고등교육정보화는 국가 교육의 혁신에 영향을 미침으로써 국가경쟁력 강화의 핵심요소로 여겨지고 있다. 개발도상국 역시 고등교육의 정보화를 꾀하고 있다. 그 중 태국도한국과의 국제협력을 통해 고등교육정보화의 발전을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있어 태국고등교육정보화에 요구와 현황을 파악하여 컨설팅이 이루어질 필요가 있다.본 연구는 태국 고등교육정보화의 문제점과 그에 대한 해결책을 분석하여 태국 고등교육정보화의 현황과 요구를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 APEC e-러닝 연수의 태국 연수생들이 작성한 PBL형식의 개인 보고서 및 공동연구 보고서를 내용분석을 통해 분석하였다.내용분석은 교육환경의 정보화, 교육정보화 컨텐츠, 교수-학습의 정보화, 행정적 지원을 범주로 하였다. 문제점과 해결책의 13⨯13 형태의 분석틀을 통해 부호화를 실시하였다. 부호화한 자료를 다중응답교차분석을 통해 통계처리한 후 얻은 자료를 통해 결론을 도출하였다.

Informatization of higher education is crucial in terms of national education innovation, and is considered as one of many essentials required for improving an economy's competitiveness. This is not non-inclusive to developing countries as well. Among many economies working towards higher education informatization is Thailand, currently collaborating with Korea for the improvement of higher education. Therefore it is necessary to examine Thailand's needs and status of informatization in higher education and provide appropriate consulting. This research is directed in an attempt to analyze the needs and status of Thailand's informatization in higher education, through the means of providing solution to problems in the field of education informatization in Thailand. Analysis is based on collaborative research reports and personal PBL reports documented by Thai APEC e-Learning trainees. Content analysis is inclusive of environment informatization, educational contents, informatization of teaching methods, and administrative support. The final conclusion was deducted by encoding results with a 13×13 analysis format and encoded results were disposed by cross-tabulating multiple choice questions.
