중국과 한국은 아시아 지역에서 최초로 농경 문명이 생겨난 나라로 농업생산은 정확한 농사철을 요구한다. 계절의 전환에 따라, 어느 특정한 날에, 천상, 물상과 기상은 모두 같거나 비슷한 점이 많다. 단오절은 고대 농경사회에서 변천해 온 중요한 전통 명절이다. 음력 5월은 농민들이 파종을 위해 집중적인 노동력을 투입한 후 성숙을 기다리는 시간이며, 농민들이 잠시 손을 떼고 한숨 돌릴 수 있는 간헐기다. 지난 몇 달간의 고된 노동으로 몸과 정신에서 피로와 졸음을 느끼며 피로를 푸는 체력이 필요했다. 또 날씨가 점점 따뜻해져 여름으로 접어들면서 세균, 바이러스가 생기고 모기가 늘어나는 계절이다. 그래서 풍년을 기원하고 제사를 지내는 한편 사악을 물리치고 병을 예방하기 위해 필요한 '방역 위생' 활동을 해야 한다. 그 기원과 내용, 그리고 문화적 의미, 개최 목적, 보호와 전승 방식 등을 살펴보면 중국과 한국은 공통점이 있지만 분명한 차이가 있다. 본 연구에서 한•중 단오절 체육적 풍습을 비교 연구하여 양국의 단오절 체육적 풍속의 차이점이라는 측면을 탐구하고자 한다.

China and South Korea, as the first countries in Asia to enter the agricultural civilization, agricultural production requires accurate farming season. With the change of seasons, there are many same or similar places in the sky, objects and weather at a certain time. Dragon Boat Festival is an important traditional festival evolved from the ancient farming society. In May of the lunar calendar, when formal farmers concentrate on labor for sowing and wait for maturity, it is also a period when farmers can temporarily let go. Due to the hard work of the previous months, they feel very tired and sleepy physically and mentally, and need to relieve their tired physical strength. At the same time, the weather is getting warmer and warmer. It's also a season of bacteria, viruses and mosquitoes. Therefore, on the one hand, people need to pray for a good harvest and sacrifice, on the other hand, they need to drive away pathogens and prevent diseases and carry out necessary "epidemic prevention and health" activities. From the aspects of its origin, content, cultural connotation, holding purpose, protection and inheritance, China and South Korea have common points but also obvious differences. This paper intends to make a comparative study on the sports customs of Dragon Boat Festival between China and South Korea, and discuss the differences between the sports customs of Dragon Boat Festival between the two countries.
