본 연구는 고추수확기의 이물질 선별부의 선별성능을 분석하기 위해 수행하였다. 고추 품종 3가지에 대하여 건조하지 않은 시료와 건조한 시료의 고추 과실 및 이물질의 부유 속도를 측정하였다. 각 시료의 부유 속도를 측정한 결과, 건조하지 않은 고추 과실, 고추 줄기, 고춧잎은 각각 11.5-14.3 m/s, 10.9-12.5 m/s, 3.45-5.42 m/s 로 나타났다. 건조한 고추 과실, 고추 줄기, 고춧잎의 부유속도는 각각 10.89-12.1 m/s, 8.35-9.54 m/s, 2.74-5.14 m/s로 나타났다. 이물질 선별부 요인 실험 장치를 제작하고, 풍향 가이드 3개, 5개를 추가한 풍구를 제작하여 풍향 가이드 추가에 따른 풍속을 측정하였으 며 그 결과, 풍향 가이드 추가한 풍구의 좌우 풍속의 편차가 풍향 가이드를 추가하지 않은 풍구의 풍속 편차보다 낮았다. 풍구 가이드의 갯수와 수집 가이드의 위치에 따라 이물질 선별률, 이물질 정체율을 조사하고, 그 결과를 반복이 있는 이원배치법을 사용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 수집 가이드 위치를 전방 중앙 기준으로 풍향 가이드를 추가하지 않은 풍구 이물질 선별률과 이물질 정체율은 각각 47.0%, 7.2%로 나타났다. 풍향 가이드를 3개 추가한 경우 이물질 선별율과 정체율은 각각 34.2%, 2.6% 였으며, 풍향 가이드 5개를 추가한 경우 각각 31.1%, 0.8%로 나타났다. 이물질 선별 및 정체를 고려하였을 때 풍향 가이드 3개를 추가하고 수집 가이드 위치를 전방 중앙 조건에서 최적인 조건으로 판단된다.
This study was conducted to improve the performance of a foreign materials separating system. The floating velocity of pepper fruits and the foreign material in the raw and dried samples were measured for three pepper varieties. The results showed that the floating velocity of the raw pepper fruit was 11.5-14.3 m/s, the raw pepper stems was 10.9-12.5 m/s, the raw pepper leaves was 3.45-5.42 m/s, the dry pepper fruit was 10.89-12.1 m/s, the dry pepper stems was 8.35-9.54 m/s, and the dry pepper leaves was 2.74-5.14 m/s. Wind speed at each position of the winnowing machine was measured with the addition of wind guides. After the wind guides were added, the deviation of the left and right wind speeds was reduced. The efficiency of foreign materials separation and the ratio of stagnant foreign materials were analyzed by the addition of wind guides and the position of a collection guide. The results of the factor experiments were analyzed by two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of factor experiments showed that. As for the addition of wind guides, the separation efficiency of foreign materials was an average of 25.40–47.00% of the existing winnowing machine, which was higher than the wind winnowing machine with added wind guides. As for the collection guide position in the front-middle condition, the separation efficiency of the foreign materials and the ratio of stagnant foreign materials for existing winnowing machine were 47.0% and 7.2%, respectively. As for same condition, the separation efficiency of the foreign materials and the ratio of stagnant foreign materials were 34.2% and 2.6%, respectively for winnowing machine with three wind guides. For winnowing machine with five wind guides, the separation efficiency of the foreign materials and the ratio of stagnant foreign materials were 34.2% and 2.6%, respectively. Considering the separation efficiency of the foreign materials and the ratio of stagnant foreign materials, the best condition of the winnowing machine is with three wind guides for the collection guide position in the front-middle condition.
