분석 결과, K-PSS-10(F=21.258, p<.001, η²ₚ=.347), REQ(F=26.813, p<.001, η²ₚ=.401), SDNN(F=5.173, p=.008, η²ₚ=.115) 및 lnHF(F=7.775, p=.001, η²ₚ=.163)에서 유의한 집단×시 기 상호작용이 나타났으나, RMSSD에서는 유의하지 않았다(F=1.856, p=.163, η²ₚ=.044).

This study examined the effects of an integrative yoga program on perceived stress, recovery experiences, and heart rate variability (HRV) in employed adults using repeated measurements. In this randomized controlled trial, 42 employed adults were randomly assigned to a yoga group (n=21) or a control group (n=21), and all 42 participants were included in the final analysis. The yoga group participated in an approximately 80-minute integrative yoga program three times per week for 12 weeks, totaling 34 sessions, whereas the control group maintained their usual daily activities without any integrative yoga intervention during the study period. Outcomes were assessed at baseline (week 0), 6 weeks, and 12 weeks using the K-PSS-10, REQ, and HRV indices (RMSSD, SDNN, and lnHF). Data were analyzed using two-way repeated-measures ANOVA. Associations between changes in psychological and HRV indices were examined exploratorily using Pearson correlation, partial correlation controlling for group, and group-specific correlation analyses. Significant group-by-time interactions were found for K-PSS-10 (F=21.258, p<.001, η²ₚ =.347), REQ (F=26.813, p<.001, η²ₚ=.401), SDNN (F=5.173, p=.008, η²ₚ=.115), and lnHF (F=7.775, p=.001, η²ₚ=.163), but not for RMSSD (F=1.856, p=.163, η²ₚ=.044). A significant negative correlation was found between ΔK-PSS-10 and ΔlnHF in the whole sample (r= −.465, p=.002), but this association was not significant after controlling for group (r= −.268, p=.090) or in the group-specific analyses. These associations were therefore interpreted as exploratory findings. In conclusion, the 12-week integrative yoga program showed significant group-by-time effects on perceived stress, recovery experiences, and selected HRV indices in employed adults. However, the interaction for RMSSD and the group-controlled association between psychological and HRV changes were not significant. These findings should be interpreted cautiously as preliminary evidence for the potential effects of the program on stress- and recovery-related outcomes in employed adults.
