Jeju coastal landscape has been changed from 1980's. Construction of coastal road, rearing fm, restaurant and condominium are main reasons of destroying the Jeju coastal area. Recently, the law for preserving coastal landscape is effective to prevent diverse construction activities, the land is comparatively restricted in the coastal landscape preservation districts. The resident's attitude toward restricted landlord has been carried out in Jeju province and compensation program has been developed for landlord in the coastal landscape preservation district.
