본 연구에서 Pemphigus populitransversus 미루나무면충(신칭)을 국내에서 처음으로 보고한다. 이 종의 형태학적 정보, 분포지역, 기주식물, 한국에 분포하는 Pemphigus 속 종들에 대한 분류키를 제공한다.

Pemphigus populitransversus Riley, 1879 collected on Populus deltoides Marsh. is reported for the first time in South Korea. Identification key of the genus Pemphigus from South Korea, species description, measurement, diagnosis, distributions, host plants, illustrations, and identification key of emigrants in the genus Pemphigus from South Korea are provided.
