This paper presents development of a high-performance concrete median barrier by means of device allowing deformation. A series of numerical analyses and full-scale crash tests were was conducted to develop optimized section of SB6 concrete median barrier The suggested section of SB6 concrete median barrier satisfies all requirements specified by MOLIT(Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport)
