개정향풀의 종자 및 삽목 번식 특성 비교
This study aimed to establish an efficient propagation protocol for Apocynum lancifolium Russanov by evaluating seed germination behavior and vegetative propagation through stem cuttings. Seed germination was examined under different temperature regimes, cold-stratification periods, and gibberellic acid (GA3) treatments. Final germination rates were high (98.7%–100%) at 25/15, 20/10, and 15/6°C, whereas germination was significantly reduced at 4°C (13.3%). Cold stratification for 0–12 weeks resulted in consistently high germination, without significant differences among stratification durations. GA3 treatment did not affect final germination under optimal temperature conditions, whereas under the relatively low temperature regime (15/6°C), differences were observed only during early germination progression. The move-along test further confirmed that germination was strongly inhibited at 4°C. Collectively, these findings indicate that A. lancifolium seeds do not require cold stratification or GA3 treatment and can be classified as non-dormant. For vegetative propagation, stem cuttings were treated with indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) at concentrations of 100–2000 mg·L-1. Survival rate differed insignificantly among treatments. Root number and leaf width were highest at 1000 mg·L-1 IBA. Considering both rooting performance and shoot growth, IBA concentrations of 500–1000 mg·L-1 were optimal, with 1000 mg·L-1 identified as the most effective concentration. These results demonstrate the feasibility of combined seed- and cutting-based propagation strategies for A. lancifolium.
