이 글의 연구 목적은 필자가 마산 부마민주항쟁의 진상규명을 위해서 이며, 마산지역 부마민주항쟁의 사실왜곡과 참여자 5인 행동태도에 초점을 둔다. 「10주년 자료집」과 「증언집: 마산편」에 있는 이들의 증언 내용과 행적을 통해 마산항쟁의 사실을 왜곡시킨 주범들의 사례를 입증하고 이들 범법자들이 척결의 대상임을 부각시키고자 한다. 이 연구는 「10주년 자료집」과 「증언집: 마산편」을 중심으로 한 문헌 연구에 중점을 둔다. 이글을 작성하게 된 요체는 10.18마산항쟁에 주도적으로 참여하지 않은 농단세력이 부마민주항쟁기념사업회를 조직 후 장악해 오던 중 「10주년 자료집」을 거짓과 모순으로 꾸며 민중 중심의 항쟁을 그들의 주도로 일어났다고 기록물을 훼손한 것을 폭로하기 위함에 있다. 특히 「10주년 자료집」 발간 이후 이들이 민중항쟁의 중요성을 짓밟고, 그들 위주의 막강한 영향력을 발휘하는 것이 용납되어서는 안 된다는 생각이 들어 서이다. 이 글은 부마 항쟁의 진실을 조작·왜곡시킨 항쟁농단세력이 척결되지 않고 이들이 부마 항쟁 관련단체의 핵심 임원으로 버티고 있는 한, 항쟁의 정의나 진상규명은 더욱 어렵겠다는 우려의 표현이다. 결국 농단세력이 훼손한 부마항쟁의 정의가 바로 서고 오랫동안 짓밟힌 명예가 회복될 수 있는 것은 이들을 척결해 국민의 항쟁으로 되돌리는 것으로서만 가능하다고 본다.

The purpose of this article is to find out the truth of the Masan Buma Democratic Uprising, and to focus on the distortion of the facts of the Buma Democratic Uprising in Masan and the behavioral attitude of the five participants. It is intended to prove the cases of the main offenders who distorted the facts of the Masan Uprising through the testimony and deeds of those in the "10th Anniversary Data Collection" and the “Testimony Collection: Masan Edition”, and to highlight that these offenders are the targets of eradication. This study focuses on literature research centered on the “10th Anniversary Data Collection” and “Testimony Collection: Masan Edition”. The main reason for writing this article is to reveal that manipulators who did not take the lead in the 10.18 Masan Uprising damaged the record that the "10th Anniversary Data Collection" took control of the Buma Democratic Uprising after organizing it in false and contradictory. In particular, after the publication of the “10th Anniversary Data Collection”, it was thought that they should not be allowed to trample on the importance of the people's uprising and exert their own powerful influence. This article expresses concern that the definition or truth of the uprising will be more difficult as long as the protest manipulators who manipulated and distorted the truth of the Buma uprising are not eradicated and they hold out as key executives of the Buma uprising-related organizations. In the end, the definition of the Buma uprising damaged by the manipulators stands right and the reputation trampled on for a long time can be restored only by eradicating them and returning them to the people's uprising.
