A Study on the Research of the Impact of Human Animal Bond in Trauma Recovery
This study examined the previous studies and reviews on the impact of human animal bond (HAB), a coevolutionary relationship between human and animal, in trauma recovery. The most important factor in recovering from trauma is making a good relationship; human animal bond can act as a positive aspect in making such relationship. Animals give a sense of support and safety which leads to making a trustful relationship. It has also been proven HAB can lessen one's loneliness and anxiety. For these reasons, Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is widely used in trauma recoveries.
