휴대폰을 비롯한 모바일 기기의 비약적인 성능 발전과 더불어 Wibro나 HSDPA 같은 고속 이동통신 기술의 발전으 로 인해 고품질 모바일 게임에 대한 수요가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 게임을 분류하고 국내 모바 일 게임 시장의 현황을 살펴본다. 모바일 게임 시장에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 국내 모바일 게임 산업의 발전 방향을 제시한다.

The needs for high-quality mobile games become widespread according to the quantum growth in capability of mobile devices and the development of high-speed mobile communication technologies such as Wibro and HSDPA. In this paper, mobile games are categorized and a survey for domestic mobile game industry is presented. Based on the analysis of the survey, future directions for domestic mobile game industry are given.
