이 연구는 한국 프로축구리그에서 활동하는 국내･외국인 선수의 경기 력을 비교 분석하기 위한 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 프로 축구 연맹 데이 터센터에서 2023년 K리그 1 33라운드 2750개 자료를 수집하였다. 객관 적인 경기력 비교를 위해 공격, 패스 그리고 수비 영역에서 16개 요인을 선정하였고 포지션 및 국내와 외국 선수의 차이를 분석하였다. 분석 결 과 첫째, 외국인 축구 선수들은 국내 선수들에 비해 공격적인 활동에 많 은 개입이 있었다. 둘째, 포지션에 따른 차이에서는 각 요인의 차이가 포 지션에 맞게 정상적으로 이루어진 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 외국인 선수들 은 전체적인 포지션에서 국내 선수들에 비해 공격적인 성향이 높은 면을 볼 수 있었다. 이상의 이 연구 결과를 종합해 보면, 외국인 선수가 국 내 선수에 비해 공격적인 요인에서 높은 경기력을 가지고 있다는 것을 객관적으로 증명하였다. 이 연구를 통해 나타난 결과를 중심으로 후속 연구를 제안해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국 내･외 선수들의 체격, 체력 그리고 심리적 요인을 비교 분석하여 다양한 요인에서의 차이를 확인 해 봐야 한다. 둘째, 축구뿐만 아니라 다양한 프로스포츠에서 심층적 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 생각되며, 실제 현장에서 도움이 될 수 있는 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
This study aims to analyze the comparative performance of Korean and foreign players in the Korean Professional Football League. For this purpose, 2,750 data from the 33rd round of the 2023 K League 1 were collected from the data center of the Korean Football Federation. We selected 16 factors in the areas of attack, passing, and defense for an objective comparison of performance, and analyzed the differences between Korean and foreign players by position. The results of the analysis showed that, first, foreign soccer players were more involved in offensive activities than domestic players; second, the differences in each factor were normalized for position. Third, foreign players were more aggressive than domestic players across all positions. Taken together, the results of this study objectively prove that foreign players have higher performance in aggressive factors compared to domestic players. Based on the findings of this study, the following suggestions for further research are made. First, the physique, physical strength, and psychological factors of domestic and foreign players should be compared. Second, further research across various sports, including soccer, is needed for practical insights.
