The purpose of this study is to explore how communitarian aesthetics are applied to the creation of animation characters, using the Chinese animated film <Jiang Ziya> as a case study. This thesis employs textual research methods to conduct an in-depth analysis of the characters and plot within <Jiang Ziya> in order to investigate the specific application of communitarian aesthetics. This includes an introduction to the basic concepts and theoretical framework of communitarian aesthetics as well as a detailed analysis of the emotional resonance and connections of the main characters within <Jiang Ziya>. It elucidates the importance of communitarian aesthetics in the field of cultural transmission and demonstrates, how community elements affect character formation and story development. The findings indicate that communitarian aesthetics have significant applicative value in the creation of animated characters and that <Jiang Ziya> has successfully utilized the concepts of communitarian aesthetics. It offers valuable insights and references for the development of Chinese animated films, suggesting that through the emotional depth and complexity of the characters, the audience can experience emotional resonance and feel the power of the community within the film's narrative.
