본 연구는 광주광역시에 거주하는 국제결혼 이민여성을 대상으로 원예활동이 대인관계에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 실시하였다. 4월 27일부터 8월 3일까지 매주 1회씩 실시하였고, 8명을 대상으로 대인관계 측정지와 원예활동 평가표를 이용하여 프로그램 실시 전과 후에 원예활동의 효과를 측정하였고, 매회 관찰평가를 하였다. 대인관계 변화는 대상자 8명 모두 프로그램 실시 후 향상되었으며, 프로그램 실시 전보다 최소 13점에서 최대 34점까지 모두 높아졌다. 따라서 원예활동이 국제결혼 이민여성의 대인관계를 향상시킴을 알 수 있었고, 통계적으로도 매우 유의하였다. 원예활동 평가에 있어서 참여성, 관심 및 조력성, 언어소통능력, 자아개념 및 주체성, 욕구 충동적응력, 대인관계능력, 인지 및 문제해결력, 운동지각능력, 숙련도와 직업적응력 등 9개 항목에서 프로그램 실시 후가 실시 전보다 크게 향상되었다.

This study carried out to investigate the effect of horticultural activity on the changes of the interpersonal relationship in women immigrants married with Korean man who live in Gwangju city, Korea. The 8 subjects were participated in this program, and the horticultural activity programs were conducted one time per week from 27 April to 3 August. To examine the effect of horticultural activity program, interpersonal relationship scale and evaluation chart of horticultural activity were used before and after program. Interpersonal relationship of 8 subjects was better, and its value were increased by 13 to 34 marks after horticultural activity program than before horticultural activity program. Also, in horticultural activity evaluation, values of participation, interest and assistance, verbal interaction during activity, self-concept and identity, need-drive adaptation, interpersonal and social relations, cognition and problem solving, exercise perceptivity, and life-tasks skills and vocational adjustment were significantly high after horticultural activity program.
