한자에는 일정한 규칙성이 있기 때문에, 설령 모국어가 동일하지 않은 어떤 국 가나 지역에서도 모두 기초한자란 개념을 다시 한번 생각해 볼 가치를 지니고 있 다. 한자는 형․음․의와 사용의 측면 등에 있어서 비교적 많은 층위구조를 가지 고 있으며, 그것들이 시스템적으로 완성되어 문자 체계를 이루고 있다. 이러한 문 자 체계를 살펴보면 글자와 글자 사이는 “형태적 연관”되거나, “음운상의 연관”, “의미적 연관”등이 존재하며, 이것이 바로 한자의 그런 계층이 가지는 특질을 깊 이 연구해야 하는 이유이다. 본고는 이러한 일반적인 규칙성을 발견하고 탐구하는 연구와 더불어, 이를 통해 한자 학습의 이론과 방법을 제시하고자 하는데, 이것이 바로 한자를 학습함에 있 어서 “기초한자”에서 우선되어야 한다는 것이다. 이러한 주장을 펴기 위해 본고는 우선 기초한자란 무엇이며, 어떻게 기초한자를 선정해야 하며, 어떻게 학습할 것 인지에 대해 명확히 논의해 보고자 한다.

汉字是有序的. 因此，这里提出的“基础汉字”的概念，对于所有学习和使用汉字的任何国家和地区、无论其母语为何，都有借鉴意义. 汉字在“形․音․义․用”等四个方面呈现了较高层面的、全面序化的成熟文字系统特征. 在这样的系统中，汉字彼此之间或有“形联”、或有“音联”、或有语义“联想”性的序化规律性. 深入系统地研究汉字序化体系的特质、确认学习汉字的顺序是汉字研究与汉字教育研究面临的基础性建设. 本文仅就这一规律性作出初步探讨，提出改进汉字学习的思路和方法——指出学习汉字需要起步于先学“基础汉字”，为此，明确:什么是基础汉字？如何确认基础汉字？怎样学习基础汉字？

Chinese characters are in order. Therefore, the concept of "Basic Chinese Characters" mentioned in this paper can be borrowed for reference in any countries and regions wherever people study and use Chinese characters. Chinese characters present a high level and fully ordered mature character system in the four aspects of "shape, pronunciation, meaning and use". It is a fundamental construction for Chinese characters researchers and educators to study the traits of the Chinese character sequence system deeply and systematically, and confirm the order of learning Chinese characters. This paper only makes a preliminary discussion on this regularity and puts forward the ideas and methods on improving the way of learning Chinese characters. It points out that learning Chinese characters need to learn "Basic Chinese Characters" first. On this base, this paper discusses what are the basic Chinese characters, how to define and learn them.
