Readers’ Response centered Chinese Poem Teaching-Learning Model
In this article, a Teaching-Learning model was devised focusing on the understanding and appreciation of learners on Chinese poem text from the perspective of literature and education. The theoretical background of the devised model was 'Response centered class'. However, in the procedure to develop a concrete model, various teaching-learning strategies and methods were applied by phase. An independent teaching-learning method for Chinese Character subject was devised by applying the study results regarding Teaching-Learning method such as 'Reading aloud Method’, ‘Hyeon-To(懸吐) Method’, ‘Comparative Learning Method’, and ‘Media Utilizing Appreciation Method’. The expected effects through this model are as follows; First, students will participate in the class as subjects. Second, students can express their responses clearly through discussion, presentation and reading and correct the errors in the response. Third, they can nurture critical thinking abilities by accommodating others' opinions critically through discussion and presentation. Fourth, they will have interest in other works through various activities based on other texts related with Chinese poems. The educational efficiency and realization should be studied in future studies by applying the Chinese Appreciation Model.
