초록

This paper presents experimental results for applicability of Fe-based shape memory alloy(Fe-SMA) as near surface mounted(NSM) reinforcement . Three reinforced concrete beams with a width of 300 mm and a height of 200 mm were fabricated for the study. Reinforcement(Non-Reinforced, Reinforced), Activation(Non-Activation, Activation) were considered as experimental variable. Specimens, which reinforced with Fe-SMA have 50% less deflection then non reinforced specimen on 10kN load. Specimens, which activated Fe-SMA has 38% less additional deflection then non activated specimen in 2 weeks.
