본 연구는 다문화수용이 아동의 학교적응에 미치는 영향과 삶의 만족도의 매개효과를 확인하여 시사점과 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 자료는 한국아동청소년패널 데이터를 활용하였으며 이 중 초1 패널 6차년도 자료를 사용하였다. 분석은 기술통계 및 상관분석, 적합도 검증, 경로분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 아동의 다문화수용은 삶의 만족도와 학교적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 삶의 만족도는 다문화수용이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 결과를 바탕으로 교육과 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study were to examine the influence of the multicultural acceptance of children on their school adjustment and the mediation effects of their life satisfaction on the relationship between the two variables. Using data from elementary 1th grade panel of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Study (KCYPS), Wave 6, we conducted descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis.
The findings of the stud.y were as follows：
First, the community spirits of the adolescents exerted a direct influence on their life satisfaction and school adjustment.
Second, the life satisfaction of the adolescents produce a mediation effect when their community spirits affected school adjustment.
Based on these findings, the educational and policy implications was suggested.
