Improvement of Decentralized Identity Authentication Protocols with Auditability and Privacy
This study presents a formal attack trace on vulnerabilities such as DID-counter linked anonymity leakage in the baseline protocol through re-analysis of a privacy-preserving DID protocol. We propose improvements including enhanced session-key binding, mandatory multi-party trust establishment, blockchain-level token continuity verification, and event-based audit mechanisms. Simulation results confirm that the proposed protocol maintains throughput equivalent to the original while significantly enhancing privacy, auditability, replay detection, and forward secrecy.
