‘Fiore’는 경남농업기술원 화훼연구소에서 2009년도에 육성한 절화용 스프레이 국화 신품종이다. 2003년에 분홍색 홑꽃인 ‘Rosa’와 백색 홑꽃인 ‘Angaesoguk’을 인공교배 하여 2005년 부터 2009년까지 파종과 계통선발을 통해 육성하였다. 화색은 오렌지색이며, 품종의 특성검정은 2007년부터 2009년까지 촉성 재배와 억제재배, 자연재배 조건에서 3회에 걸쳐 조사하였다. ‘Fiore’의 자연개화기는 10월 24일경이며, 일장조절에 의해 주년 재배가 가능하다. 꽃 크기는 2.8cm이며, 가을재배에 있어서 착화수는 33.8개이다. 봄 촉성재배시 개화소요일수가 48일이며, 가 을 자연재배시의 절화수명은 23.2일로 긴 편이다. 이 품종은 2011년 국립 종자원에 품종 등록되었다.
A new spray chrysanthemum ‘Fiore’ was released by the Flower Research Institute, Gyeongsangnam- do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, Korea in 2009. The cultivar ‘Fiore’ was initially derived from the cross in 2003 between ‘Rosa’, a spray chrysanthemum cultivar with pink single type, and ‘Angaesoguk’, a spray chrysanthemum cultivar with white single type. The cultivar has single type flowers with orange petals. Its characteristics were investigated by three times from 2007 to 2009 under condition of forcing culture in spring and retarding culture in autumn. The natural flowering time of ‘Fiore’ was October 24th, and year-round production was possible by day length treatment. Its flower was 2.8cm in diameter, and it had 33.8 flowers per stem in autumn. The days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 48 days in spring season, and ‘Fiore’ showed the vase life of 23.2 days in autumn. This cultivar was registered to the Korea Seed and Variety Service (KSVS) for the plant variety protection rights in 2011.
