미래를 준비하기 위한 지금의 우리는 무엇보다도 사회적 요구에 따른 창의적 능력을 갖춘 인재양성을 위한 교육이 절실하게 되었다. 수많은 미디어 정보와 네트워크 환경 속에서 필요한 정보를 활용하여 재 창조할 수 있는 능력, 즉 창의력이 필요하다. 이러한 창의력은 개인의 능력이며 나아가 글로벌 시대에 맞는 국가의 경쟁력이 될 것이기 때문이다. 많은 전문분야 학자와 학부모들은 창의성 개발을 위한 교육 의 중요성을 인지하고 있으며, 아이들의 적성과 개인의 특성을 개발하기 위해 실증적 교육을 선호하고 있다. 이런 상황에서 제대로 된 교육을 위한 교육의 장을 만드는 것과 교육현장에서 아동들의 직접적인 교육을 책임지는 교사들 역시 과학적·합리적 교육 방안을 모색해야만 한다. 창의성 발현의 근본이 되는 ‘뇌’의 활동을 탐구하므로 창의성 발달을 위한 교육적 방향을 검토하여 미술교육에 있어 과학 적 근거를 제공할 수 있었다. 창의성 교육의 한 측면으로써 전뇌 활용을 돕는 미술수업 사례를 통해 창의적 미술교육이 효과적임을 제시하였다.

In order to prepare for the future, we need the education to raise up competent individuals who have creativity, which is demanded by the society. Those individuals need creativity which is an ability to use and recreate the information from a lot of media and networks. It is because the creativity is both an individual ability and national competitiveness in the global age. Experts in many fields and parents are recognizing the importance of education and wanting the empirical education to develop children's aptitude and personality. In this situation, scientific and rational education programs should also be sought by teachers who are in charge of children's education. We can suggest an educational direction by exploring the activity of the brain that is the source of creativity which may provide the scientific basis. I'd like to suggest the creative art education method through case analysis to help take advantage of the forebrain as one aspect of creativity education.
