이 연구는 얼굴 유형에 따른 헤어커트스타일 선호도를 조사하기 위하여 대전·충남지역 여성 276명을 대상으로 설문지를 사용하여 설문조사 하였다. 분석은 통계 처리프로그램인 SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) 24.0을 이용하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 얼굴 유형에 따른 헤어커트스타일의 선호도는 둥근형, 삼각형, 장방형 얼굴은 레이어커트스타일(Layered cut style)을 가장 선호하였고, 선호 정도는 둥근형 얼굴 46.7%, 삼각형 32.6%, 장방형 35.1%이었다. 그러나 사각형 얼굴은 스파니엘커트스타일(Spaniel cut style)을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났으며, 선호 정도는 54.0%이었다. 이의 결과는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.001). 따라서 이와 같은 결과는 얼굴형에 따라 선호하는 헤어커트 스타일에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
This study analyzed interest of women’s appearance image and characteristics according to hair style. For the research method, this study used surveys and the subjects were 276 women from Daejeon and Chungnam. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) 24.0 and the results are as follows. For hair cut style preferred by face type, Layered cut was preferred the most at 46.7% for round type, 32.6% for triangle type and 35.1% for long rectangular type. On the other hand, The square face showed the highest preference of Spaniel cut style(54.0%), and the results were statistically significant(p <.001). To the conclusion, these results show that hair style preference is different by face type. However, it is difficult to generalize this conclusion for three reason: Limitation of research area to Daejeon and Chungnam, lack of subjects to be surveyed, and lack of details in survey tools. Therefore, in the follow-up survey, it may be possible to obtain more objective results by expansion of the search area nationwide, increasing number of the samples and more detailed investigation tools.
