        As the environmental impacts of fossil fuel energy sources increase, the South Korean government has tried to change non-environmental- friendly enery sources to environmental-friendly energy sources in order to mitigate environmental effects, which lead to global warming and air pollution. With both a limited budget and limited time, it is essential to accurately evaluate the economic and environmental effects of renewable energy projects for the efficient and effective operation of renewable energy plants. Although the traditional economic evaluation methods are not ideal for evaluating the economic impacts of renewable energy projects, they can still be used for this purpose. Renewable energy projects involve many risks due to various uncertainties. For this reason, this study utilizes a real option method, the Geske compound model, to evaluate the renewable energy projects on Jeju Island in terms of economic and environmental values. This study has developed an economic evaluation model based on the Geske compound model to investigate the influences of flexibility and uncertainty factors on the evaluation process. This study further conducts a sensitivity analysis to examine how two uncertainty factors (namely, investment cost and wind energy production) influence the economic and environmental value of renewable energy projects.

        본 연구는 한우 암소비육에 있어서 고 에너지의 육성용 TMR(TDN 72.7%DM, CP 13.65%DM)을 육성기(8~12개월령) 및 비육기(13~24개월령)까지는 제한급여하고, 이후 비육 마무리기(25~32개월령)까지 자유 채식시켰을 때, 증체수준, 도체특성 및 경제성에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 수행되었다. 공시축은 한우 암소 35두(8개월령)를 이용하여 Control구(5두), T1(10두), T2(10두) 및 T3(10두)구로 나누어 난괴법으로 배치하였다. 공시사료는 전기간 동일한 육성용 TMR을 Control구에서는 자유채식 시켰고, T1, T2, T3구에서는 각각 체중의 1.8%, 1.6% 및 1.5%로 제한하여 24개월령까지 급여하였다. 한우 암소의 체중은 비육마무리기간에서 Control구에 비해 T1, T2 및 T3 처리구가 각각 4.9%, 3.6% 및 2.5% 높은 것으로 나타났다 (p<0.05). 일일증체량은 육성기에는 Control구와 T1구가 다른 처리구에 비해 높았으며(p<0.05), 비육마무리기의 T1 처리구가 다른 처리구에 비해 높았다(p<0.05). 건물섭취량과 TDN 섭취량은 비육마무리기간에서 T1구가 가장 높았다(p<0.05). 고 에너지의 육성우용 TMR을 전 기간동안 급여함으로써 도체중과 배최장근 단면적이 일반적인 한우 암소비육 결과에 비해 현저히 증가되었다. 처리구별 도체중은 Control구에 비해 T1구가 약 11.6% 많았으며(p<0.05), 지방색과 성숙도는 Control구에서 높았다(p<0.05). 근내지방도, 육색 및 조직감은 처리구간 유의적 차이는 없었으나, 육량등급 출현율에 있어서는 Control구에서 A등급이 60%로서 다른 처리구에 비해 높았다. 육질등급에서 1++ 등급 출현율은 Control, T1, T2 및 T3구에서 각각 0%, 20%, 20% 및 0%로 나타났다. 순수익은 Control구에 비해 T1과 T2구가 각각 15% 및 13% 증가되었으나 T3구는 2% 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 한우 미경산우 비육 시, 고에너지의 육성용 사료를 육성기부터 비육기(13~24개월령)까지 체중의 1.8% 수준으로 제한 급여하는 것이 전 기간 동안 자유채식시키는 것보다 도체중이나 육질등급 증가로 경제성이 향상되어 한우암소 고급육생산 프로그램 개발에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        It is important to develop the smart ventilation system in order to minimize a building energy consumption using ventilation. In this study, We evaluated the efficiency of the smart ventilation system being developed at the nursery. To evaluate the energy savings and carbon dioxide removal efficiency, two kinds of experimental conditions were compared. First, air conditioner and Smart HVAC system were operated. Second, air conditioner was operating and external air was put into the inside by rate of air circulation. It was more effective when working with air conditioning and ventilation system at the same time. If the Smart HVAC system is applied in a multi-use facility, indoor air quality will be comfortable and the social cost will be reduced.

        This study analyzed whether there are mediating effects of government policies between the inputs and the economic performances of Korean bioenergy companies-this was accomplished by applying a mediating analysis by PROCESS Macro ver 2.16.3 (Hayes, 2013) based on a survey from the bioenergy companies. The analysis found that the increase in inputs of the Korean bioenergy companies affected the increase of performance through the government policies. In addition, comparing the mediating effects of detailed policies, this study found that said effects were greater in the order of RPS(Renewable Portfolio Standard) > the price variation of electricity = the obligation of greenhouse gas reduction > the changes in business scale based on RPS·RFS(Renewable Fuel Standard). However, it was found that the price variation of transportation fuels and RFS did not make a significant difference. There are two political implications of this study. First, to enhance the economic performance of bioenergy companies, the Korean government should keep the expanding trend of the current RPS. Second, the government needs to emphasize the importance of biofuels for transportation and make policies to develop related industries.

        2016년 11월 4일 신기후체제인 파리협약이 발효되었다. 국내도 자체적으로 온실가스 감축을 위한 노력을 기울여 왔으나 2020년 이후 국제협약에 의해 감축을 이행한다는 점을 고려하면 구체적이고 신뢰성 있는 방안 마련이 필요하다. 산업이나 발전부문 이외에 폐기물부문도 감축을 위한 방안 마련이 필요하다. 제1차 기후변화대응 기본계획에 폐기물부문은 발생억제와 재활용 그리고 에너지화에 의한 감축 방안이 담겨있다. 그러나 실질적으로 어느 정도의 감축효과가 있는지 그리고 신뢰성이 있는지에 대해서는 객관적으로 검증한 바 없다. 이러한 점에서 앞서 교토의정서에 의해 온실가스 감축을 체계적으로 감축해 온 EU의 폐자원에너지가 온실가스 감축에 기여하는 정도와 역할에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 앞으로 폐기물부문의 온실가스 감축 방안을 보다 신뢰성이 있는 방향으로 전개하기 위해서는 선도적으로 대응해 온 국가의 대응 방안을 살펴보는 것도 의미가 있기 때문이다. 한편 EU는 지속가능한 발전을 위해 자원효율(Resource Efficiency) 정책을 펼치고 있다. 그 동력원으로 순환경제를 추진하고 있는데 시책으로 2015년 12월 순환경제패키지를 책정하였다. 순환경제는 EU의 경제 성장을 유지하면서도 자원이용으로 인한 환경영향은 증가시키지 않기 위한 디커플링(Decoupling) 실현을 목표로 하고 있다. 순환경제에서 폐기물을 2차원료나 물질로 우선적으로 이용하고 재활용이 가능하지 않은 폐기물에 대해서는 최대한 에너지로 회수하기 위한 시책도 함께 이뤄지고 있다. 기후변화 대응과 순환경제로의 이행을 위한 폐자원에너지의 역할을 EU 중심으로 살펴본 결과, 국내도 기후변화 대응과 순환경제 사회를 구축하기 위해서는 폐기물관리 정책부문에서 폐자원에너지에 대한 역할을 조명하고 폐자원에너지 산업을 활성화하기 위한 방안마련이 필요함을 확인하였다.

        The whole world concentrates on the reduction of greenhouse gas to effectively cope with policy toward global climate change. To effectively react to climate change, even the agricultural sector requires construction of new farming systems that utilizes new and renewable energy because of rising oil prices and regulations for greenhouse gas emissions. For this reason, we need to fuse the new and renewable energy with the horticulture sector of which the light and heat energy cost accounts for great part, moreover, efforts and researches should me done which can increase income of farmers through reducing carbon dioxide and energy cost in agricultural production expenses. Therefore, this study analyzes economic feasibility and applicability of fusing geothermal heat pump and solar power facilities with high-tech glass greenhouse. As a result, it is concluded that there surely are an applicability and economic feasibility if we apply new development system that can be an alternative for problems of securing premises of existing geothermal heat pump and the RPS system as a power generation company in case of solar power. Therefore, using this analysis data, if new empirical studies fusing and implementing agriculture sector with new and renewable energy fields proliferate and be applied to actual rural and agricultural field, it will increase actual income and will become a new advanced agricultural system that effectively deals with world-wide environmental problems.

        We are now currently facing serious climate changes such as super typhoon, flood, intense heat, severe cold, super hurricane, drought, desertification, destruction of ecosystem, marine pollution, reduction of food production, destruction of tropical forests, exhaustion of water resources, climate refugees, etc. All of the above mainly derive from greenhouse gas exhaustion. Such harmful consequence might directly affect mankind’s sustainable development. If we keep using resources that emits greenhouse gases, the global temperature will rise about 3.2℃ by year 2050. In case of 3℃ rise in temperature, it will result in abnormal climate which will bring about severe property damage. Moreover, 20~50% of the ecosystem will become extinct. As Korea’s economy increasingly expands, so do our energy consumption rises. And because of the consequences that can be driven by increasing rate of resource use, not just Korea itself, but also the whole world should seriously concern about greenhouse gases. Although agricultural division only takes up about 3.2% of total greenhouse gas emission, the ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs are taking voluntary actions to gradually reduce CO2 and so does each and every related organizations. In order to reduce CO2, introduction of new and renewable energy in farm house warming is crucial. In other words, implementing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler can largly reduce CO2 emission compared to diesel boiler. More importantly, not only wood-pellet and geothermal heat is pollution-free but they also have economic advantages somewhat. In this thesis, the economic advantage and sustainablity will be introduced and proved through comparing practical analysis of surveyed farm house under structure employing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler with Agriculture-Economic Statistic of 2012 who uses diesel boiler.

        This study aims to perform the economic analysis to the use of solar power facilities in rural villages considering the climate change scenario. IPCC climate change scenarios in the recently adopted the RCP scenarios (RCP8.5, RCP6.5, RCP4.5, RCP2.6) was used. By RCP scenarios, solar radiation, depending on the scenario in 2100, respectively, 3.6%, 2.5%, 1.9%, 1.1% was assumed to increase. From the economic analysis(payback period is 25 year) on 8 points of each province, in all cases of normal data and four RCP scenarios, at all points analyzed were NPV indicate a negative, BC ratio less than 1.0, respectively. In the case of Mokpo, Chunnam RCP8.5, BC ratio were found to be up to a 0.92, followed by 0.89 in the case of RCP8.5 in Jinju, Kyungnam shows, while the minimum was in Jeju. BC ratio is 1.0 or bigger, in order for the normal solar radiation data in Mokpo, Chonnam was the minimum that it takes 37 years. Similarly, in the case of RCP scenarios, 30 years in Mokpo, Chonnam RCP8.5 and 31 years in the cases of Jinju, Kyungnam and Jeonju, Cheonbuk RCP8.5 were analyzed. It was analyzed that RCP8.5 has the highest value. BC analysis models for each of the factors, the results of the sensitivity analysis, the initial installation costs, electricity sales price, discount rate in the order of economy showed higher sensitivity, and the rest factors showed lower changes. Although there are some differences of solar radiation by region, but in Korea most facilities in rural areas, the use of solar power was considered to be economical enough, considering change of several factors with high sensitivity, such as increasing of government subsidies for the solar power installation of the facility, rising oil prices due to a rise in electricity sales price, and a change in discount rate. In particular, when considering climate change scenarios, the use of solar energy for rural areas of the judgment that there was more economical.

        The waste treatment cost and energy production benefit of Wonju city RDF plant, the first RDF manufacturing plant in Korea, were investigated in this study. All plant operation data, like total weight of received wastes, produced RDF and separated rejects in processes have been fully recorded for mass balance calculation of the plant. Also all consumed oil and electricity have been recorded for energy balance calculation. The results showed that the waste treatment cost not included the RDF sales price of 25,000 won/ton-RDF was 139,316 won/ton-MSW and it went down to 128,640 won when included the RDF price in 2011. Produced RDF was 42.7% of total received waste in weight. Three components analysis by mass balance calculation of total received waste showed that Wonju city's MSW was 34.0% of combustible, 35.0% of water and 31% of incombustible respectively. Energy effect was found that total amount of produced energy was about 4 times more than that of consumed energy. Analysis data for 5 years since 2007 were summarized and shown in this study.

        본 연구의 목적은 에너지 산업 부문에서 장기예보의 사회·경제적 가치를 평가하고 측정하는 여러 가지 방법론을 고찰하고 이를 통해 국내의 장기예보 활용에 대한 사회·경제적 가치 평가 연구를 위한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 장기예보의 사회·경제적 가치 평가 연구는 방법론에 따라 크게 4가지 즉, 의사결정 분석 모형, 기술적 의사결정 분석, 프로토타입 의사결정 모형, 규범적 시장 모형으로 구분할 수 있으며, 각 유형별로 세부적인 가치 평가 모델과 알고리즘이 다르게 구성된다. 에너지 산업 부문의 사례 연구 검토 결과 개인, 산업 부문, 국가 등 분석 스케일에 따라 적용되는 방법론이 다르게 나타났으며, 사회·경제적 가치에 대한 평가 결과도 연구 대상과 범위에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 따라서 장기예보의 사회 경제적 가치 평가에서 이러한 연구 대상, 스케일에 따라 적합한 분석 방법론을 선택하는 것이 중요하다. 방법론적 고찰은 추상적이고 모호한 장기예보의 영향에 대한 예상을 넘어, 보다 정량화되고 체계적인 예보의 가치 평가를 가능하게 할 것으로 기대 된다.
