본 연구의 목적은 3-5세 누리과정 교사용지도서에 나타난 유아 안전교육 관련 내용을 분석 하는 것이다. 분석 대상은 교육과학기술부에서 2012년 이후에 발행한 누리과정 교사용 지도서 이다. 유아 안전교육 관련 내용을 분석하기 위한 분석 준거는 선행연구들을 기초로 재구성하 였고 분석 준거는 교통안전, 실종유괴안전, 소방안전, 재난안전, 약물안전, 성폭력안전, 동·식물 안전, 환경안전, 다중시설이용안전, 생활안전, 미디어안전이다. 이들 분석 준거에 의하여 누리 과정 교사용지도서의 생활영역, 생활주제, 활동유형에 나타난 유아 안전교육 내용의 빈도와 백분율을 산출하여 분석하고 해석하였다.
분석결과 첫째. 신체운동·건강영역의 안전교육은 연령별로 비슷하게 실시되었고 3세, 4세, 5세 순으로 상당히 높게 실시되었다. 둘째, 생활주제별 안전교육에서는 ‘생활도구’주제에서 3 세와 4세가 ‘건강과 안전’주제에서 5세가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 활동유형별 안전교 육에서는 ‘대·소집단활동 중 이야기나누기 활동’에서 5세가 가장 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 안전유형별 안전교육에서는 ‘놀이안전범주 중 놀이기구’에서 3세가 가장 많은 것으로 나 타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 기초하여 향후 안전교육의 교육 방향을 계획하는데 기초 자료로 활 용되고자 한다.

This research aims to analyze contents of a teacher's guidebook on the Nuri Curriculum for children aged 3 to 5, regarding child safety education. The objects of this analysis are 10 teacher's guidebooks to the Nuri Curriculum for children aged 3, 11 of those for age 4, and 11 of those for age 5, hence 32 guidebooks in total. Criteria for this analysis was constituted with preceding studies as a basis, and the criteria was traffic safety, safety from disappearance and abduction, safety of fire fighting, safety from disasters, drug safety, safety from sexual abuse, animal and plant safety, environmental safety, safety from using multiple facilities, everyday life safety, and media safety. The frequency and the percentage of content regarding children's safety education that appear in the activity field, activity theme and activity type of the teacher's guidebooks to the Nuri Curriculum, were computed, analyzed and interpreted according to this criteria.
The analysis showed that first, safety education in the area of physical exercises and health appeared 141 times in total in the teacher's guidebooks; 48 times for age 3, 45 times for age 4 and 48 times for age 5. Also, comprehensive safety education in other areas of the Nuri Curriculum appeared 576 times in total in the teacher's guidebooks; 208 times for age 3, 189 times for age 4 and 179 times for age 5. Second, for the safety education by activity theme, safety education appeared the most for age 3 and age4 in the 'activity tools' theme, and it appeared the most for age 5 in the 'health and safety' theme. Third, for the safety education by activity type, safety education appeared the most for age 5 in the 'story sharing activity during big/small group activities'. Fourth, for the safety education by safety type, safety education appeared the most for age 3 in 'play rides within the safety category of play'. Based on the results of this study, we intend to use this study as the preliminary data to plan a direction for future safety education.
