본 연구는 기업 조사를 바탕으로 기업의 공해 해양생물자원 산업화 이용 의향을 조사·분석하여 소비자의 공해 해양생물자원에 대한 향후 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 국내 바이오 기업 312곳을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대부분의 기업이 공해 해양생물자원 확보 사업의 중요성을 높게 인식하 고 있으며, 응답 기업의 55.1%가 향후 산업활동 과정에서 공해 해양생물자원을 활용할 의향을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 각 자 원의 활용 의지에는 차이가 있으며, 비교적 대량생산이 가능한 자원에 대한 활용 의지가 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자원 활 용 측면에서는 모든 평가 항목에서 90% 이상의 기업이 자원에 대한 기초 효능 탐색 정보의 유용성에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기업들은 기초연구, 유용소재 개발, 산업소재 확보, 효과성 평가 등 비교적 초기 단계의 공정에 대한 지원 요구가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 분석 결과를 바탕으로 정책적 시사점을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to derive policy implications of consumers' positions on the high-seas marine biological resources in the future by investigating and analyzing companies' industrial intentions for industrial use of high-sea marine biological resources based on corporate research. In this study, the results of a survey of 312 domestic bio companies were used to achieve the research objectives, and the main analysis results are as follows. First, most companies are highly aware of the importance of the project to secure marine biological resources in the high seas, and 55.1% of responding companies have the intention to utilize marine biological resources in the high seas in the course of future industrial activities. Second, there are differences in companies' willingness to utilize each resource, and they have a relatively high willingness to utilize resources that can be relatively mass-produced. Third, from a resource utilization perspective, more than 90% of companies have a positive perception of the usefulness of basic efficacy search information for resources in all evaluation items. Fourth, it was confirmed that companies have a high demand for support for relatively early-stage process processes such as basic research, development of useful materials, securing industrial materials, and evaluation of effectiveness. Based on these findings, the study suggests several policy implications.
