본 연구는 고령화 사회에서 심화되는 낙상 문제를 예방하기 위한 국내외 연구 동향을 고찰하였다. 낙상은 신체기능 저하뿐 아니라 환경적 요인과 심리사회적 요인이 복합적으로 작용하는 다차원적 문제로, 개인 의 안전과 삶의 질에 중대한 영향을 미친다. 문헌분석 결과, 국내 낙상 예방 연구는 병원 중심의 물리적 접근에서 벗어나 지역사회 기반에서 신체·환경·심리사회·디지털 요소를 통합한 복합중재로 발전해 온 것으 로 나타났다. 따라서 낙상예방은 의료적 처치를 넘어 복지적 가치와 심 리사회적 지원을 결합한 통합적 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구는 낙상예방의 사회복지적 의의를 강조하며, 지역 기반 맞춤형 중재와 정책적 지원의 필요성을 제시하였다.

This study aimed to examine recent trends in fall prevention research among older adults and to explore its welfare and social healing implications. A literature-based review was conducted using domestic and international studies related to physical, environmental, and psychosocial interventions. The findings indicate that fall prevention research in Korea has shifted from hospital-centered physical approaches toward community-based integrated interventions that combine physical, environmental, psychosocial, and digital components, contributing to improved physical function, enhanced self-efficacy, and reduced psychological isolation. The study emphasizes the need for an integrated welfare-oriented approach combining medical, psychological, and community resources. Policy support and local-based programs are essential to promote safe aging and improve quality of life among older adults.
