The purpose of the study was to analyze the current status and to suggest the improvement plan of educational programs for social environmental educators in Korea. For this purpose, we reviewed literatures, analyzed domestic and foreign social environmental education programs, sought advice from experts, and interviewed the persons concerned. These major findings of this study were as follows:First, problems of educational programs for social environmental educators were discovered in six categories, ① education contents, ② social environmental educators, ③ education materials, ④ education place, ⑤ finance, and ⑥ delivery system.Second, implications for the development of social environmental education system in korea was extracted from reviewing programs in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan and Germany. Third, the improvement plan of educational programs for social environmental education in Korea were suggested.
