        PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to evaluate the properties of eco-friendly waterproofing materials for bridge decks. METHODS: Various waterproofing materials and construction methods that are widely used in Korea were evaluated. Then, the problems in field application were identified. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to improve constructability and stability. Thus, the properties of heating waterproofing membranes and waterproofing systems using recycling additives were evaluated. In addition, a field test was conducted to ensure the construct-ability and stability. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS : Waterproofing materials were developed using waste tires and carbon black the results of the softening point test, tensile adhesion test, and shear adhesion test. A new sheet system, which consists of mesh and vinyl, was also determined from the sheet test. The properties of waterproofing materials were better than those developed under the "A Asphalt Concrete Pavement Construction Guidelines" according to the results of laboratory tests and the report of the authorized testing agency. Finally, the field test showed that the materials met quality standards. In future research, it will be necessary to conduct continuous field tests and follow-up inspections.

        본 연구에서는 건설 구조물에 사용되는 건설 자재 중 콘크리트 구조체에 전면 부착 시공되어 건축물의 내외부로부터 스며들거나 넘쳐흐르는 물을 막을 수 있는 차단마감재인 방수재료에 있어 가속 환경 조건 속의 지하 외벽에서의 방수 성능 설계의 일환으로 내진 성능 설계 가능성을 제안하고 그 품질검증 시험방법에 대해 검토하였다. 국내외 건설자재 내진설계 현황을 살펴보았을 때, 국내의 경우 아직까지 현행법상 건축 과정에서의 내진설계 규제는 있지만 자재에 대한 규제는 없어 내진용 제품군이 드물고 대부분 시공법에 의존하고 있는 상황이다. 국외의 경우 일본, 캐나다, 독일과 같이 비구조재에 내진성능을 부여한 다양한 건축자재가 개발되고 있음을 확일 할 수 있었고, 이러한 내진설계 개념은 앞장에서 살펴본 바와 같이, 지하 콘크리트 구조체에 전면접착 혹은 부분 부착되어 시공되는 선행 외방수재료에 있어 지진에 대한 보완 대응력을 가질 수 있다면 내진 설계된 구조체와 함께 누수 예방 및 방지 기술로서 그 적용성을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        This study proposes a selection method of a performance evaluation index of waterproofing and anti corrosion materials used in domestic water treatment facilities for material and construction failures based on different usage and environmental conditions to study the possibility of structural performance maintenance. Different types of waterproofing・anti-corrosion materials have been evaluated based on their respective properties, and have been classified into separate categories based on their case studies of material failures in construction. As a result, 12 different performance evaluation indexes have been produced for the performance evaluation method. Among the 12 performance evaluation index 5 were selected with relatively low importance that produced a low value of 60% importance using AHP analysis method, and conclusively proposed 7 performance evaluation index criteria (wet surface adhesion, fatigue resistance, crack resistance, adhesion performance, joint performance, impact resistance, impermeability)

        In this study, the chemical resistance of polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials that is applied to the social infrastructure was analyzed. Mostly, there are three the main materials which is polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion, polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion, polyurethan-polyurea waterproofing and anti-corrosion, and polyurethane waterproofing and anti-corrosion were analyzed as the specimen. As a result of chemically resistant characteristic to three kinds of polyure type materials, it’s polyurethane, polyurea-urethane, and polyurea were arranged in the order. This order is generally predictable order that is expected by any user, but it was settled first by the quantitative evidence of chemical evaluation in this time. And, the result in this study will be utilizing as a basic data for establishing the quality standards which are able to judge the chemically resistant characteristic of polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials.

        Recently, most underground structures are used parking lot and artificial ground greening is growing on the top of the structures also. Various waterproofing-root resistance materials and methods has been developing to artificial ground greening system based on concrete structures. However, It is hard to confirm proper quality control standard of waterproofing-root resistance materials because of complicated environment and conditions of special site which is artificial ground greening. This study goals to develop a evaluaion techniques to mak sure of the long term stability waterproofing-root resistance material on artificial ground greening system.

        With the recent increased awareness of underground water as a resource and detection of radioactive material called radon in underground, underground waterproofing system is newly regard as not only ensuring stability and durability of the structure but also preserving underground water, safety of employee working underground structure, protecting of facilities and comfortable use. For these reasons, constructing industry have highly demanded feasible underground waterproofing system that responding long-life and high-performance new material and developing waterproof performance evaluation techniques. Therefore, this study attempts to build environmental responding waterproof system with high adhesive sealant material and setting a manual of field application in waterproofing construction technique.

        With the recent decreasing of available land, the usage of underground for constructing underground parking lots, subway, underground shopping centers and roads is becoming more frequent than before. Subsequently, due to the changes of the ecosystems and the depletion of ground water in the underground environments are being negatively affected due to coming into contact with corrosive and hazardous substances. In particular, the durability, safety and convenience of the people who reside or utilize these underground structures are reduced by the environmental problems originating from underground ecosystems. Currently there exist a large number of on-going topics of discussion intended to solve the problems, but in order to consolidate a proper and standardized procedure of maintaining waterproofing techniques for these underground structures, a testing method to evaluate the performance of waterproofing and waterleakage resistance in underground structures is necessary.

        최근 ‘먹는 물’에 대한 인식이 높아지고 양질의 물에 대한 요구가 이어짐에 따라 정수처리 시설은 수처리 시설을 확대하고 있다. 이에따라 수처리시설에 적용되는 콘크리트 구조물 내부 방수⋅방식재의 개발 및 기준 마련의 필요성이 높아지면서 최근 활발한 연구가 진행중이다. 하지만, 주로 상도의 내구성 향상에 집중된 연구의 한계성으로 콘크리트 표면과 하도 (프라이머)와의 부착력에 대한 연구가 부족한실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수처리시설의 내부 방수⋅방식재로서 사용되는 프라이머와 콘크리트 표면간의 부착력을 확인하고, 콘크리트 표면 상태 (건조 상태, 습윤 상태, 수압상태)에 따른 부착강도 및 특성에 대하여 알아보고자 한다.
