본 연구는 코칭이 학문으로서의 가치를 갖고 있음을 증명하기 위하여 기초적이고 논리적으로 접근하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 코칭의 학문 가능성을 이론적으로 증명하려는 목적을 갖고 있다. 우선 코칭을 학문으로 연구한 사례를 논문과 학술대회 발표 주제 등으로 고찰하였다. 이후 학문이 무엇인지에 대한 사전적 정의를 내리고 코칭학의 관련성, 학문의 분류와 코칭학의 관련성, 학문의 특성과 코칭학의 관련성을 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 학문의 요소들을 고찰하고 학문가능성으로서의 코칭학을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 학문의 정의, 분류, 특성, 요소들과 코칭과의 관련성을 고찰한 결과로서 코칭의 학문 가능성의 가능성을 제시하였다.

The study is basically and logically to approach to prove the coaching takes the academic values. Thenpurpose is to prove the academic possibilities of coaching. First of all, The study is considered academicnexamples which are the theses and the papers subjects in academic conference. After considering, definednthe word which was academic and considered relations with coaching, the relations between academicndivisions and coaching, between academic characters and coaching, Finally considered the academic elementsnand showed academic coaching included academic possibility. Therefore the study showed the academicnpossibilities of coaching as the result that are definition, divisions, characters, elements and relations withncoaching.
