Membrane potential is based on the difference in electric potential between membrane that is induced by the concentration differences. This study focused on membrane synthesis for ultra-thin ion exchange membrane. Using those membranes, prototype concentration cell were produced. Interestingly, those concentration cells responds to all external changes, for example, vibration, bending, temperatures. We expect that the concentration cells could extract the useful energy from any type of low-degree energies.
