오늘날 정사 및 계수기 디자인은 슈퍼 노트(Super-Note)와 같은 정교한 위폐가 등장함으로써 불법화폐를 감별하고 작업자 의 의도에 따른 다양한 정사 기능이 요구되고 있다. 또한 반복적이며 오랜 사용으로 인한 사용자의 건강 문제가 중요한 사 안으로 등장하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 작업과정에서 발생할 수 있는 근골격질환(Musculoskeletal Disorders)을 방지 하는 인간공학적 측면에서의 사용방법과 빈번하게 발생하는 오류에 해당되는 잼(Jam:걸림)을 용이하게 해결할 수 있는 구 조의 정사기를 제안하고자 한다. 디자인 연구과정에서는 시장조사에 근거하여 미학과 품격성(Status)을 강조하는 Status-Step을 디자인 전략(Design Strategy) 으로 채택하였으며, 이에 따른 디자인 방향(Design Direction)을 설정하였다. 특히 본 디자인 연구에서는 구조적인 측면 즉, 빈번하게 발생하는 Jam을 해결하기 위한 처방으로서 정사기의 몸체를 아래서 위로 들어 올리는 방식을 적용하였다. Jam 해결 과정에서 작업 중인 지폐를 제거해야하는 번거로움을 해결하기 위해 지폐를 놓아두는 유동적인 호퍼가이드(Hopper Guide)를 적용함으로써 작업의 효율성을 극대화 하고자 하였다. 디자인 프로세스는 설정된 디자인 전략에 따른 구조를 확정하 고 경쟁사 분석의 경우 주) See-tech 연구진과 함께 공동으로 진행하였으며, 이에 근거하여 다양한 아이디어 스케치가 진행되었 다. 디자인 외형에 대한 논의는 1차 렌더링 작업을 통해 디자인 의도와 일치하는지에 대한 내용을 확인하였다. 또한 주) See-Tech 관계자들과의 협의를 통해 디자인 수정과정이 진행되었으며, 최종안을 선정하여 디자인 결과를 도출하였다.

These days, sorting & counter design is required to be equipped with diverse sorting functions consequent on the necessity of detecting illegal money and a worker’s intention due to the appearance of elaborate counterfeit notes like Super-Note. In addition, a user’s health problem due to the repetitious, long use of them is emerging as an important issue. Hereupon, this study is intending to propose the method of use from ergonomic aspects which can prevent musculoskeletal disorders that could happen in the process of work, and a sorter that makes it possible to easily solve the frequently occurring ‘jam’ belonging to an error. In the process of doing research on design, this study adopted ‘Status-Step’ putting emphasis on aesthetics and dignity based on market research, and set its accompanying Design Direction. Particularly, in this design research, this study applied the way of lifting the body of a sorter from bottom to top as a prescription for solving the structural aspect, that is, frequently occurring ‘Jam.’ In the process of solution to the ‘Jam’, this study maximized work efficiency by applying mobile Hopper Guide, which leaves notes be, in order to solve the burden of having to remove the notes under operation, As for design process, this study confirmed the structure consequent on the set design strategy, and conducted the analysis of rival companies in collaboration with the research group at See-Tech Co.,Ltd., based on which diverse idea sketches were in progress. As for the discussion about the outward appearance of design, this study confirmed whether the contents of the outward appearance of design were in conformity with design intention through the primary rendering work. Further, this study conducted the design modification process through the consultation with the personnel at See-Tech Co.,Ltd., and deducted design results by selecting the final proposal
