Sangzhi folk song is a kind of intangible cultural heritage, its own value is mainly displayed in the tune and form of the song. At the same time Sangzhi folk songs as a kind of cultural relics, folk songs themselves show the state of group life has important cultural value.Sangzhi folk song has strong national culture and is also the traditional characteristic culture passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, it is necessary to solve this phenomenon in order to achieve the inheritance and protection of national culture.Sangzhi folk song has been developing through the history and has gradually become a unique artistic landscape and a precious cultural heritage. Sangzhi folk songs for the study of music history, has an important reverse reference value, so this paper studies the cultural changes of Sangzhi folk songs, hoping to promote the continuous development of minority music.
