구조물은 공용연수의 경과에 따른 노후화로 시설물의 성능이 서서히 손실되기 마련으로, 기존의 구조해석에서는 이러한 시간의 경과에 따른 성능저하를 정확히 산정할 수 없다는 한계가 있기 때문에 과거에 단순 폐기되던 철거교량에 대하여 시편채취, 파괴시험 등을 실시함으로써, 공용중인 교량에 대한 성능평가 및 거동분석 기법 등 안전성 평가기법을 연구 개발하는데 그 목적을 두었다.

As the service period of structures are increase, the performance are gradually decrease. Because several established structure analyses have limitation, it is difficult to estimate the degradation accurately as time pass. It is the purpose of studying, based on the safety assesment technique like performance assesment and behavior analysis, to the extract of sampling and to the performance of the destruction test about simply the discarded bridge ruined during the past.
