본 연구는 영산강 수계의 상류부인 전남 화순군 한천면 금전리에 위치한 금전저수지 둑 높이기 사업의 일환으로 금전저수지 경관조성 및 저수지 활용, 관리시설 도입에 관한 설계제안이라 할 수 있다. 자연과 인간, 몸과 마음의조율을 통한 균형회복을 모토로 총 8개 공간테마로 대상지를 정하고 저수지 주변 환경을 고려하여 치유, 휴게, 운동,레저, 숙박시설 등의 도입을 계획하였다.제방사면에 허브식물팔레트를 조성하고 운동공간 및 휴게공간, 인공폭포 등을 도입하여 기존의 삭막한 제방공간을아름다운 경관으로 변모시켜 시민들의 접근을 유도하였다. 허브재배 및 체험공간을 도입하여 향기를 입힌 공간으로조성하였으며 허브를 활용한 다양한 프로그램 도입 및 체험 건물을 설치하였다. 저수지 상부의 기존 논을 활용하여한천마을 주민을 위한 운동공간으로 활용하였으며 저수지 상부에 습지를 조성하고 관찰데크를 설치하여 다양한 수생식물을접할 기회를 제공하였다. 기존 논자리를 복토하여 가용지를 조성하고 수변공간의 중심부는 관리센터로 이용하도록계획하였다. 저수지 준설토로 인공섬을 조성하고 펜션을 설치하여 방문객들에게 숙박을 제공함과 동시에 지역주민들의소득 창출원으로 활용하고자 하였다. 순환로 상에 칼로리라인을 조성하고 다양한 순환운동 프로그램을 도입하여 주민체력증진에 기여하도록 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a design for the landscaping and activation of the Kum-Jeon Reservoir -which is in Jeon-Nam, Hwa-Soon goon, Han-Chun myun, Kum-Jeon in the upper stream of the Young-San Riveras part of the Kum-Jeon Reservoir bank raising project. Its motto is to regain the balance by mediating between nature-human and body-mind. With this motto, we picked 8 theme places and have planned to introduce facilities of healing, resting, exercising, leisure activities and accommodation after considering their circumstances. We formed a herbal palette on the oblique section of the bank and introduced a place for exercise and rest as well as an artificial waterfall in order to attract people by turning it into a place with a beautiful landscape. Also we attempted to create a fragrant space by promoting herb cultivation activities and built number of buildings to provide herb-related experiences through several programs. Some of the old rice paddies in the upper region of the reservoir were transformed into places where citizens of Han-Cheon town can work out freely. Moreover an observation deck was built in order to form a wetland in the upper stream area so people can have more of a chance to see various aquatic plants. Molding the old rice paddy created some free space and we planned to use the center of the space on the water edge as a control center. We created an artificial island with the soil from the reservoir and built accomodations on it so this project can promote economic benefits for the citizens as well. A calorie line was formed on the ring road and several physical exercise programs were introduced in order to enhance its citizens physical strength at the same time.
