        AI-driven technology is becoming an integral part of our daily lives, spanning from smart home devices to social media platforms. However, the uneven distribution of AI technologies could result in a scenario where certain groups exert dominance over the direction of AI development. The consequences of inequality in AI evolution could further exacerbate existing economic gaps by concentrating benefits among a privileged few with access to advanced AI technologies. To address this question the, international communities should come forward and regulate the just development of AI with new and existing international laws. Although the existing international legal frameworks can be adapted to address AI-specific issues without the need for entirely new laws, however, the novel challenges presented by AI require unique and new international laws. Issues such as data sovereignty, data privacy, and data localization are areas where international laws and agreements need to evolve to accommodate the just development of AI.

        Streetwear can be thought of as a lifestyle, which in turn is a choice of how one facilitates money and time in the process and pattern of consumption of products. The user’s affinity with like-minded individuals or groupings and how they spend their disposable or available income creates groupings. These similar minded individuals fall into groups or lifestyle segments and their consumption patterns mirror their lifestyle choices. Group identities focus around expressive symbolism, following similar consumption patterns and change over time as the group preferences move onto the next desire or trend (Solomon, 2007).

        Marketers increasingly develop strategies to benefit from the potentials of the mobile internet and related technologies. Digitally enhanced product packaging is one prominent example for this evolution and QR (quick response) codes currently give this trend an appearance. QR codes enable manufacturers to provide consumers - despite the limited space on the product package - with comprehensive product information. And consumers increasingly request additional product information, for instance, to monitor environmental factors before purchasing products. Hence, while marketers nowadays regularly use QR codes on product packages to provide consumers with additional product information, they complain about the low usage rates and finally about the effectiveness of QR codes. Extant literature provides little guidance on consumer responses towards these marketing stimuli and, in particular, on how the mere presence of QR codes on product packages affects consumer behavioral and behavior-related responses. Existing research unexceptionally explores how marketers can motivate consumers to scan QR codes (Okazaki et al., 2012; Okazaki et al., 2017) and thus draws a one-sided picture of how marketers can benefit from QR codes. To enrich extant knowledge, this research uses information processing and environmental theory to offer insights into whether and how QR codes on product packages affect consumer product purchasing. The findings of an experimental study illustrate that QR codes affect consumer product purchases by inducing product- and vendor-related cognitive beliefs. In particular, the presence of QR codes on product packaging strengthens consumers’ perceptions about product quality and vendor innovativeness which then positively translate into purchase intentions. Hence, QR codes displayed on product packaging indirectly shape product purchasing. In sum, this research broadens the previous focus on usage-related outcomes by considering how and why QR codes affect consumer purchasing.

        Corporations, governments, and non-profits across the world have implemented proenvironmental campaigns to promote sustainable practices. To better understand crosscultural differences in environmental persuasion, we draw on research on self-conscious emotion (Tangney & Dearing, 2002), construal level theory (Trope & Liberman, 2010), and cultural psychology (Ratner, 2000). The current research examines how the emotions of guilt and shame cause people from Eastern and Western cultures to differently perceive green advertising messages that are framed concretely or abstractly. Two hundred fifty-five undergraduate students were randomly assigned to a 2 (emotion priming: guilt vs. shame) x 2 (construal message frame: abstract vs. concrete message) x 2 (nationality: Americans vs. Koreans) between-subjects design. The results indicate that message concreteness effect is present among guilt-primed Americans and shame-primed Koreans (culturally relevant), but absent among shame-primed Americans and guilt-primed Koreans (culturally irrelevant). Theoretical and practical implications are discussed for developing global green advertising message strategies.

        복섬, Takifugu niphobles 부화 자어를 대상으로 기아에 따른 성장, 생존 및 간세포 핵 크기에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 자어의 전장은 부화 후 3일 까지 증가하였으나 부화 후 3일에서 부 화 후 6일까지 절식구는 공급구에 비해 유의한 낮은 성장을 보였다. 공급구 복섬의 체중은 실 험 기간 중 지속적인 증가를 보였다. 절식구의 체중은 부화 후 3일 까지 증가하였으나, 부화 후 3일 이후는 서서히 감소하였다. 절식구의 생존율은 공급구의 생존율에 비해 유의하게 낮았 으며(p < 0.05) 부화 후 6일째 절식구 자어는 폐사하였다. 절식구의 간세포 핵 크기는 부화 후 3일 까지는 공급구의 간세포 핵 크기와 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 부화 후 4일에서 부화 후 6일 까지는 절식구은 공급구에 비해 간세포 핵 크기 감소를 보이며 조직상 차이를 보였다. 본 연구 결과 도출된 자료들은 복섬의 영양상태 지표로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        마늘의 저장성(貯藏性) 향상(向上)을 위한 기초자료(基礎資料)를 얻기위해 난지계(暖地系)인 남해재래(南海在來)와 한지계(寒地系)인 달성재래(達成在來)를 각각(各各) 시기별(時期別)로 수확직후(收穫直後) 구(球)의 기부(基部)로부터 줄기길이를 7cm 및 25cm로 남긴 후 열풍건조기(熱風乾燥機)에서 로 1일(日) 12시간(時間)씩 4일간(日間) 건조(乾燥)한 후 중량감소율(重量減少率)을 관행건조(慣行乾燥)와 비교(比較)하고 저장중(貯藏中) 발근(發根), 맹아(萌芽) 및 부패정도(腐敗程度)를 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 열풍건조(熱風乾燥) 4일후(日後)의 중량감소율(重量減少率)은 남해재래(南海在來)의 7cm 구(球)에서는 관행건조(慣行乾燥) 13일(日)의 효과(效果)가 있었으며 25cm 구(球)에서는 14일(日)의 효과(效果)가 있었다. 달성재래(達成在來)는 7cm 처리(處理)의 4일간(日間) 열풍건조(熱風乾燥) 효과(效果)는 조기수확(早期收穫), 적기수확(適期收穫), 만기수확별(晩期收穫別)로 관행건조일수(慣行乾燥日數)에 각각(各各) 22일(日), 18일(日), 16(日)의 효과(效果)가 있었으며 25cm처리(處理)의 4일간(日間) 열풍건조(熱風乾燥) 효과(效果)는 조기수확(早期收穫), 적기수확(適期收穫), 만기수확별(晩期收穫別)로 각각(各各) 관행건조(慣行乾燥)의 18일(日), 16일(日), 14일(日)의 효과(效果)가 있었다. 저장초기(貯藏初期)의 사경(砂耕)에 의한 발근(發根), 맹아(萌芽)는 열풍건조구(熱風乾燥區)가 관행건조구(慣行乾燥區)에 비하여 지연(遲延)되는 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 저장후기(貯藏後期)의 인편상태(鱗片狀態)는 열풍건조(熱風乾燥)가 관행건조(慣行乾燥)에 비해 식용가능(食用可能)한 인편수(鱗片數)가 많았으며 부패인편수(腐敗鱗片數)는 적었다.

        Stent thrombosis (ST) is the sudden occlusion of a stented coronary artery because of thrombus formation. ST is a rare, but can result in life-threatening complications. Early stent thrombosis occurs frequently after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Here, we report a case of a 59-year-old man with acute stent thrombosis immediately after primary PCI with drug-eluting stent for acute STEMI.

        This research investigated the impact of the International Student Teacher Exchange Program (I-STEP) on the enhancement of preservice teachers’ cultural sensitivity. The results of this research are consistent to the findings from previous studies confirming the positive effect of international field experiences. Specifically, the analysis of the quantitative survey showed that the 2008 I-STEP programs were effective in improving participant impressions on the hosts’ ethno-groups. The journal analysis confirmed this result by showing that the preservice teachers reconsidered their beliefs about other ethnic groups through the program participation. Although the participants had possessed a set of biases about the ethnic groups, the participants interacted with host ethnic groups and reconsidered their beliefs about the groups. Through person-to-person interaction, the participants found that human beings share some commonalities in ways of feeling and living. At the same time, they realized that people can be different and that the differences are cultural constructions. As the I-STEP allowed the participants to access to others’ lived worlds, they witnessed other possibilities of being in the world and reflected upon their own ways of living. Thus, this experience of cultural emersion expanded the participants’ worldviews and developed the attitude of active respect. Based on these findings, this paper presents several implications for the future development of international field experience programs for preservice teachers and further of multicultural teacher education curricula in general.
