본 연구의 목적은 삼성장학재단 외국인 장학생(대학생 및 대학원생) 65명을 대상으로 한국어 능력과 한국어 효능감이 진로개발역량에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS를 활 용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결 과, 한국어 효능감과 TOPIK 급수는 진로개발역량에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 그러나 상호작용 효과 분석에서 한국어 능력 고 급 수준과 한국어 효능감의 상호작용항은 전체 진로개발역량에 유의한 부(-)적 영향을 나타냈다. 이는 한국어 능력이 고급 학습자 집단에서 한 국어 효능감이 진로개발역량에 미치는 긍정적 효과가 초급 학습자 대비 유의하게 감소한다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 외국인 유학생의 한국어 능 력을 고려한 진로개발역량 프로그램 개발되어 운영해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Korean language ability and Korean efficacy on career development competency in 65 foreign scholarship students of the Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation. To this end, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS based on the collected data. As a result of the study, Korean efficacy and TOPIK series did not have a direct significant effect on career development competency. However, in the analysis of interaction effects, the interaction term between the advanced level of Korean proficiency and Korean efficacy showed a significant negative(-) effect on the overall career development competency. This means that the positive effect of Korean efficacy on career development competency in the advanced learner group is significantly reduced compared to that of beginner learners. Therefore, in the development and operation of a career development competency program for international students, it should be differentiated by the Korean language ability of international students.
