본 논문에서는 사진에서 나타난 유아의 은유적 표현에 대해 알아보았다. 유아가 유치원과 가정에서 찍은 사진을 활용하여 이야기 나누기를 하는 동안 새로운 사고가 표출되었으며 다양한 은유적 표현이 나타났다. 본 연구에서 나타난 유아의 은유는, 자신의 경험에 기반을 둔 은유적 표현, 유아의 적극적인 사진 읽기와 은유적 표현, 함께 나누며 더해지는 은유적 표현으로 유목화하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore young children’s metaphorical expressions during photography activities. Twenty six young children were participated in the study. The pictures taken by children in both kindergarten and house were freely chosen to be discussed. During conversation period various metaphorical expressions were expressed. The results of this study are as follows; First, Children showed metaphorical expressions based on their experiences. Second, young children actively interpreted the pictures in various metaphorical ways. Third, children’s metaphorical expressions were expanded during conversation period.
