 니코친합량은 붕소시용량이 증가할수록 감소하였다.

        The infection rate of soybean black root rot disease caused by Calonectria crotalariae was about . The isolated fungi from the infected soybean roots and stems were Calonectria crotalariae, Fusarium solani, F. roseum, Phomopsis sojae, Pythium aphanidermatum, Rhizoctonia solani and Macrophomina sp. Among them, C. crotalariae was the most virulent pathogen under the laboratory conditions. Mycelial growth and microsclerotial formation were good on PSA containing 1000cc of water, 100g of potato and 20g of sugar. Mycelial growth, sporulation and microsclerotial formation were good on sterilized root. Perithecial formation was better in the dark condition than in the light. Survival of macroconidia was not available between soil water content. Microsclerotia and mycelium in infected plant debris were survived for 4 months at to soil water content. The plant height, when inoculated with inoculum density, reached approximately half of uninoculated plants. Disease severity was much higher at nonsterilized soil than completely sterilized soil. It was determined that the host range of this pathogen includes soybean, peanut, green bean and red bean.

        1) 수도 도열병에 저항성이었던 관옥 품종이 1969년에 와서 저항성이 역전된 원인을 분석하였다. 2) 경기도지방 16개 지역의 이병된 관옥품종에서 분리한 균주는 15개의 C계통 레이스와 1개의 N계통 레이스로 판정되었다. C계통 레이스 중에는 C-8이 9균주, C-7과 C-1이 각각 2균주, 그 나머지는 C-1과 유사한 것이 1균주이고 C-5와 유사한 것이 1균주였다. 3) 도열병에 대하여 고도로 저항성이었던 관옥품종은 중국계통의 벼를 침해 한 수 있는 C레이스의 만연에 기인되었다고 결론지을 수 있다.

        본 연구는 먼저 국가 안보 위기와 급변하는 정치 상황에서 교회가 평화를 위해 어떤 역할을 할 수 있는지에 대한 질문을 제기한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 한국전쟁 발발의 국제적 영향과 냉전체제 내에서 전쟁의 위협에 대응하여 서독의 외교정책이 어떻게 변화해 왔는지 살펴본다. 또한 서독 총리 아데나워가 추진한 서독 재무장 정책이 서독 사회와 독일 개신교에서 어떻게 받아들여졌는지를 추적한다. 한국전쟁이 발발했을 때 독일인들은 독일에서 새로운 전쟁이 일어날까 두려워했다. 이러한 이유로 서독 수상 아데나워는 서독의 재무장을 추진했다. 재무장 정책에 대한 서독의 의견은 엇갈렸다. 독일 개신교회 내부에서도 서독의 재무장을 둘러싼 논쟁이 벌어졌다. 마틴 니묄러와 그의 그룹은 아데나워의 재무장 정책에 강력하게 반대했다. 그러나 다른 그룹은 먼저 서독이 재무장하고 유럽 안보에 기여해야 한다고 주장했다. 이러한 독일 개신교회의 논쟁 속에서 이 연구는 교회가 평화를 위해 무엇을 했고, 무엇을 할 수 있었는지를 연구한다.
