1인 가구의 증가는 우리나라뿐만 아니라 전 세계적인 추세이며, 인천시 또한 1인 가구가 빠 르게 증가하고 있다. 2022년 7월 기준 인천광역시 1인 가구는 약 502,007 가구로 전체 가 구 1,317,046 가구 중 38.1%를 차지한다. 또한 1인 가구 증가율은 미추홀구가 2021년 61,330가구에서 2051년 91,714가구로 가장 가파르게 증가 할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 1인 가 구는 다인가구와 여러 면에서 다른 특성을 지닐 뿐 아니라, 1인 가구 내에서도 성별, 생애주 기, 거주 지역에 따라 다른 특성과 정책적 요구가 다르게 나타난다. 그러나 인천시 1인 가구 증가율이 가장 높을 것으로 예상되는 미추홀구의 1인 가구에 대한 정책이 미흡할 뿐 아니라 1인 가구의 특성을 전반적으로 살펴본 연구 또한 부재한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미 추홀구의 1인가구의 비율이 가장 높은 중장년부터 노년층을 대상으로 1인 가구의 일상생활에 서 필요한 다양한 복지욕구 실태조사 자료를 분석하여 1인 가구의 지역적 특성을 반영한 사 업발굴과 1인 가구 맞춤형 복지서비스를 마련하기 위한 정책을 제시하고자 한다.

The increase in single-person households is a trend not only in Korea but also around the world, and the number of single-person households in Incheon is also rapidly increasing. As of July 2022, there were about 502,007 single-person households in Incheon, accounting for 38.1% of the total 1,317,046 households. In addition, the growth rate of single-person households is predicted to increase the steepest in Michuhol-gu from 61,330 in 2021 to 91,714 in 2051. Single-person households not only have different characteristics from multi-person households in many ways, but also have different characteristics and policy demands within single-person households depending on gender, life cycle, and residential area. The policy for single-person households in Michuhol-gu, which is expected to have the highest growth rate of single-person households in Incheon, is insufficient, and there is no research on the overall characteristics of single-person households. Therefore, this study aims to present a policy to discover projects and provide customized welfare services for single-person households by analyzing data on various welfare needs in daily life of single-person households from the middle-aged to the elderly in Michuhol-gu.
