        Dendrolimus superans (Lepidoptera: Lasiocampidae) has long been acknowledged to present in South Korea under the circumstance of a substantial change in species names of Dendrolimus. In the present study, we found that specimens of D. superans collected from South Korea were D. sibiricus, rather than D. superans. Comparison of Korean specimens to the D. superans from Japan and the D. sibiricus from Russia in terms of wing morphology, female and male genitalia, a partial COI gene sequence, and a partial internal spacer sequence 2 (ITS2) consistently supported the presence of D. sibiricus in South Korea. Phylogenetic analyses using concatenated sequences of COI and ITS2 from available individuals of D. sibiricus and D. superans both by Bayesian inference and maximum likelihood methods the Korea samples to be D. sibiricus.

        How does the presence of an AGN in uence the total SFR estimates of galaxies and change their distribution with respect to the Galaxy Main Sequence? To contribute to solving this question, we study a sample of 1133 sources detected in the North Ecliptic Pole field (NEP) by AKARI and Herschel. We create a multi-wavelength dataset for these galaxies and we fit their multi-wavelength Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) using the whole spectral regime (from 0.1 to 500 μm). We perform the fit using three procedures: LePhare and two optimised codes for identifying AGN tracers from the SED analysis. In this work we present an overview of the comparison between the estimates of the Infrared bolometric luminosi- ties (between 8 and 1000 μm) and the AGN fractions obtained exploiting these di erent procedures. In particular, by estimating the AGN contribution in four different wavelength ranges (5-40 μm, 10-20 μm, 20-40 μm and 8-1000 μm) we show how the presence of an AGN affects the PAH emission by suppressing the ratio L8 μm L4:5 μm as a function of the considered wavelength range.

        Nanosized hollow silica was prepared by Stӧber method in the presence of aluminum isopropoxide. The mixture of polyelectrolytes such as poly(sodium 4-styrene sulfonate)(PSS) and polyacrylic acid(PAA) were used as templates. Tetraethylorthosilicate(TEOS) and aluminum isopropoxide were used as precursors for silica and alumina, respectively. The function of aluminum isopropoxide is to increase the porosity of silica shell. The characterizations of hollow silica were examined by TEM(transmission electron microscopy), TGA(thermogravimetric analysis), BET(Brunauer Emmett Teller), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS), and FT-IR spectrum. It was found that the shell thickness of hollow silica was around 8 nm and the core diameter was around 20 nm by TEM.

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of display on time on tasks and virtual presence in the immersive virtual reality. Head mounted display (HMD) and monitor conditions were compared when the participants were asked to complete navigation tasks in a virtual classroom. Time on tasks and virtual presence were measured. Three factors of the virtual presence were applied as dependent variables such as 1) spatial presence, 2) involvement, and 3) realness. The results showed that HMD condition took longer time to finish tasks than monitor conditions. HMD condition showed significantly higher perception from all of the virtual presence factors. Interestingly, there was a significant interaction effect between the display conditions and presence factors. The relationship between display types and virtual presence factors were discussed for future study.

        제조나노물질의 발전으로 이를 이용한 제품들이 늘어남에 따라 상수 내 나노 물질에 대한 잠재 위해성 논란이 제기되어 왔다. 응집과 같은 기존 나노물질 처리 방법에 비해 막 분리법은 2차 오염물이 없고 재사용이 가능하기 때문에 각광받고 있다. 하지만 수계환경 변화로 인한 나노물질의 특성변화에 따른 막 기 반 공정 내 나노물질 거동에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서 는 국내에서 사용되고 있는 대표 제조나노물질인 Ag, ZnO, TiO2의 수계 내 유 기물 존재여부에 따른 특성을 분석하고 막기반 상수처리 공정에서의 거동을 평가하고자 하였다. SR-NOM을 대표 자연유기물로 평가하였으며 상수 내 SR-NOM의 유/무에 따른 나노물질들의 응집성 등의 변화가 막기반 공정 결과에 영향을 주었음을 확인하였다.

        “비전,” “비잔티움,” “탑”으로 점철되는 예이츠의 플라토닉한 과업인 현 실에서 실재로의 항해의 차원과는 달리 지젝은 인간이 상징적, 물리적 현실을 탈피하여 실재로의 이행이 사실상 불가능하다고 보아 현실과 실재가 분리되는 것이 아니라 오히 려 구체적인 현실이 실재의 단서임을 주장함으로써 신-플라톤주의를 함의한다. 이 점은 지젝이 애독하는 라캉의 훔쳐진 편지 (The Purloined Letter)에 대한 독해에도 드러난 다. 이와 달리 예이츠는 무의식의 실재를 신비로운 영역으로 바라봄으로써 프로이트의 입장을, 지젝은 무의식의 실재를 기호로 바라봄으로써 라캉의 견해를 지지한다고 볼 수 있다. 라캉이 프로이트의 텍스트를 확대재생산하듯이 지젝 또한 라캉의 텍스트를 확대 재생산하고 있다. 하여튼 예이츠와 지젝은 현실의 공간을 넘어 혹은 현실의 공간 안에 서 실재를 탐색한다는 점이 니체적인 불멸성의 비전을 공유한다고 볼 수 있다.

        본 연구는 야생동물의 존재에 대한 인식 및 야생동물의 종류에 따라 국립공원 방문객의 휴양경험의 종류 및 질에 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상지역은 지리산국립공원이며 2014년 5-6월 중, 성삼재 휴게소와 노고단 대피소 이용객을 대상으로 편의 추출된 502명과 전남대학교 대학생을 대상으로 편의 추출된 173명의 표본으로부터 모의조작 사진(곰과 고라니)과 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 전반적으로 국립공원 내 서식 야생동물의 존재에 대한 인지에 따른 장소 속성에 대한 지각(혼잡성, 자연성, 안전성) 및 휴양경험의 종류에 차이가 없었다. 그러나 반달곰의 존재에 대한 인지도가 높은 그룹은 낮은 그룹에 비해 지리산국립공원이 '야생' 또는 ‘자연경험’에 더 가까운 휴양기회를 제공한다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 야생동물의 종류에 따라서 장소속성에 대한 지각과 응답자가 느끼는 휴양경험의 종류에도 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 곰 또는 고라니 노출 그룹이 컨트롤 그룹에 비해 ‘야생’에 더 가까운 휴양경험을 느꼈다. 국립공원 내 야생동물의 존재는 응답자의 휴양경험의 질에 긍정적 작용을 하는 것으로 나타났으며 야생동물의 종류에 따라서도 응답자가 느끼는 휴양경험의 질에 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과에 대한 시사점을 국립공원 야생동물의 관리적 관점에서 제시하였다.

        This research examines the effect of luxury brand's logo on disparity between explicit and implicit attitudes. Using implicit association test, the results show that there is no correlation between implicit attitude and explicit attitude towrd a luxury product when luxury brand's logo is present (i.e., Prada). In contrast, implicit attitude and explicit attitude are negatively correlated when luxury logo is absent (i.e., Bottega Veneta).

        본 연구는 공급자(supplier)가 중간 유통자(wholesaler/retailer)의 수요 증대를 목적으로 중간 유통자의 주문량에 따라 차별적으로 외상 기간을 허용한다는 기본적인 가정 하에 중간 유통자의 재고 모형을 다루었다. 문제 분석을 위하여 최종 고객(customer)의 수요는 중간 유통자의 재고 수준에 따라 선형적(linearly)으로 증가한다는 가정하에 모형을 분석하였고, 모형 분석을 통하여 중간 유통자의 이익을 최대화하는 경제적 주문주기와 경제적 주문량 결정 방법을 제시하고, 예제를 통하여 그 제시된 해법의 타당성을 보였다.

        생명공학 기술의 발달로 산업적으로 이용 가치가 높은LMO를 만들기 위해 끊임없는 노력이 이뤄지고 있다. 이러한다양한 시도로 인하여 향후 상용화될 LMO에 대한 위해성 평가와 안전관리는 지속적으로 보완 발전되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 우리나라에서 이뤄지고 있는 LMO 생태계 안전관리 위해성 심사 과정을 조명하였다. LMO의 생태계위해성심사는 LMO법에 따른 통합고시 별표 10-1에 명시된 항목에근거하여 수행하고 있다. 평가 자료의 위해성 심사 영역은 자연환경위해성을 평가하기 위하여 생물종 위해성 판단 영역, 도입유전자 위해성 판단 영역, 주변 생태계 영향 판단 영역으로나누어 진행하고 있다. 최근 신기술 개발에 따른 LMO 심사의 범위와 항목에 여러 제약이 존재한다. 따라서 생태계 위해성 안전관리를 위해 신기술로 생산된 LMO에 대한 다각적인논의가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

        In the present work, WO3 and WO3-TiO2 were prepared by the chemical deposition method. Structural variations, surface state and elemental compositions were investigated for preparation of WO3-TiO2 sonocatalyst. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were employed for characterization of these new photocatalysts. A rhodamine B (Rh.B) solution under ultrasonic irradiation was used to determine the catalytic activity. Excellent catalytic degradation of an Rh.B solution was observed using the WO3-TiO2 composites under ultrasonic irradiation. Sonocatalytic degradation is a novel technology of treating wastewater. During the ultrasonic treatment of aqueous solutions sonoluminescence, cavitaties and "hot spot" occurred, leading to the dissociation of water molecules. In case of a WO3 coupled system, a semiconductor coupled with two components has a beneficial role in improving charge separation and enhancing TiO2 response to ultrasonic radiations. In case of the addition of WO3 as new matter, the excited electrons from the WO3 particles are quickly transferred to TiO2 particle, as the conduction band of WO3 is 0.74 eV which is -0.5 eV more than that of TiO2. This transfer of charge should enhance the oxidation of the adsorbed organic substrate. The result shows that the photocatalytic performance of TiO2 nanoparticles was improved by loading WO3.

        This study aims to comparatively analyze lower extremity joint moment during the take-off phase in high jump and thus to provide the basic data for enhancement of highschool students' high jump skills. 2 highschool students - one males and one females - were chosen for the experiment in which the 3D image analyzer and ground reaction force measuring unit were adopted. The results are as follows: Similar to the changing patterns from lower extremity joint moment but, moment values it turned out that male were better than female. The flexion and extension moment of lower extremity were most significant, abduction and adduction, medial rotation and lateral rotation were relatively small. The moment value in sagittal plane, frontal plane, transverse plane were appeared larger in the order of hip joint-knee joint-ankle joint. The muscle activity of knee joint and hip joint were acts in conjunction with sequential knee joint-hip joint.

        This paper analyses the sensory responses of Chinese female consumers towards different designs of perfume bottles with particular attention to the existence of logos on them. We used total 40 samples of the perfume bottles, 20 with logos on them and 20 without, and the results show that young Chinese female consumers prefer simple designs over complex designs that contain different types of free curves with vivid colors. In addition, the existence of logos on bottles was found not to change the responses significantly, meaning that the logos on bottles do not affect sensibility of Chinese female towards perfume bottles. A logo's impacts on the bottle depended in part on the bottle's color and shape. Overall, a perfume bottle with simple shapes and light colors became regarded as more resplendent when the logo was added, but a bottle with more complex shapes and vivid colors tended to become regarded as plainer after adding the logo. This shows that a logo serves as a conciliatory element in the impression of the whole bottle in the 'resplendent-plain' category.

        Interferon-tau (IFNT) is regarded, generally, to be the conceptus protein that signals maternal recognition of pregnancy in ruminants. Although the discovery was made over two decades ago, the molecular mechanisms that regulate IFNT expression are not well understood. Previous studies demonstrated that transcription factors, caudal-related homeobox- 2 (CDX2), JUN, ETS2 and a transcriptional coactivator CREB binding protein (CREBBP) positively influenced IFNT gene expression, while OCT4 may exhibit negative regulation. We and others have observed that both CDX2 and OCT4 coexist during early stages of conceptus elongation but as development proceeds, OCT4 expression diminishes. The objective of this study was to evaluate the stimulatory and inhibitory effects of CDX2 and OCT4, respectively, on IFNT gene transcription when evaluated with other transcription factors. Human choriocarcinoma JEG3 cells were co-transfected with an ovine IFNT (-654 base pair)-luciferase reporter (-654-oIFNT-Luc) construct and several transcription factor expression plasmids. When the reporter construct was co-transfected with either CDX2, ETS2 or CJUN, transcription of -654-oIFNT-Luc increased about two-fold compared to -654-oIFNT-Luc alone. When -654-oIFNT-Luc was co-transfected with both c-jun and Ets-2, activity of -654-oIFNT-Luc was increased about four-fold; cotransfection with JUN, ETS2 and CDX2 increased -654-oIFNT-Luc expression 12X, indicating that the stimulatory activity of the transcription factors was additive. OCT4, when cotransfected with -654-oIFNT-Luc, reduced expression of the later about 40% when compared to -654-oIFNT-Luc alone. When co-transfected with JUN and/or ETS2, OCT4 abolished the stimulatory effect of these transcription factors. OCT4 also inhibited the stimulatory activity of CDX2 alone, but not when CDX2 was combined with JUN and/or ETS2. Therefore, when combined with the other transcription factors, CDX2 over the transcriptional inhibitory activity of OCT4. Conversely, when cells were transfected initially with OCT4 (0h) followed by transfection with CDX2, ETS2 and JUN 24 h later, -654-oIFNT-Luc expression was reduced to control (-654-oIFNT-Luc, alone) levels. Not surprisingly, 12S E1A, an inhibitor of transcriptional coactivator CREBBP, reduced stimulation of -654- oIFNT-Luc expression by CDX2, ETS2 and JUN, in combination, by about 40%, indicating that proper transcription complex formation is required for maximum expression. In conclusion, it is suggested that prior to conceptus elongation, pre-existing OCT4 may inhibit IFNT expression, but as elongation proceeds, IFNT expression increases, resulting from incremental increases in CDX2 expression, diminished OCT4 expression, and possibly proper transcription factor complex formation.         With the confirmation of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and as cheap foreign agricultural products are beginning to be freely distributed in Korea, the government has taken a greater interest in securing the competitiveness of domestic agriculture. Accordingly, the Korean government has presented plans to advance the interests of ‘small but strong farmers’ and secure their competitiveness in line with the agricultural conditions in Korea. The government also announced that it will focus on leading these efforts in rural areas. The main thrust of this plan to support ‘small but strong farmers’ focuses onutilizing advanced peripheral technologies such as IT and BT; however, there are only a few Information Management Division centers currentlyoperating across the nation, and these are mainly in the IT-related divisions of the Agricultural Research and Extension Services and Agricultural Technology Centers. Therefore, in this study, we used the responses from a survey of farmers to identify regional differences in informatization levels and the digital divide among ‘small but strong farmers’ according to the presence or absence of an Information Management Division center. As a result, we found that the ‘small but strong farmers’ in regions with an active Information Management Division center received more IT services and had a higher level of informatization. Thus, to increase the use of IT-related peripheral technology by these ‘small but strong farmers’, it is important to maintain or increase the number of Information Management Division centers.

        예이츠는 인간의 정체, 존재의 이유, 삶과 죽음과 같은 궁극적인 물음에 일평생 세계의 어느 철인 못지않게 사색과 탐색을 거듭하였다. 본고에서는 인간이 지상에서 살아가지만 피안의 실재를 향한 치열한 탐색을 예이츠의 시작품을 통해서 살펴보고 그의 궁극적인 물음에 대해 그리스도의 은총을 입어 인간의 구원에 헌신한 중세의 아퀴나스의 신학적 입장을 들어본다. 본고의 결론은 사물의 실재가 공허하지만 인간의 내면에 엄연히 존재하기에 만물의 제작자인 하나님이 실재하시며 이에 대한 동의 유무는 어디까지나 자유의지에 의한 선택의 문제라고 주장한다.

        Not only in the text, but also with the text, linguistic image comes into being. This means that it cannot only be interpreted, but it can also be presented physically. Here begins the issue of ‘presence culture’ as a relative concept of ‘meaning culture’. The so-called ‘pictorial/iconic turn’ sheds light on this material character of text. The text as a type of image presents itself sensately and enters spatially into relations with us. This iconization of text reminds us of the long history regarding the connection between image and text. In artistic tradition, such as text-labyrinth, micrography and concrete poem, the iconic text produces the meaning not only with the aid of grammatical structure, but also with visual sequence. The characters as abstract elements produce a visual form, and they create sensation and life in its visual sequence. The text constitutes a meta-code of image, in that it makes a visual form as such, and the image also becomes a meta-code of text because it restructures the text visually. In this way, image and text coalesce in a type of circular and dialectic relationship. This conglomerate finds a possibility in the artificial life art and bio art. In the artistic practice of computer algorithm and DNA scripts, it has an opportunity to be changed not only into aesthetic life but also into real life. The combination of characters does not make a sentence nor a visual form, but builds levels where real life can be emergent. Although we cannot explain why, there is a marvellous change, while the characters are combined, arranged, and changed chemically, physiologically, and electrically. Indeed, this kind of emergence of life completes the idea of presence. The image. or the text. does not only represent the reality, it also constitutes levels of life, presents itself, and becomes a life.

        본 논문은 브라이언 프리엘의 작품세계에서 드러나거나 또는 숨겨져 있는 예이츠의 영향의 다층적 성격을 『케스 맥과이어의 사랑』, 『번역』, 『귀족들』의 텍스트 분석을 통해 규명한다. 예이츠와 프리엘의 관계는 이들의 문학이 시대적, 개인적 차이에도 불구하고 결국 당대의 첨예한 사회적 모순에 불가분하게 맞물려있는 자기모순적이고 분열된 자아의 정체성을 재구성하려는 작가적 시도라는 공통점에서 출발하고 또 그 공통점으로 귀결된다.
